it'd be really funny to me if an extremely intimate part of the eridian mating process is cohabitating together, esp if they mate for life. bc rocky would return home with the knowledge that he's basically married to this guy and everyone he knows would see it that way as well, and grace Would Not Understand this, at least not right off the bat. i mean one must imagine there were some Charged encounters on the Mary (how does one privately jerk off when their roommate can hear like literally everything lol) but he's fully convinced they're just roommates with some awkward bits thrown in. meanwhile rocky is sweating like. fuck. there's no going back. he watched me eat and we lived together for 16 years. i have to introduce this guy to my family. i have to do a bunch of other courting customs to seal the deal. i have to make sure he and adrian get along. and what is the media going to think when they find out he's only in his 40s. oh my god i'm going to jail
