INTRODUCING THEO WOODS...
BIOGRAPHY ✧ FACT SHEET ✧ PLOTS ✧ MUSINGS
Orion had a few hours to spare, a coworker had texted him asking if he could cover his shift for the last three hours since they had a doctors appointment and the male agreed. Orion did not have any real plans especially since some of his friends were busy. "Hey Theo...." he replied with a smile on his face as he carried a few boys in his hands after the other caught his attention. "Just...for a few...hours," he added with a smile. "Sure....what book are you...looking for?" @theo--woods
As an avid reader, Theo enjoyed spending hours at a time getting lost in a book. Even more so in a bookstore. There was something relaxing about being surrounded by stacks and stacks of books. Theo returned the other's smile, thinking for a second about his question. "Honestly? I'm not sure. Do you have any recs? The last book I read was a Bill Bryson book so maybe something that's not in that wheelhouse. Got anything that's science-fiction? Or maybe even something that's related to space? Fiction or otherwise. Kind of in a mood like that, I think." @orionxblakewood
Hearing what the other said he smiled a moment. He sometimes was really amazed at others lives. That he had it hard for so many years, it made him feel like others living a good life was so wild to him. When he was acting as a kid he was working a lot but he had a good house over his head and everything he wanted. But that all ended soon as he turned eighteen. "That's very cool I've always wanted to travel like that" but he never had the chance. He pretty much had to hitch rides here from LA. It wasn't easy and he did a lot of things to get people to help him go places. He smiled a Theo for a moment "Even more now that I have a solid place in this world I can make extra food I will" in case he ran into someone that did need it. "Burgers and pizzas are both the hardest for me to think of giving up" mostly since vegan cheese wasn't the best yet. Half the time it didn't melt and if it did it didn't taste that great. "I am working on getting back on it tho" slowly cutting more out of it. "I just talking to my sister about it too" he chuckled a moment. "Its really good" he knew not everyone could have peanuts so he did try to use it. "So if you need more later just ask" he smiled as he finished up his own food. "I am glad you liked it" he was worried the other wouldn't. "But it's one I looked up and really like" he smiled he had ate the same as Theo. He took a drink of his water and started to clean up, putting any trash into a small bag before packing it away into his backpack. "You ready to keep walking or do you want to head back?" he was up for both. @theo--woods
Theo loved talking to people, especially learning about their backgrounds or where they came from. It made him learn all about different perspectives and cultures. And it made him realize just how lucky he was. He knew that not everyone had the chance to do and see everything he did, but it also made him appreciate it a lot more. "Hey, maybe we could go on a road trip together sometime. Get to go on way cooler hikes or something. I bet you'd like the trails out in Big Sur." Theo stated as he daydreamed about it. Granted, he hadn't been on a true vacation in years but it'd be fun nonetheless. He smiled as he listened to River, shooting him a smile. "That's always good. You never know who might need something." Giving him a nod, he laughed. "Yeah, it's not the best. I like smothering it in pizza sauce so you can't taste it." Burgers were still a hit or miss for him considering most of them were made of beans. "Maybe you can try to make a certain day a vegan day, you know? Start slowly and see if you can add more days to it." It was gradual for Theo as well, and before he knew it, he just completely cut out anything with meat an dairy. He nodded in agreement, "will do." Theo replied, putting away his scraps back into his backpack to throw away later. "You'll have to send me the recipe later! I enjoyed it," Theo said, stretching out before looking back at the other. "Mhm, I'd say keep walking but this lunch has me in a food coma," he chuckled. "I'm ready to go back if you are." @riverxjackson
Today Courtney had decided that she'd take the whole day to clean up the trailer. With her husband being away, she didn't have much else to do except clean, walk the dog, and maybe do some drawing. Otherwise she was bored out of her mind. Deciding to tackle the bathroom first, she went about cleaning that while she had some music playing and Seymour lounged on the small couch in the living room.
She was just about finished with the bathroom when she heard a knock on the door. Seymour, the loveable guard dog who probably wouldn't be very good at his job barked at the door. Shutting off the music and taking off the rubber gloves she had been wearing. She walked to open the door. "Hey!" She said as she opened the door to see Theo, using her leg to block Seymour from running out. "How's it going? @theo--woods
A smile moved across his face as Courtney opened up her door, watching as Seymour was just behind her. "Nice to see you!" he laughed, waving at the dog before looking back up. "And I guess it's nice to see you too," he spoke, giving her a wink. He was such a dog person, he couldn't help it. "I didn't catch you at a bad time, did I?" Theo asked, noticing that she looked like she was in the middle of doing errands. "I was just wondering if you could help me for an hour or two. I'll make you lunch in return." @courtneyxblake

Theo could hear the bell chime on the door as he stepped inside the bakery. It'd been a few weeks since he last indulged in something sweet, so he decided now was better than ever to sweet what was new on the menu. Theo tiled his head toward the menu, eyes scanning over the specials and the staples. Being vegan, he liked that Seaside Sweets offered a pretty good variety of options. As he waited in line, he decided to make small talk with someone else who was near him. "Got any favorites? I quite like their oatmeal raisin cookies." @lancexbrowne

Theo was always someone who was looking for the next thrill. Whether that was going on a spontaneous road trip with a few friends or deciding to learn a new magic trick, he was always looking for some kind of fun. This time, he decided to throw some axes around, seeing if he could make it hit the target. The instructor was explaining the last of the safety precautions and Theo was listening intently, making a mental note of it all. Leaning in a little bit, Theo whispered to the other. "Have you ever done this before? I've never have, but this looks pretty cool." @counselorapollo
He nodded with a smile on his lips. "Right? I love being out in nature i always have" he loved it since he was young and it grew for the years he lived outside. "That's normally the good part all the work leads to something so amazing" this time was a great view. He had hiked to waterfalls, and lakes that were long and hard but in the end worth it. He chuckled "I over did it sorry" he chuckled as he handed some items over to his friend. He nodded as he took a bite of his own. " I am sort of half and half vegan I will eat it and want to get back into it fully" but it was a lot of changes and work to do that. "I was trying to be vegan before but when I was homeless you cant be picky with your food" he would eat whatever he had. But sometimes, vegetables or fruit can be cheap. "This peanut butter and jelly one isn't really... that it's almond butter and jelly" he said with a grin. "The veggie one is a smashed Chickpea and Avocado Salad Sandwich" something he had read about online. @theo--woods
"For the first years of my life, I got to travel all across the country. Been to so many cities, small towns, even got to cross the border to Canada once. But I've always loved whenever we got to go to a National Park or somewhere with great views, not polluted by bright lights and loud sounds." Theo mentioned, taking another bite of the sandwich once he was done talking. He nodded his head in agreement with the other. "Definitely earned it," he laughed before waving him off. "Nah, don't be sorry. I've learned over the years that it's better to be over packed than under." There weren't enough fingers to count how many times Theo had forgotten to pack something. "I started in high school. Saw a documentary and that changed my perspective. I won't lie and say I don't miss the taste of a nice and juicy cheeseburger, but I've found a lot of good alternates." Theo listened to River, understanding where he was coming from. "I get that. I know that it isn't feasible for everyone to be a vegan." Which he couldn't judge anyone for. "An almond butter and jelly sandwich, that's a new one for me! Bet it's delicious," Theo finished off his sandwich, wiping off anything that was left on his lips, "but not as good as this one." @riverxjackson

Even Aliye couldn't explain what had prompted her belief that she could build her own house, but she still firmly was holding on to the idea that she could do just that. Staring at the wires in front of her at the hardware store, there wasn't a single intelligent thought in her mind as to which wires she actually needed. Her head turned towards Theo with a pleading look, knowing that he would know exactly what she was looking for to start wiring the electrical for her outdoor kitchen area. Not, of course, that she would admit that she didn't know what she was doing. Instead, she reached to grab the first box of wires that looked like they could work. "These ones, yeah? They look like totally weather proof and...you know, thick. Gotta have that good thick wiring for the like...you know, conduction or whatever."
Theo Woods wasn't sure how he got here, but he wasn't going to back out now. If Aliye wanted to build herself a house, he was going to make sure she was doing it right. And sure, she didn't exactly have the skills needed to build a home from the ground up but Theo was determined to help her see it all the way through. Theo was next to her, eyes scanning different brands and different wires for her outdoor kitchen. When he heard her voice, he turned his head to see that she was holding up a box of wires, ones that weren't ideal for what she wanted to build. He tiled his head, hesitating. "I mean, I do think having it be waterproof would be best," he nodded his head before pointing to another type of wires that worked better. "How about these? These ones are a good, versatile choice for all your outdoor wiring needs and is made to withstand moisture, sun exposure, and dust." He grabbed the box and showed her. "Now we need to get a good conduit."
It was nice now since the weather wasn't always wet and cold that you could go out hiking. He hadn't been able to in so long so he was excited for it. That he felt better too without drinking and using over half a year he was doing much better. "Right? I love it" he smiled as he had pause next to The to enjoy the view. But it was a good spot for a break for sure. Rocks and down trees to sit on and good shade all around. "This looks good to me" he sat down his bag on rock and dug out his own water to take a drink before his lunch bag where he had some sandwiches, chips and some trail mix. "Do you want some ? I made like three for some reason" he laughed about the sandwiches. @theo--woods
"Nothing is better than getting to see how beautiful Kismet is, plus getting to breathe fresh air is great," Theo replied with a nod. Theo slumped to sit down by a large rock and took a deep breath. "And the view does make up the required effort, though," he added, looking at the direction they had come from. Theo packed himself a nice lunch, but his eyebrows perched upward when the other offered up some of what he packed. Not wanting to be rude, Theo took the offered items, giving River a smile. "Good foresight," he commented, taking another sip of his water, then going for the sandwich. A break was much needed at this point, and considering the amazing view, it was a good excuse to sit down for a moment. Theo took a sizable bite from the sandwich, wiping his face when some crumbs were leftover. "Oh wow, this sandwich is really good. Didn't know you knew how to make vegan sandwiches."

Theo's eyes followed the rows of books lining the shelves, pulling out a number of titles and flicking through them, but feeling unimpressed with the summaries. Nothing was catching his eye and he was in desperate need of reading something new. Plus, it didn't help that he wasn't set on the genre he wanted to explore. Unsatisfied, he left the aisle in search for an employee of the bookstore. A smile graced his features when he saw a familiar face, a hand raising to catch the other's attention. "Hey! Didn't know you were working today. Do you think you have a minute to help me find something?" @orionxblakewood

If Theo was being honest, he was excited to go hiking again. It'd been awhile since he'd been able to pack a backpack and head up the trails, but it was even better when he got to do it with someone else. "Can't beat this view, yeah?" he asked River, head turning to the other before moving back over the scenery to take in the views. They were on top of a hill, a few big rocks scattered near the trail. Trees made the sun shaded, allowing them to cool off a bit. Theo grabbed his water bottle from his bag and unscrewed the cap, taking a few sips. "Do you think this is a good spot for lunch?" @riverxjackson

There wasn't much to dislike about the trailer park Theo had spent the last five years living in. Rent tended to stay relatively cheap, the neighbors were nice enough, and he had everything he needed. He liked his one-bedroom mobile home, with a decent sized kitchen, a working bathroom, and a little porch off the living room. It wasn't much, which had always been ideal to him. But the one thing he couldn't stand was not having HVAC.
Now that summer was quickly rolling around, it meant that the temperatures were starting to heat up and the fan in Theo's bedroom just wouldn't cut it anymore. After looking around, Theo was able to get a great window unit air conditioner. Needing an extra pair of hands to help him install his new AC in his bedroom window, he decided to knock on the door of a familiar face, hoping she had an hour to two to spare. @courtneyxblake

Alex sits at the table, holding a burrito in his hand. "I don't know how you didn't bring me here months ago." He muffles with a mouth full of food. "How the hell did I go this long without eating one of these?" It was the fact he was a picky eater, there was nothing he hated more than trying new foods. This should be a sign for him to realize that he should probably start being more open about eating new things. "I'll never doubt you again."
"Am I ever wrong?" Theo winked at the other, sitting back in his chair as he took another bite of his breakfast burrito. His version was vegan, taking on the diet a few years ago for ethical reasons. The Early Bird was one of the only places that offered more than two vegan options, and it was always his pick to take friends whenever they made plans. "Serves you right. Besides, do you think I'd bring you anywhere that'd be anything less than worthy of your time?"
