This dataset shows the sales interaction with profit in a supermarket located in some regions in the United States. We see the cities and states where it is located. Also, we see various shipping mode and categories of goods sold which is further shown in sub categories.

Regional sales performance
Region with the highest total sales: West - 725,457.82
Region with the lowest total sales: South - 91,721.91
Interpretation: The West region shows significant sales, indicating a strong market presence.
Region with the highest total profit: West - 108,418.45
Region with the lowest total profit: Central - 39,706.36
Interpretation: The west region generates considerable profit seeing its sales performance. Although the South region has the lowest volume of sales, the Central region seems to generate the lowest profit.
Shipping mode Analysis
Most selected ship mode based on total sales – Standard
Interpretation: This shows people chose the more economical shipping more that isn’t expensive but moderate in pricing.
Category Analysis
Category with the highest sales: Technology – 836,154.03
Category with the lowest sales: Office Supplies – 719,047.03
Interpretation: Technology category appears to have high sales compared to the other categories.
Discount Analysis
Average discount for all transactions: 15.62%
Interpretation: Discounts ranges were on the low side
Recommendations
Focus on the West Region: Enhance marketing and sales strategies in the West region to capitalize on its high sales performance.
Leverage Popular Products: Increase inventory and promotional efforts for goods in the technology category to maximize revenue or profit.
