Bernie Sanders perfectly sums up why elites love apathetic voters
REGISTER! VOTE!
And why every apathetic voter who thinks they are making some sort of statement by not voting is actually supporting the very people they think they are making a statement against.
Seriously, you have to participate.

Fan art for zdarsky new book Kaptara which you should, if you’re not already, be reading! Remember all of those 80′s cartoons that were created just to sell action figures? He-Man? Thundercats? The Smurfs? Well this comic skewers all of those cartoons in a loving parody. If you haven’t read Sex Criminals or Howard the Duck (and WHY NOT?) then I feel as if I need to tell you that Chip Zdarsky is a funny funny man. His dry sarcastic wit is perfect for this type of book. He places references to the source material on the sly and if you get it, bonus, and if you do not it doesn’t take away from your enjoyment of the book. The story is the exact kind of goofball scenario that popped up in so many of those old cartoons, go on a trek to stop the main villain but with Chip’s personal touch add (he charges extra for the personal touches at cons so get them for free when you can). All that and I haven’t even talked about the amazing artwork by Kagan McLeod yet! Chip is an artist himself so he knows greatness when he sees it and he could not have selected a better creative partner for this book, Kagan brings it every issue. The book is fantastic and I don’t want to give too much away but you should buy it and that’s all there is to it. As far as the fan art……In issue #3 we are introduces to the Glomps, sort of like the Smurfs if they had been raised by Rush Limbaugh (you can already feel the funny right?). I wanted to draw some fan art to sent to Chip and Kagan for their letters page but my search for Glomp images resulted only in scores of anime characters leaping onto one another. Apparently (at least according to Urban Dictionary) the word glomp is used in anime circles to describe just such an activity between characters (see the definition above). I have no idea if this is where Chip and Kagan got the name but it gave me the idea to have their characters the Glomps glomping one another. They may be happier in this picture than they were in the entire issue in which they appeared. Maybe they need to do more glomping and less listening to Bill O’Reilly on the radio. Anyway, it’s a great book that you should be reading if you like fun. If you do not then turn on some conservative talk radio and go glomp yourself.
