This doesn't happen in the fic, they don't do yoga together. But I was thinking about the time Stedeth allows himself to feel pleasure in the river and to enjoy his body. And how Ed doesn't seem to believe he'll live to old age. And just the idea of doing yoga, or stretching, being gentle and investing in soft slow care and not doing something so that you'll be "battle ready" but to just say hello to your body....

I hope they get that.

your email found me at the grocery store irl. that's crazy that you gave it little legs and everything. it walked right up to me. everyone was so scared one person screamed when i picked it up. i said it's okay you just do this kind of thing sometimes. while i was reading, its little legs were just sort of dangling in the air. someone asked me if it's alive and if holding it like that made it uncomfortable. i told them idk i just get the emails i don't send them.

Finally watched "the night of". I did like it, but hoo boy it was hard, I felt like it was almost torture porn at some points, just watching Nas fall farther and farther, his rights violated over and over. I think I need a little more hope or light balanced with that stuff.

Also we got a lot of really great peeks into everyone's inner world, from his mom and dad and Freddy to of course Stone, but I really wish we'd had a lot more about Chandra because that came out of nowhere?? To me anyway. I feel like we got more insight into Box and Mrs Weiss than Chandra!!!
