Merlin, I am tired.
Well, your hours are ridiculous. Your boss is aware you’re only sixteen, right?
Let's hope so...
And I don't even get the worst of it! Almost everyone there is overworked.

Merlin, I am tired.
Work's really been taking a toll on me.
Oh, hey... // Charlie and Lily
Lily stood up from Charlie’s bed, devising a plan of the house in her head. “Your’s is the only room on this floor,” she explained before grabbing Charlie’s hand and pulling her to the floor below. She stopped at the top of the stairs leading to the ground floor. Standing on the top step, she turned to Charlie and whispered. “You have to be really quiet down here because of Mrs. Black’s portrait. If you make too much noise she’ll start yelling, and she’s rather rude.” She paused, waiting for a confirmation from Charlie that she understood. “There’s a dining room on that landing, and the kitchen is below. Through the door at the end of the hall there are stairs that lead down there. That’s where you can normally find any of us if you’re looking.”
Lily grabbed Charlie’s hand again and pulled her into a room on the second floor. “This is the drawing room,” she explained at a normal volume, now that they were away from Mrs. Black. “You can talk normally anywhere but the main hall, but try not to tell, because that can wake her.” She let go of Charlie’s hand and began to walk about the room, running a hand over the tapestry of the Black family tree. “This room has just sort of served as a multipurpose room over the years. The other room on this floor is another guest room. Or, the only guest room, I suppose, now that you’ve taken the one upstairs.”
“Oh,” Charlie gave a small, almost humorless laugh. “Sorry if I’ve taken up too much space.” She entered the room and took her in surroundings. It felt still and calming. Following Lily, she walked around the drawing room, being sure of not touching anything, just in case. She examined the Black family tree and carefully read every name under each picture. Taking a few steps back, she looked at the wall as a whole. The tapestry fascinated her most and she reminded herself to come here whenever she might need to relax.
Charlie’s hand was being yanked on again as Lily pulled her back upstairs, reminding Charlie that she could observe the little details later. They passed Charlie’s room quickly, moving on to the floor above. When they reached the top step, Lily explained that this was the floor her brother’s stayed on and pointed out each of the boys’ rooms. Then, she moved quickly to the next floor, barely giving Charlie time to take in her surroundings. Finally, they had reached the last floor. There were two doors which were across from each other. Lily told her that the room on their right was her father’s godfather’s room and that no one really used it. She turned to the door to their left, instead, and pulled Charlie inside.
