I love how Warframe treats some of the wildest elements of its premise as completely unremarkable. A lesser game would never shut the fuck up about how badass it is that you're a space ninja. Warframe is like "yeah yeah yeah we know you're a space ninja, what's important right now is restoring the local wetlands."

Warframe is fundamentally a game about ecological conservation in which you happen to play a biomechanical space killerfreak.

There’s like a million definitions on what Warframe is but idc constellations has solidified my take

Warframe is a game about love.

You have your obvious examples like your romantic love between your drifter and their partner if you go that route or Sorren and Jade. You got parental love with the aforementioned with Sirius and Orion and Lotus with the Tenno.

But even beyond the obvious you have things like Fortuna/Vox Solaris that at least says to me the idea of love for the common people around you. I don’t know what the fancy term is for the love between a traumatised child/adult and their biomechanical steelskin infested fleshsuit but that’s clearly in there too

Aaa idk it just feels like everywhere you go in this game you find the sentiment of “Things are bad but things can improve and we will love you through it and beyond” and I think it’s really sweet

There’s probably more examples but I’m shooting from the hip

One like nitpick thing that drives me crazy is when people call Blue Whales the largest whales or the largest living mammals or some shit like that

Because yes that is true. But when you frame it like that you are completely disregarding the absolutely batshit reality that Blue Whales are the largest animals that have ever existed on earth through the entire history of the planet and they are alive right now today

My Destiny journey started alone, and after years of meeting people, joining clans and planning raids, that's also, strangely, how it ended.

However, Destiny has saved me in so many ways. It's a game that has helped me consistently over the years, and has shaped the person and the artist I am today. Through the community I've met amazing people I can now call my friends. And for this, I am grateful 🤍
