If you’re criticizing Robert for using the ‘genderbend’ hashtag on his tiktok - the song is written for a female identifying character and he is a male performing it. He doesn’t alter his appearance, comment on what maureen should look like or sound like, or make any insinuation about what they should be. He’s simply pointing out he’s covering a song that is written for a different gender identity than his own - you could say that it’s unnecessary he added it, but whats the problem here? are you familiar with Broadway Miscast?
