My Best

I'm forced to accept one of these two realities- either I didn't truly give my best, or my best just wasn't good enough. Neither of these are easy pills to swallow.

Going through our old the photos kills me inside. Bringing back memories of a time when life truly felt flawless.

Photos of you. Photos of us. Screenshots of conversations and silly snapchats.

You jokingly said that you took so many photos on my phone so it would suck to delete those memories of us.

Now that you broke my heart I can’t bring myself to get rid of the last links to the most worthwhile chapter of my life.

Prince Charming

I deeply believe that the inmost desire of almost every man is to sweep a woman off her feet, be her prince charming and save her from the dragon. We are all the prince charming of our own fairy tale, however, from another’s perspective, we can be the dragon from which a different prince charming saves the one we honestly thought were saving.
