Did you guys and Zoey's mod get in a fight? All the Zoey accounts are deactivated now :(
//I wouldn't consider it a fight, given there wasn't any direct communication involved. Here's a basic breakdown of the past fourish months from behind the scenes for you guys
they requested a break from the blogs and us mid December, which we gave them.
I received the ask about the blogs going dormant in January on @mira-huntrix-official, we gave them time to make up their mind on whether to return, and got ghosted.
We reached out again later on, they apologized to Rumi's mod and said they would think about it, and then ghosted them.
We finally caved and made our own blogs three months later. (Because we missed this, and missed you guys!)
They deactivated and cut communication recently, though I'm not exactly sure when or why.
//It's a very disappointing end to those three blogs we had together, and I do wish they would have warned us. There's no hard feelings towards Zoey's mod, I'm not mad at them nor do I want any of you to be, I'm ultimately just sad to have lost a friend and a fun activity like this.
Finally conviced Mira to make a blog with me. Took her a bit, but connecting with all our fans is important to us! Can't wait to hear from you all, but please be respectful, or our HR team (a very angry Mira) will have to handle the situation.

Once Celine is done, Mira ends up in her bed. The how and why is kind of fuzzy, exhaustion has truly started to set in now. She's off kilter and out of it, her body feels like lead when she tries to roll over, wings splaying awkwardly against the sheets. The bandages press uncomfortably against her pillow, and the hair on the left side of her head tickles her neck uncomfortably from where it's been choppily cut to shoulder length. The right side of her head's been buzzed to half a centimeter to ensure the bandages cover her eye properly. She might've cried more when her hair was cut. It's not been a fun night. What hurts the most, though, is the longing deep in her chest for her girls. Celine had been fairly adamant that they take the night to themselves while they rested, despite her protests.
Wow. I'm a fucking idiot. Is Zoey's main thought of the night. Because believe it or not, ripping out your freshly grown horns isn't painless. Her room feels uncomfortably empty for once. For her demon side, it's a relief to be alone. But for her? It sucked. It sucked alot, actually. After everything that happened she just wants to be close to her girls, she wants to be there and know they're okay. She can only imagine how hard Rumi's taking this. Against her will or not, she's probably going to be fucked up after injuring her girlfriends so severely.
Zoey was laying on her back, one pillow wrapped in her tail, and another in her arms, careful to not put too much pressure on her hand. She couldn't help but wonder how bad it would end up looking. It was her own weapon that inflicted it after all. She felt exhausted but so uncomfortably awake at the same time.
Rumi's only thought was how hard breathing was. As it turned out, having the top of your mouth stabbed and bandages stuffed in your mouth didn't make it easy to get a proper breath. Plus everything was uncomfortable. She thought she heard Celine mutter something about needing an IV drip since even drinking soup through a straw would be nearly impossible and risk choking. Rumi lay completely still in her back, trying to relax, but she was stiff as a board, everything hurting. At the very least, she figured she should be thankful she hadn't fallen off the balcony and likely to her death.
As she lay there, a second thought entered her mind.
She missed Zoey and Mira...
the silence is nearly unbearable now. Mira has never been one to listen to authority, and she'll be damned if she lets that fact change today. and so with a Herculean effort, she sits up, and nearly tips over to the side again. The room spins. But she knows she won't sleep like this, and after a minute she pushes herself to stand. She has to lean against the wall for support, but she manages to make it down the hallway with some degree of stealth. she makes it to Zoey's room after a good few minutes, and not wanting to risk making too much noise, she opens the door and peeks in.
Zoey lazily rolls onto her side to see the door, face immediately lighting up seeing Mira. A smile spread across her face as she sat up excitedly.
Mira!
Mira's own lips twitch upwards, but she's too tired to muster a full smile. But her eye softens, and she raises a finger to her lips, before nodding in the direction of Rumi's room.
Zoey detangles herself from her bed, eagerly getting up to follow Mira.
the two make their way to Rumi's room, and this time Mira does knock, albeit much softer than usual, before carefully cracking the door open.
Rumi tries to look over but grimaces in pain, clutching the bed sheets.
Take it easy, Rums. Zoey and I are both here, can you give us a thumbs up if you're okay with us coming in?
Mira speaks softly, watching with slight concern at the pain Rumi seems to be in.
Rumi shakily manages to give a thumbs up, trying her best to focus on the fact that Mira and Zoey are here and not the pain she was in. She remembered something about how Celine mentioned she'd need to go get morphine or some other injected pain killer for Rumi because Rumi couldn't swallow any medicine with her mouth stuffed with bandages.
with the confirmation from Rumi, both enter. Mira sits on the edge of the bed by Rumi's head so she's within easy sight of her.
Hey, Tiger. I couldn't fall asleep without knowing you were okay. Without knowing both of you were okay.
Her eye meets Zoey's gaze.
Would it be okay if we stayed? Celine is gonna give us hell in the morning but I don't like the thought of any of us sleeping alone tonight. Not after that.
Rumi tries her best to nod, wincing and grimacing slightly as she does.
Zoey's just excited to be near her girls without feeling like she's going to melt just by being in the same room. But she's still trying to trust that she won't do anything horrible again so she decides to sit on the floor next to the bed.
Rumi tries to look over at Mira and Zoey, but Celine's makeshift neckbrace prevented a lot of movement there. Besides the bandages in her mouth, there were other bandages all over her body from the fight, wounds that weren't healing despite Rumi having healed from demonic wounds in the past.
Mira leans over her to press a kiss to her forehead, and so that she can see her.
Stop moving, you're gonna make your injuries worse, and then Celine will really kill us. We're here. Just relax. Zoey's on the floor by the side of the bed, I'll move wherever you want me.
Rumi slowly reaches her hand out to Mira and Zoey as she does her best to look over at them without moving her head.
Mira allows herself to be pulled down and settled against Rumi's side, adjusting so that she's not pressing against any of Rumi's injuries or irritating her own. Then, she reaches over to grab Zoey's good hand, uncaring of how the younger demon has to awkwardly move so her arm doesn't get twisted, and places it in Rumi's own. She knows how Zoey gets, and she's not about to let her sleep on the floor. Rumi wants both of them.
Rumi tries to say something, but it comes out as a whispered groan.

Rumi lay completely still in her back, trying to relax, but she was stiff as a board, everything hurting. At the very least, she figured she should be thankful she hadn't fallen off the balcony and likely to her death.
As she lay there, a second thought entered her mind.
She missed Zoey and Mira...
Zoey managed to get the other two patched up before falling unconscious herself, the pain and blood loss finally becoming too much. She sat up against a wall with her tail curled in her lap, blood staining her scales and skin. She could care less what happened to her, as long as her girls were safe.
Rumi stumbles as she tries to get over to Zoey, Celine rushing over and catching Rumi as she falls.
Rumi, no, you need to lie down.
But Rumi wasn't listening. She just wanted to get to Mira and Zoey, pain be damned.
Rumi, listen to Celine, please. I'm okay.
Rumi juat tears up more, weakly reaching for Zoey. Swallowing back her tears, Celine carefully picks up Rumi and carries her over, sitting down and putting Rumi in the middle. Rumi practically falls on Mira and Zoey, trying not to cry too much.
Not... Not too long, Rumi, okay? You need to lie down.
Zoey wants to hug Rumi. Badly. But she can't trust herself enough to initiate. Last time they were that close, it was in a fight that nearly got someone killed. She tries to distract herself by thinking about literally anything else. ...her hand should probably get properly looked at. Yeah. That's important.
Mira shifts a little to accommodate her, and offers a hand once she's settled. She doesn't want to push boundaries, but she also doesn't want Rumi to feel like she doesn't want her here. By all logic Mira probably should be afraid of her. She took her eye, for gods sake. But she could never fear Rumi. Even when she was out of control, she was more scared for her than of her.
Rumi all but collapses on Mira and Zoey, Celine doing what she can for Zoey's hand while leaving the girls to have their moment.
The wound looks almost burned on the edges, deep enough that it would've caused a fair bit of damage if it hit Rumi.
Celine carefully begins to stitch the hand together to help Zoey's healing fix whatever damage she had done to herself.
Mira moves so that she can drape her uninjured wing around both Zoey and Rumi, while she watches Celine like a hawk around Zoey. Even if she knows better than ever that Celine isn't going to hurt them, she can't squash that protective instinct.
It's not a perfect fix - none of my patching up is - but it's the best I can do for you without a hospital.
I'll be alright, better than nothing. It's just a teensy tiny-... stab.. wound...! Yeah! Nothing to worry about.
Well, you aren't moving that hand until I say so, unless you want to tear your stitches open and risk losing it.

Rumi groans as she slowly opens her eyes, but gasps and wheezes as she clutches her mouth, rolling on the ground and sobbing from the pain that shoots through her, all the pain that the Tiger had been holding back crashing into her now that it's asleep.
consciousness comes back to Mira blissfully slowly, her mind is foggy and her head pounds. it takes a couple minutes for her to process where she is and what happened, before the pain slams back into her and she crumples, holding her face. she can still taste blood, but her hands meet bandages. who...
and then her gaze falls on Zoey and Rumi, and she forces herself to crawl to them, despite the overwhelming pain she's in.
Rumi has never been in so much physical pain before. Even her transformations are dulled. Normally she heals quickly, even from demon attacks, but that horn that Zoey stabbed her mouth with specifically seemed to do something to mess her up. Her hands is over her mouth as she keeps sobbing.
Ih huhhs!! Ih huhhs!!!
Rumi can't even properly form words as she sobs loudly in pain. She can't remember something hurting so badly. It's like she's a little kid having scraped her knee for the first time times a thousand.
Mira kneels in front of her, gently reaching out. She tries to speak, but the bandages limit the movement of her mouth and she quickly stops trying when the pain flares again.
The elevator door opens with a soft *ding* and Celine hurriedly steps out.
Girls?! What's going on-
Celine freezes at the sight of the three heavily injured women, rushing over to Rumi.
Rumi?! What happened?!
Ih huhhs ahah!!! Ih huhhs!!!
With Rumi being unable to close her mouth from the pain, it was a little hard to understand her, but Celine understood enough to pick Rumi up and rush her to the bathroom to try and patch her up.
Mira watches them go, and her attention turns to Zoey. She makes her way over to her and grabs the med kit by her side, already half empty from her attempts to patch up both of them. She gently grabs Zoey's hand, grimacing at the sight of the hole, and considers the needle and thread in the kit. But her hands are too shaky, she doesn't trust herself not to make the injury worse. So instead, she grabs several butterfly bandages, and applies them as best she can to the injury. They won't be the most effective given the size and severity of the wound but it'll hold until Celine take a look at it. The stump of her horn isn't bleeding nearly as bad, but she wraps gauze around it anyways.
Celine, meanwhile, lays Rumi down in the bathroom, quickly grabbing the kit and examining the injury to Rumi's mouth. The rest were healing but this just... Wasn't. It was like she got stabbed with silver. Carefully, Celine brings the bottle of rubbing alcohol to Rumi's lips.
This is going to hurt a lot, but it's also going to clean the wound and help dull your sense, alright? I need to stitch this up and this is the best way to numb your pain.
Rumi nods with tears in her eyes, drinking the alcohol. With her demon heritage, it would burn off quickly enough to not give her alcohol poisoning, but it still tasted like shit and burned her wounds, making her choke and sputter a little at first before she finally managed to drink some. The effects were near instant, and Celine didn't waste any time getting the needle and thread ready.
Now... Try not to bite my fingers off.
Celine stabs the needle into Rumi to start the stitching. Even with her senses numbed, it hurt like hell, and Rumi gripped tightly on Celine's shirt with one hand, crying out in pain.
Once Mira is satisfied that Zoey's taken care of to the best of her ability, she slumps against the wall next to her, one wing maneuvered to drape over her shoulders. Celine... Might kill them for what Zoey did to Rumi. But neither of them are exactly in a state to fight back at the moment. It won't matter whether they fight back or hide, Celine has been killing their kind for decades.
After a few painful minutes of stitching and doing her best to bandage the wound, Celine carries Rumi out of the bathroom and into her room, gently laying her down on the bed and cleaning up before going over to Mira and Zoey, glaring hard between the two demons.
Mira glares right back with her good eye, fatigue and pain evident. Already, blood is starting to seep through the shoddily applied bandages. She manages to get a few words out, voice raspy and weak.
We... didn't wanna... hurt her... She lost... Control... Was self... Defense....
Well, now she'll be lucky if she talks again, let alone sings. How the hell did she lose control to the point you thought doing that to her was necessary?!?!
Zoey slowly lifted her head, letting out a soft hiss of pain. She can still move her hand thankfully, but the fact it was her own weapon meant it probably wouldn't heal anytime soon.
...my fault.. don't... don't get mad at her...
You'd better give me an excellent reason not to cut the two of you down right now, considering the only reason I've let you live so far was because you protected Rumi, not hurt her.
z-zoey's instincts acted up... Wasn't safe f'r her t'be 'round her...
Mira grits out, despite the fact that it looks like every word agitates her wounds further.
Tried t'mediate... make sure both w're ok... wasn't 'nough. Don't know why sh'lost control. Zo was protectin' me.
She coughs, spitting out another mouthful of blood. Her bandages are nearly soaked through.
Celine sighs and rubs her forehead.
So now Rumi might never be able to sing again because none of you thought to call me to help deal with her emotions? Did you not think to call me when my daughter was depressed? Did you not think I could have prevented this?!
Mira winces, too tired to fight back like she usually would.
...did. wasn't sure... Fault's 'n fears...
Celine sighs and crouches down.
That's for the public, not for between us, stupid girl. Now hold still.
Celine checks Mira's bandages, taking out the medical kit and more properly applying bandages and stitches.
I'm going to check your eye for a moment. Apologies if it hurts.
Celine gently opens Mira's eyes and nearly gags, stumbing back a little.
Mira flinches, hard. The usually stoic harpy just looks scared now. Their mentor is unshakable, she's treated injuries from both training and hunts without so much as flinching. For her to react like this...
There's... There's no easy way to say this. Mira, your eye is... gone. Completely
Mira freezes. She can't breathe. Even demonic healing can't fix that. If her eye is gone... She can't balance. She can't fight. She can't dance. All of the reasons Celine let her live are gone. If she can't perform, much less hunt, why should she even be here? She'll just burden them, any semblance of usefulness is gone. She can't breathe. Celine might still be talking, but she can't hear anything over the ringing in her ears.
Mira!
Celine grabs Mira's shoulders hoping to shake her out of it.
She flinches again, bringing her arms up defensively like she's expecting a blow. Her good eye is wild with fear.
Don'hurt me don't hurt me please I can help I can help I can b'useful I c'n help please-
She mutters under her breath, still struggling to breathe.
Zoey leaned her head against the wall, blankly glancing around the room like everything was normal. She's done all she could after causing all of this. It only sounded fair that the reason any of this happened should be eliminated. She's the one who drove Rumi to transform in the first place. She didn't have it in her to react anymore. Just accepting it all.
Mira, Mira. Calm down. No one is going to hurt you, understand? The fight's over, that's it. No more getting hurt. Just breathe.
Celine gently holds Mira's head, forcing her to try and calm down.
It takes a couple minutes for Mira's eye to even focus on her. But the pressure and guidance seem to help a little, and eventually she's no longer hyperventilating. The frantic words have stopped, and now she sits quietly, looking up at Celine.
...S-sorry, i-
Don't apologize. Do not apologize. Do not think that all you are worth is being useful, understand? I know... I know what I said. But I was angry. You are worth more than just protecting Rumi. Because you make her happy. And you make me happy because it's like I have two more daughter of my own, alright? So please, just breathe.
And so she does. And if a tear slips from her good eye, if her shoulders start to tremble and her lips press together, she doesn't say anything.
Celine gently wipes any tears from Mira's eye. She's silent for a moment but can't hold back forever.
Mira... Did... Did anyone... Hit you? And not in fights. Just because you... "Misbehaved."
...does it... matter right now? Zoey needs stitches too.
She glances away, mask already slipping back into place.
Don't. I can listen to you and stitch her up but I need to know, Mira.
...
...Yeah. they did.
The words are quiet. A simple admission. But it explains an incredible amount about the woman in front of Celine. Her single minded determination, the way she'd practice until she collapsed or got something right. The way she was always checking up on her girls, the way she often took the fall for things Celine knew weren't her fault. She's always been on guard, protective, closed off. But there's a good reason for it.
Celine doesn't say a word, just pulling Mira into a gentle hug.
She stiffens, initially. Tensing for the pain that's sure to follow. But when it doesn't come... She melts. Wings sagging, eye watering again. Some small part of her screeches about how pathetic she is. An even smaller part wants to believe that Celine really isn't going to hurt her. Most of her doesn't care either way. She just wants a hug.
I want you to listen very carefully to me, Mira. You. Didn't. Deserve. It.
A shudder runs through her body, and whatever semblance of a front she has crumbles. Her shoulders shake with repressed emotion. She doesn't want to cry but she's exhausted, and worried, and god damnit, she's scared. Terrified of what life's going to look like after this.
I want you to try and repeat after me, Mira. "I don't deserve to hurt for mistakes."
I don't... I don't deserve-
Her voice cracks.
To hurt. For my mistakes.
"I deserve to be loved, even if I make mistakes."
i deserve to- to be loved, even if I... Even if I make mistakes.
She sniffles.
"I deserve forgiveness even if I hurt-"
Celine suddenly chokes up, and suddenly it's obvious how personal these words of affirmation are.
"-even if I hurt the woman I... I love on accident."
Celine has to swallow back her own sob, blinking away tears.
Mira glances up for a moment, and hugs her tighter. For her own sake and Celine's. Her own hand snakes back to find Zoey's before she continues.
I deserve forgiveness. Even if I... If I hurt the woman I love on accident.
Celine nods and gently squeezes Mira, shifting so she can check on Zoey.
Zoey's staring at her injured hand, the only shown emotion are tears gathering in her eyes. She almost wants to rip the bandages off, let it continue to bleed. The two main injuries she sustained felt too similar and too different at the same time. Stabbed her own hand to save the person she loves. Ripped out her own horn to hurt the person she loves and save herself. Her remaining horn had already fully formed, the other side an uncomfortable reminder. And it would stay like that until it grew back. Unless. . .
Zoey reached a shaky hand up to her remaining horn.
Celine grabs Zoey's wrist firmly.
Don't you dare. So help me, I will tie you up if you so much as think about doing something to hurt yourself.
I hurt Rumi. I got Mira hurt. It's all my fault.
Zoey, so help me, I'll make you do the affirmations too.
And I don't get why everyone is trying to act like it's not my fault. I caused her to transform. I ripped out my horn to stab her. Affirmations aren't going to fix shit, Celine.
And I... I led the demon that killed Rumi's mother to the compound. So don't act like I don't know about blaming oneself for forces outside our control. The difference is I... I let it destroy what I had with the people I loved. I won't let you do the same.
If I tried hard enough I could've prevented this. I could've prevented even needing to defend Mira, I could've prevented hurting Rumi. But I didn't try hard enough. I don't want your empathy.
... I tell myself that every year, on Rumi's birthday which... Which is the same night I lost Mi-Yeong and Tae-Hee. This isn't empathy because I feel bad for you, Zoey. This is... This is empathy because I've been you.
This is the second time now that someone has compared what they went through to what I did. And honestly? It doesn't fucking help believe it or not. I don't care the reason your trying to empathize with me. I don't fucking want it.
Which.
Is why.
I'm going to do.
This.
Zoey yanks her wrist out of Celine's grip and grabs onto her horn, tugging on it until it stings and bleeds. The pain makes her lose most the force mid-way, leaving it still partially connected. She lets out a brief roar that settles into a growl, yanking the rest of it off.
Mira reaches for Zoey, but it's already too late.
Zoey! What the fuck!
There... now.. they match...
Zoey sighs, holding the bloody horn in her hand. It hurt like hell. And there was no active fight this time to distract her from the pain.
Dammit Zoey!
Celine wastes no time taking out the kit and starting to patch up what she can.
Zoey doesn't resist further, letting her hand drop to her side. Still loosely holding the horn, she gives an out of place chuckle at her own audacity.
...do me a favor.. and make sure Rumi doesn't see me like this..? I don't.. want her to worry...
Just shut up and focus on not... Bleeeding out or something. Besides I... Think we missed that opportunity.
Celine glances up as she sees Rumi peeking around the corner, tearing up at the sight of Zoey.
