Since Speak Now was all about my songwriting, I decided to go to the artists who I feel influenced me most powerfully as a lyricist at that time and ask them to sing on the album. You can help the homeless without internet validation. You can give your grandma a meaningful gift without recording her at an emotionally charged moment. Not every aspect of your and other's personal lives must be posted on the internet.
