Willow ripped her eyes from the TV when her companion called for attention, distractedly she took a sip of her drink before tilting her head and smiling at him. âWhen have I ever let you down.â The brunette said raising only one eyebrow. âWhat should we do? play pool? Or we could get out of here all together, get some food?â She suggested.
Theo opened his mouth to retort but nothing came out. He didn't have an answer for her rhetorical or not question. âI don't know,â he replied, shrugging the thought away. In the absence of his words, Theo just stared at the woman as a hand settled on the back of her bar stool. Then, after another short pause, he finally spoke once more. âPie. I want pie.â
alexambrosias:
âHow distracted are we talking, though?â he asked, trying not to sound too suggestive, though that wouldnât have been far from his intentions. He wasnât sure which way this guy swung, anyway.Â
âI was hoping for blackout drunk, but my pockets aren't deep enough for that,â Theo grumbled. He had already blown that month's wages over the course of the week and now he was lingering in the danger zone with a sober mind -- a combination that was always lethal when it came to Theo. âThe fucking thing should've stayed away till pay day,â he threw a hand up at the television, as if motioning the fact that the tragedy that was the house fire was just downright rude for disrupting his week.
callieriivers:
Callie took a moment to see how wound up he was, her gaze moving between him and the images on the television screen and then back to him, and let out a soft sigh. âYou know, the best distraction I can give you is a promise to get out of here,â she whispered. She had no idea if that was what he wanted, but Callie already downed a bottle of beer, and felt herself loosen up more throughout the night. âIf not, I can just sit here and give you some random and probably really sleazy pick up lines.â
Theo reached up and pinched the bridge of his nose before finally forcing himself to focus on the blonde. It was like a weight had been added and he couldn't shift it. âThat depends, how sleazy are we talking?â he mumbled in question. âGive me a preview? If it's terrible we leave. If it's good we stay and drink some more.â
âI'll buy your next round if you distract me right now,â Theo muttered to the person beside him as he shifted on the bar stool he had perched on for the last hour or two. His knuckles had turned white from grasping his pint glass too tightly as a news story about a house fire played out on the television screen above the bar. He had tried not to pay any attention to it yet here he was, constantly drawn back to the images of red flames licking the sky. âHell, Iâll buy them for a fucking week. Please.â
Theo was not a patient man. Never had been. So when his phone wouldn't connect to any form of signal he found himself throwing it full force against the nearest wall. It had completely escaped his notice that a woman was passing by at the time, though he eventually did notice her as the remnants of an iPhone crashed to the ground. âDon't bother being pissy with me, it's not my fault you walked in that direction.â He should have apologised, but Theo was too pissed off to care in that particular moment. âShowâs over.â

Isabella stepped back in surprise as a shirtless man opened the door, when she had been expecting a gussied up woman instead. Â Perhaps she had pre-gamed a bit too hard. Â âLookinâ for a cup of sugar.â she offered sarcastically. Â âIs Gabbi here?â Â In the haze of her mind Isabella hadnât quite put together the fact that she had been knocking on the wrong door, instead thinking that her friend just had a gentleman caller.
âNo, a Gabbi isnât here,â Theo grumbled, his hands moving in time with his speech out of habit. âI live alone, but thanks for the painful reminder that I do.â

It was a pretty standard run were it not for the time that she ended up trying to get to the store. She had run out of detergent and everyday she convinced herself that sheâd go and grab some more but each day she ended up not going. Now she had to because her laundry had grown and she couldnât go through the rest of the week with no clothes. But her shifts didnât understand that fact which was why she had driven like a madwoman, pulling into the nearly empty parking lot. Running to the doors, she just barely made it through before they closed. However she did notice the worker that was headed that way, maybe to close the doors for the night. She had gotten lucky. âI just need to grab one thing,â Addison began before recognizing the face of the man coming that way.Â
If it hadn't been for the fact that security cameras were a thing and the fact that he was still wearing his Target shirt, Theo would've told the woman to turn around and leave, but alas; he just sighed and folded his arms across his chest. âWhatever, Yates. Just hurry up and get what you need, I have a job to do.â
isabellacortez:
She had knocked a hundred times, although, her drunken mind could easily have been exaggerating that number. Â When were they going to open the damn door? Â She could hear them on the other side. Â âAbre la puerta, pendejo.â she called out, banging on the door with her fist once more.
If it hadn't been for the fact that he had caught the shadows moving under the door crack Theo would have probably gone back to bed without even realising that someone was knocking on his door, but his neighbours would most likely be happy that he finally opened the door so that the knocking would stop. Shirtless and annoyed, the middle Devereaux looked at her. âWhat do you want?â
