SHE DID THAT
me at the family dinner, sometime in 2036
Every time I see this video, it renews me
‘Annabeth smiled. “I don’t know the ocean very well, but my boyfriend does. I think it’s time you met Percy.”’
If those aren’t some of the most exciting words in Uncle Rick’s books…
Some shit’s gonna go down, but Mango Cheese and Persassy get to meet. Hella exciting.
C.S. Lewis, Till We Have Faces
Nature is woman’s best friend,’ she often said. ‘If you’re having troubles, you just swim in the water, stretch out in a field, or look up at the stars. That’s how a woman cures her fears’.

I prayed for you
I haven't prayed since I thought God abandoned me when my family got kicked out of church but damn, I pray for you now all the time. I just want you to be okay.
She’s still a child, already fighting, already worthy. Queen Lucy the Valiant.
5 of my favourite facts about Narnia!
Now I know that many of us can agree that watching the 2005 adaption of the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe triggered something in all of our imaginations. It didn't really matter how old you were, Suddenly we all wanted to be 5 again and discover our own world and become royalty and befriend a lion and have tea with a faun
Ahh
But some of us (well me personally) remember being snuggled in bed and having someone read us the story of how a magicians nephew named Diggory accidentally stumbled into the creation of world and may have doomed it. Although it wasn't really his fault. And even if it was it was also Polly's and his uncles and oh those poor Guinea pigs.
And even if your parents like mine didn't want to actually read you the stories there was this fascinating thing that could read stories to you! (Audio books!) I had Patrick Stewart read me the last battle until I was old enough to ignore it myself because I realized what a sad sad story it was so I never read it again.
Anyway without further a'do, here's 5 facts about Narnia!
Fact 1: It's all based on a picture!
When he was 16 years old, C.S. Lewis saw a picture of a faun with an umbrella and carried the idea of the picture around with him until he was about forty, when he decided to write a book about it.
Fact 2: The first book, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe took 10 years for author C.S. Lewis to write!
He started writing the first book in 1939 and had never written a children's story before. When his friends didn't like his first draft he destroyed it! Lewis then had some major writers block until he started dreaming about lions. Then he put Aslan the lion into the story and it all started to unravel. He finished writing the story in 1949, It took Lewis about 10 years to write the first book and one more to have it published in 1950!
Fact 3: Lucy was based on a real person!
Lucy was based on Lewis's god daughter, Lucy Garfield. And because the book took so long to write she was 4 when he started it and 14 when he finished it which is why the book starts with the dedication "My dear Lucy, I wrote this story for you, but when I began it I had not realized that girls grow quicker than books. As a result you are too old for fairy tales, and by the time this is printed and bound you will be older still. But some day you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again. You can then take it down from some upper shelf, dust it, and tell me what you think of it. I shall probably be too deaf to hear, and too old to understand a word you say but I shall still be your affectionate godfather"
Fact 4: The story the Horse and His Boy was completed before the Silver Chair although the Silver Chair was published first.
The Horse and His Boy even takes place before the Silver Chair in chronological order and in the Silver Chair they make a reference to the adventures from Horse and His Boy.
Fact 5: C.S. Lewis began writing the books in the order:
-The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe
-Prince Caspian
-The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
-The Horse and His Boy
-The Silver Chair
-The Magicians Nephew
And The Last Battle
The books were published in the order:
-The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
-Prince Caspian
-The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
-The Silver Chair
-The Horse and His Boy
-The Magicians Nephew
And The Last Battle
And the chronological order of the books goes:
-The Magicians Nephew
-The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
-The Horse and His Boy
-Price Caspian
-The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
-The Silver Chair
And The Last Battle
Thank you for reading, if you want to know more facts like these let me know!
Narnia + Prophecies
I know we're all thinking it but imma be the one that comes out and says it: What if the Egyptians were right????
“Once a king or queen of Narnia,
always a king or queen of Narnia.
May your wisdom grace us
until the stars rain down from the heavens.”
