Love is not just about what you deserve or what is better; is it?
The Chase.
The universe is my teacher
The world my canvas
And I
A blind artist
Seeking the light I lost
Only to find pain where I should not.
Each road new, yet familiar
Surprising, yet predictable.
Like the ones before me and the ones after
I search for the meaning of life
Only to realize the meaning is not in life itself
But in the chase that is our life.
Everything in life has a price; the price for love is and always will be pain. Ironies.
MyQuote #17
Problems seldom disappear in a mortal life; So does who you are deep inside.
MyQuote #16
‘Choices.’
Choices. Everyone wants them. The hottest topic in thecountry at the moment. Everyone from male to female is debating on their choices and their right to make them as they wish. Now this did not happen because we realized that in life we always have choices, but because someone came on screen and said choice is a mode of empowerment. Now empowerment also started getting a lot of limelight in the recent week because someone came up on YouTube and made a video for a million people to watch. Empowerment is technically referred to as increasing the economic, political, social, educational, gender, or spiritual strength of an entity or entities. Oh, did it say entity? Last I checked, entity has no gender. It could be male or female.
So why the sudden bestowment of the words empowerment or choice to a specific gender alone? Equality comes in being treated as equals which people should support and practice. But equality doesn’t mean you push down the other side by demanding more rights just to make it equal. I have a lot of women in my life who I respect and adore and so do you all. But being a male alone does not make one a part of the society who wrote those rules that confine women.
Now coming to choices. We all have choices to choose from, that is the only way we can convince ourselves that we control our life and not fate or destiny or whatnot. And most of these choices have a bigger blast radius and it’s not just about ground zero. Cause not all of the choices you make are about fruits or clothes. Some make people happy, some destroy them or yourself. Think twice before you make them cause the ones who you hurt by your ‘choices’ are humans too. I’m in no way against women being treated as equal in men in terms of society, rules, pay, because all who walk this earth came from a woman.
A woman is my mother, my sister and I will love and spend the rest of my life with my woman. But a man is also my father, my brother and my ‘bros’ and they are just as important.
Respect humans, not gender.
Love not shown is love not felt.

Opinion
Rape. As disgusted I am, the fact is that word has become a part of our Indian society. You open any paper. Pick any among the tens of them, and every paper will have something related to rape in their front page. Children, young women, old women victim to scavengers that show no discrimination.
About eight or nine years back the word rape was almost non-existent. But the word has made an appearance quite a lot in the recent times, making up for lost time. And it took one victim to awaken the Indian people that we have a disease among us. A disease that is spreading all over our country. A disease like nothing we have seen. A disease that can be cured by only one kind of a shot. That of a rifle bullet right to the head.
When the country united and picked up banner’s for the animals of the 2012 gang rape to be brought to justice (which took one year), I belonged to the class of people who perhaps believed that the only justice here was to drag them in the middle of the road and shoot them one by one. That might sound extremist, but can I be blamed? Stead of hanging them, they actually managed to get a stay order.
This is what’s wrong with us. We thought and hoped that was the end. But from then on, there has been an increase in the number of rape victims. Nowadays even children are not being spared. Teachers who are supposed to TEACH children about values have also begun to follow in the foot-steps of these scums.
Bharath, the land where people like Gandhi, a person named as a Mahatma all over the world had shed his blood and tears to free us from tyranny and the rule of a colonial power, great men like Bhagat Singh and so many more who sacrificed their life so that WE the people of this nation can enjoy freedom, all in vain.
Our countries fore-fathers gave us a free nation to build it how we wanted, and this is what we have become. And amidst ALL this, our country’s people look down on what?
Relationships. Any guy or girl in a relationship are looked down as uncultured. Guys getting beaten up in the middle of the road by people who oppose dating, while we wait for the animals sitting in jails to be served justice when the reality of the situation is that the only THING being served to them is food using the money of tax payers. Our money.
I’m not talking about the male and the female lot or pointing fingers. This is OUR country. So I would rather see this issue as something between the sane public against things I’m not sure what to name yet because animals don’t quite give them justice. Writing this or reading this might not bring justice to any of the fallen, but if I being someone with the ability to think don’t write about something destroying our country bit by bit every single day, it doesn’t matter what else I write about.
The 21st century. A time, when humanity is celebrated in social networking. Overlooked in the real world.

MyQuote #13
Pain.
Pain. If I have to write about pain, it’s not possible. Because pain is not something you can put in words, or explain to someone. Talking about pain happens to be a totally different thing. Thing about pain that I’ve felt is that pain has the ability to camouflage anything happy in our life to something negative and sad. Let’s take the example of something that most of us have undergone. Romantic songs/scene’s in a movie. During the course of a relationship, these things give you a great sense of joy, happiness. But once the relationship breaks up, the very mention of romantic songs make u moody, and watching the hero and heroine romance on screen is the last straw for many people. Now does the songs or scenes we see change? Mostly no, but our life changes every day, and the pain that we get from the breakup comes and covers any or all happiness in such things. Now this is just one example, there are plenty more of such situations we face every day but might not notice, and I took that example because that is something everyone can relate to. Unhappy family, education, life, you name it, pain plays a role in everything. And the most tricky thing about pain? Once you let pain rule your life, you will never be happy. You will not realize any opportunity to be happy, and whilst away your life, longing for something you lost when something better might be knocking at your door. And facing your burden alone is one of the main reason for people to crack (or be strong), but most of us have no choice but to do it alone. Each of us have our own share of pain, and no one’s is more or less than the other. We all fight our own battle, we each have our own ‘demons’ inside us. You can’t run from pain, or hide from it, or avoid it. So what can we do about pain? If I knew the answer to that, I won’t be writing this. Consider this the rambling of a person who has felt his share of pain since he can remember, and is tired of the human condition. And to all the people fighting the good fight, may your obstacles make you a much stronger person than you already are, and maybe someday you will be happy that you stood strong. Like Winston Churchill said “If you’re going through hell, keep going”.
Death happens in two ways: You either move on to a much better place, or you die inside and continue living.
MyQuote #12
When something that appeared positive in your life turns out to make your life more negative and crappier than it already was, the part that kills you inside is the irony of the situation, more than the betrayal or the pain or the anger, it’s the irony.

The Misconceptions Of the Word 'College Life'.
College life. When we hear anyone say those two words together, instantly an image of a large campus comes into our head, filled with friends, guys and girls walking around, love, friendship, and fun. What if I told you that it isn’t anything like it? Studying in a college for the past three years of my life, I too came with a lot of expectations in terms of ‘college life’, and boy was I disappointed. More than 90 percent of our colleges (at least down south) frown upon anything we find fun. And one of the most irritating aspect that is considered a taboo in pretty much all these educational institutions: Girlfriend and Girl-friends. I’m sure a lot of you people can relate to this. Imagine spending some quality time with a girl, or your girl, and suddenly someone pops up from under a bush and asks you to go left and her to go right because the sun has set. Sounds pretty lame doesn’t it? They frown upon a girl and guy spending time together, with most colleges restricting contact among them to a hand shake and nothing more, at least not within the premises of the campus (Phew!). Now oblivious to the heads of our college’s, the more you restrict such things, the more issues you have to deal with in this matter .Guys and girls get into relationships and fall in love all the time, since the dawn of time. You cannot stop that from happening. The irony is that the people who stop these kind of ‘activities’ or make rules to stop it are all married. What’s up with that? I’m not talking about any specific college, but pretty much colleges around us. We are forced to obey so many rule’s that ‘college life’ becomes ‘college’, and then whatever ‘life’ you have left after it’s done. This goes to especially kids in school who dream of a day after school finishes, where they join a college and expect something like Student of the year or Janne Tu Ya Jaane Na to happen. It doesn’t work that way anymore, because colleges these days pretty much function like a Nazi regime, and like it or not, you have to go come out victorious to be accepted in our present society.
A time will soon come in our society where a child's degree will be named before he/she is.
MyQuote #9
Individualism today, gone tomorrow.
Today I saw pain, pain which I’ve never imagined even in my worst nightmare I would have to bare to see. I heard a mother wail whatever soul she had left in her, calling out to her son. Her son, who took his life because our education system and life had failed him. Many people study various engineering fields all over the world, and many or most of them pass out in flying colors, but does that necessary mean our system is meant for all of the students?. It is not unheard of in our country for a student to take his life because of educational pressure, because in some corner of their heart they feel guilt, guilt that they failed their parents and hence will never be able to live up to their expectations, so they have become a burden to them. And who do we blame? Who CAN we blame? Our parents love us, no doubt there, but is It wrong to say that at times parents take certain decisions for their child’s bright future or put hopes in their child , which end up in the child losing his/her future?. Not everyone has the same brain power it is said, so why do students feel they fail their parents when they fail an exam? In our time, we are as good as our degree, at least to the society. Gone are the days of individualism being celebrated, instead people celebrate individual scores, and weigh us on the basis of our so called certificates and degrees in every social gathering we force ourselves to attend. This should change, else we will lose ourselves in the never ending race to get more bits of papers than the rest. Taking a life is not something that should be condoned either, but can we really blame them? In times of a fire, people jump out of the building as quickly as they can. So why can’t our system be more understanding. How does it hurt for them to care about their students? Are arrears seriously becoming more important than a human life? And who can guarantee a degree is all that is needed for happiness? Because the next question the aunty next door will ask your mother is ‘where does your son/daughter work?’, and again the judging continues, on and on, like a spinning wheel. My friend wasn’t the first person to do it, and if our world goes on its current path, he will not be the last, and it is up to us, the present generation to decide how we want our world to be. But no matter what anyone tells about you, or whatever your CGPA is, always remember it doesn’t affect WHO you ARE, only YOU have the power to determine that. Love yourself, be strong.
Being strong does not mean you are not affected by it,it shows you are trying to handle the situation in your own way.
