Oh, I totally believe ya, some of the most badass hunters I've met in town are wardens, I just meant you guys also seem to be very into books and research and... sheets, probs. [pm] Mostly south! In & around LA type of thing. I spent a weekend in San Francisco like two years ago, though. Maybe! It was...weird going from high school to college I think I was pretty annoying...sometimes I still am I was a bit of nerd haha. You can certainly try!

Yep! Keeping the public perception that Wicked is just normal weird and not supernaturally weird is what I'm focusing on mostly. I'm getting the sense that it's going to be a ride; that's for sure.

I'm pretty sure you can't be a hunter and not know Eve, it's like, almost impossible. She's the backbone of the hunter community. Having a low profile is probably the best for you as a whistler slash journalist, tbh. But come on, not everything has to be business, what about pleasure? Maybe in Wicked? But I don't know about elsewhere. Yeah definitely! I've worked with her before on Whistler cases, but this is my first time working long-term with her, and she's great. Haha, yeah exactly. I've visited the bars! Like you said, hands-on research. Gotta come off as someone who knows their way around rather then a random stranger.

[pm] Absolutely. I don't know. I don't think being this close to this much supernatural is good for us. I totally get that it's inevitable that some people make friends with shifters or fae, or whatever, but a lot of people are letting that cloud their judgement. And then some people are acting completely outside of their remit, getting involved in things no hunter should ever have a decision on. There's a lot I can swallow (hehe), I get everyone has a different relationship to hunting, and it's not my place to tell anyone who to hunt and not hunt when I don't hunt myself, but god, there are some awful choices being made out here. We at least have to trust each other with the basics.

[pm] Ah, yeah, I could definitely see this being a situation where hunters end up making connections with supernaturals who aren't the kind they are hunting. Which I get, since they can be a good source of information, and the last thing you want is to make someone you're not hunting afraid of you; however! I feel like it's better to have that connection somewhere you aren't staying long. You don't want to have long-lasting connections with supernatural creatures. It's just asking for trouble.

I forgot you don't hunt Do you judge the the ones who do Hate seeing bad choices be made, hopefully when it backfires it only affects a few and not a lot. Anything I should be aware of?

Well, don't discredit the poor souls just waiting for someone to change their lives. Never know what you might discover when you help someone shy blossom, after all, they managed to bring themselves somewhere they might be found. We can't all be chasers, that would make the chase less fun. Is that so? Well, they'll figure out I'm devilishly handsome all on their own and if you make up a story about my talents in bed, they'll just think we're looking for a third. But I do have plenty of very real, very interesting stories I could share with you beforehand if you're really eager to tell them for me. Not for the purposes of a wedding, mind you.

It actually has more to do with, like, how many neurons the brain has and can control than the size. If that makes sense. So, for instance, rats are super intelligent! Smarter than dogs. Pigs are some of the smartest animals out there, while ants aren't seen to be all that bright. When looking at anything that's not human, it can be a bit harder to figure out the other forms of intelligence that can show up. [user links several papers]. People way smarter than me have done a lot of research
