Alexei hadnât realized just how much he missed the stage until he was back on it. Even if his return was under strange circumstances and nobody in this world actually knew him, he planned to give it his all just like heâd always done. He could hear the audience beyond the curtain and was delighted to find that there seemed to be quite the crowd. Although, he knew it was less to do with the performance itself and more to do with the fact it was a human doing it. The creatures here were curious about such a thing and wanted to watch him like one might watch an exotic animal in a cage back in his world.
Still, heâd give them the best show so that they could shower him with tips. They needed to draw more customers as well as returning ones, so heâd do everything he could to make sure he was remembered.
As the music, the curtain lifted, Alexei felt himself slip back into his old stage persona as he was hit with a spotlight. It had been too long and the giddiness was creeping up on him. The only challenge he knew heâd face was acting flirtatious with creatures that scared him, but he would do it. Anything to prove that he was someone to pay attention to and continuously come back for.
Seductive glances over a new fan that matched the look of this new world he was now to live in, he began his bewitching dance for the gathered patrons. He couldnât allow himself to be afraid. They werenât here to hurt or mock him. They were here because they were interested in him. Alexei could use that to his advantage as his body moved; each movement like his limbs were made of liquid. Each action was meant to tantalize and draw the audience in, inviting them to keep their eyes on only him. Somewhere, Fang was watching to ensure that everything ran smoothly and safely. Alexei had to trust him to be there if anything went wrong.
Fang was watching. How could he not? He himself had been anticipating Alexei's first official performance since he had brought him here.
He was in the middle of the crowd, in admittedly one of the best viewing spots there. He would have been closer to the stage, sure, but he needed to keep an eye on the patrons.
As much as he wanted to watch the show, it was more important to him to make sure his human was safe. Fortunately, no one dared to do anything unsavory throughout the dance. Fang was relieved, and more than that, proud of their success. The crowd erupted into applause and shouts for encore.
Fang now nodded to the musicians they had hired, then moved to stand. On the crook of his arm dangled a single cloth bag. As Alexei began his dance again, Fang moved around to collect tips. It was to discourage the patrons from excitedly throwing bones upon the stage; he didn't want Alexei to slip or hurt himself.

This was quite stressful, but Elias could understand what Janet was saying. It would be better for more people to be aware of what they were dealing with and by doing that, they had to make people take notice. By drawing them in and acting like a cute, viral coupleâŚ
He looked at Aidan.
If doing this could help save the cemetery, help the community, and boost Aidanâs popularity, then it seemed like their best bet. He wondered if Aidan was embarrassed. It wasnât lost on him that this was awkward, especially after their encounter in the supermarket that one time. Not that it had been anything against Aidan - it was all Elias. It was his issues that had stopped him from accepting that invitation to dinner. Of course, Aidan wouldnât know about any of that. Elias could understand why he wouldnât want to do this.
âIâll do it,â He nodded. ââŚBut only if Aidanâs on board with it, too.â He didnât want there to be any forcing or guilt-tripping here.
This canât be happening. Elias, you were my only hope for sanity.Â
Now Janet was making him second guess his own initial decisions. He couldnât deny that at this rate, they wouldnât win this fight for the graveyard. No amount of polite handshakes and informative pamphlets would change the minds of struggling families who needed money now.Â
When it came down to the city voting, if nobody was on their side and those affected wouldnât put up a fight, the campaign would be a failure. If they didnât do this now, theyâd just be throwing money away...
âFine. We can lean into this, but I donât want it to pull away from the issue at hand.â He looked at Janet. âAnd you do realize that a number of people will vote against the proposition just because of my sexuality, too, right?â
âWeâre still a blue state, Aidan,â Janet shot off finger guns. âI ran the numbers. If we can get the young adults to support us, weâll still win against all the curmudgeons. Itâll be fine, I promise. Iâll call up my girl at Channel 32 and make sure she brings up the rumors in your press conference this weekend. That way you can address it directly and get the ball rolling.â
âFine,â Aidan repeated, shaking his head. âJust no losing sight of the goal.â Looking and feeling five years older, he looked towards Elias. âI appreciate your cooperation, Elias. I do. Weâll figure out our story and discuss boundaries and doâs and dontâs as soon as possible. I promise to make this as little a headache as possible for you.â
On top of being a lie, this was a strange, awkward punch in the gut. Elias had already said he wasnât interested, so it was almost like Aidan was blackmailing him into dating him now. Augh.

Having Sirius accept that he could be part of this family made Remus feel all smitten. He had no choice but to fall into his boyfriendâs arms and pressing their lips together. He liked him so much and wanted to be with him properly when they graduated. It wasnât anything theyâd spoken about, but he wondered if Sirius would want to make it more official once they were out of school.
Pulling back after a few moments, Remus cupped Siriusâ face and looked at him. Just looked. How was it possible that he was getting more handsome? He could only imagine what heâd look like when he was in his twenties. He smiled and ran his fingers through those dark locks.
âIâm irritated by how good you look.â But he was going to fully enjoy it before his dad called them for snacks.
âAnd Iâll only get better with age,â Sirius gave him a sympathetic look, almost as though heâd read his mind, but then he kissed Remus again. âBut so will you. So I think weâre being equally unfair to one another, donât you think? Although, really, I see this as a win-win situation.â
He give his arse a squeeze and then moved to nibble at his earlobe.
âIâm going to make this you and your Dadâs best Christmas ever,â he decided.
psychctiicâ:
âThatâs⌠cocky. You donât even know what it is yet.â The way she spoke about it made it seem like his âlittle puzzleâ wouldnât be good enough and assuming that she would be smarter than him. He didnât know whether that was interesting or irritatingâŚ
Niragi shrugged, pushing his glasses up. âItâs done when itâs doneâŚâ He had offered her to try it more because that was how regular conversations went. Someone would offer or suggest something and the other would say it was a good idea, even though both sides had no intention of following through with it
âIt should be done before we leave, so⌠yeah. Iâll let you know.â
âYeah, I know. Iâm good at puzzles.â She was amused that he had called her out, though. He had some balls after all; or maybe he just felt more safe because she was a girl.
If she wasnât engaged, she wouldâve offered him a date if his puzzle managed to stump her. She wasnât in the mood for scandal or bullshit gossip, though, so heâd just have to potentially miss out.
Heâd miss nothing, sheâd figure out his puzzle easy.
"Iâll hold you to it. Make sure the puzzleâs extra hard.â She tapped on his notebook, but otherwise didnât mess with him. Then she left him to his work.
When they had so very little time together, Regulus found it difficult to leave Desiree alone. Although, he could tell that she didn't want him to. Even now, as she was making cookies for the cafe, Regulus couldn't help but watch her. The way she glanced over at him made him smile. It was like she was checking that he was still there. It was hard for him to stay away and the reason he brushed his hand along her arm as he rested his chin on her shoulder, looking down at her work. "You make them into shapes?" That one was a witch hat and that one was a cat! "You're way too talented, Des." He brushed his lips against her neck, breathing in that familiar scent he loved so much. He committed it to memory every visit...
"It's not as impressive as you think," Des insisted, playfully tousling his hair with one hand covered in flour.
Perhaps it was a vain attempt to get him to stay longer if he was messy.
"The shapes are mostly premade," she nodded to her cookie cutters. "Make some with me. I'll split the profits when they sell, promise."
The Wright Anything Agency is a law office and talent agency specializing in criminal law located near People Park in Los Angeles, with the nearest medical facility being the Hickfield Clinic.
Since Lenoraâs Forensics Verse also double as her Ace Attorney Verse, I have spent the past hour doing research on where Phoenix Wrightâs law offices could be located.
As seen in the top 6 images, Iâve roughly headcanonâd that location would be between the Westlake and Downtown area. Since the Offices are close to People Park and the Hickfield Clinic, as well as located across the street from the Gatewater hotel.
On the map: People Park = MacArthur Park, Good Samaritan Hospital = Hickfield Clinic, and you can see from the screenshots there is an area full of law offices with hotels nearby! Plus thereâs a University (Phoenixâs Ivy University) and law school near Westlake. Itâs even close to the LAPD headquarters and on the road to the infamous Eagle Mountain, too.
Regarding Lenoraâs personal details, however â since she also works at the LAPD and takes the bus a lot, she must also be close. Taking her (initial) salary into account, I figure sheâd not want to pay more than $1500 rent. So I did some searches and found her a neat little apartment just north of Westlake, which is a 2-hour train ride to Claremont, where her mother lives and her workplace is a 15 min drive from her sisterâs place in La Feliz.

That was kind of her to suggest, but Stefan would rather stay in a shelter than to take up space here. He wouldnât do that - it would make him feel like even more of a burden. What he really needed was his own place where nobody could hold it over his head that he was relying on anyone else. He knew his mom had worked to keep them afloat, but heâd been working too. And heâd been spending that money on things for the trailer when his mom forgot. Yet, he still felt like none of that was good enough and that he was a waste of space who got in the way.
âI left in a hurry. I didnât bring much with meâŚâ Which meant that he would have to go back at some point to gather more things, but not right now. All he needed was his clothes because he didnât exactly have anything else to take. When it came to possessions, all he had that was important was his phone.
Sat on the couch, Stefan rubbed Smoochumsâ belly. He smiled a little as the dog wiggled around. Dogs made things better. When he found a way to have his own place and was hopefully comfortable enough with money, heâd get a dog, too.
âItâs okay. You can think about what to do and sort it out,â Lenora moved the TV remote over by his side and gave a wave towards it. âFeel free to watch whatever you want. Iâm going to see if I can get a hold of Aaron and see where theyâre at.â
With that, she retreated from the room. Sheâd give Phoenix a call, too.
Meanwhile, Smoochumsâ stubby little tail waggled as he laid back, basking in belly rubs.
It was only about ten minutes later that the front door opened, preceded by the muffled sounds of Izzyâs animated, loud exclamations in Spanish.Â
âSteffff!â Mom had gotten a hold of them and filled her in on the situation, albeit briefly. She was ready and raring to go. Go do what? Cry, scream, maybe punch Stefanâs mother? Who knew. She was ready. But for now, she bounded over to the couch to hug him as Smoochums ran off to greet her brothers. âHi.â
âDo you want some candy?â She was already pulling a tube of Shocktarts out of her jacket pocket and shoving it into one hand while taking his other and pull him towards the stairs. âLetâs go talk!â
investiigatorâ:
Jun-ho laughed. âNot if you donât rat on me.â He joked back before shaking his head. âNo, I mean, Iâll run to the nearest public building that has one.â The closest one was probably the next bar a block over. Heâd just dip in there, do his business, then leg it back. Yeah, it was either that or an embarrassing pissing accident right here in public.
âYou want to come with me? In a completely non-weird way.â Jun-ho lifted his jacket up, ready to hold it over his head as he dashed out into the rain. At least Miss Wu seemed to have a more fitting outfit for the weather this time. Stepping out of the line, Jun-ho headed to the door, peeking out as a car drove by and splashed the pavement with a puddle. Annoying, but nothing too terrible. It was just water, after all.
âYeah, okay!â What was she doing? Why was she agreeing? Why was she following him? It didnât matter, she was suddenly DESPERATE to recover from that embarrassing failed joke that he had been kind enough to laugh at.
She glanced towards the bathroom door one more time, REALLY hoping the guy inside would magically be okay -- but nope, there went Hottie Detective. She was dressed better for the weather this time around -- hooray for jeans and cute cardigans -- but she was still in heels, and pretty cute ones, at that. She would mourn the muddy stains on her bubblegum pink cuties, but for now there was a man to chase! Err, follow!Â
Fortunately, he didnât dart out too far or too quick, which was good because HIS legs were super long so sheâd have to sprint to keep up with his jog! As he paused to peek out, she peeked out around him.Â
This manâs a freakinâ tree, praise the Lord --
And there was the splash. Whelp. It didnât hit too much of her. The perks of being tiny!
âWhat way are we going?â she asked. It was really coming down outside!
Honestly, she didnât even have to pee that bad.
starrymusedâ:
âIâm glad they came around to it. Iâd hate it it we never met.â
Because she was now a good friend to him and it would have been a shame to lose that. Looking ahead, Regulus aimed a kick at a lump of snow that was just waiting to be kicked. A move that his mother would have scoffed at if he had done it as a child. He still recalled her chastising him for coming in fromt he garden with snow all over his new coat and soaked trousers after making Snow Creatures with Sirius. She said that he had to act less childish and more refined. He had been six.
ââŚLetâs have a snowball fight later. When weâre going back.â His cheeks were warming slightly just from that suggestion alone. It felt silly to suggest and maybe he was too old to be doing things like that now, but it sounded fun all the same.
âIâm glad, too.â For the same reason. They trugged along for only a little more before he suggested a snowball fight. Looking over at him, she grinned, âNormally people donât announce snowball fights -- they just pick them up and throw. But seeing as how Iâm so bad with the cold, I feel both targeted and appreciative for the heads up.â
âNo magic, though, all right? I need a bit of an advantage, I canât blend in with the snow like you.â
nascentgliintâ:
âA change in routine?âÂ
Though she spits the words out, theyâre punctuated by a thoughtful hum. Tâwas not a terrible sentiment and a different one than she was used to, certainly. Yotsuyu had expected little else but the things she describedâthe torment, the scoffingâbut none of it were the fault of those around her.Â
Yotsuyu listens to the womanâs idle chatter, about Eorzeaâs lack of intervention until they saw an opportunity. It was hardly a surprise. They were not unlike the Domans, who ignored the wrongdoing of their own people.Â
âI did,â she says plainly. âIf a Doman were to fall at my feet, I would still.â
She need not sugarcoat the obvious truth. It lay plainly before the warrior and a great many others, not least of all the Domans that had suffered at her hand.Â
âI have ever had a pretty face, but much like the rest of Doma, there is nothing beneath the surface but rot.âÂ
Save for the a single glimmer of something that lives far beyond that. The single sparkle of Tsuyu that was a part of her, that was similar to the few good in Doma. Like Gosetsu, that treacherous little girl reminded her, like Hien, who had sought to spare her.
âIt seems you understand well enough, yet you took a path unlike my own, did you not?â
She was not consumed by her bitterness, her hatred as Yotsuyu wasâand if she was, her strength to hide it far outweighed her own.Â
âEh, I had it easy as far as makinâ my moral decisions. My brotherâs the one tha chose the noble path. Iâm followinâ it âcause I love the feral little shite. Wouldâve been content to rot away in a fishing port the rest of my life if he hadnât gone off and ended up the chosen one. So Iâll be on whatever side heâs on, âtil the end.â
She knew Yotsuyu couldnât relate to that. Her brother had been a rotten wee fuck, and it seemed her parents had been as well. Seeing as how Yotsuyu wasnât touching her meal, Meiko reached for one of the oranges she had brought and started to peel it for herself. No need to waste food.
âGenuine question. Not mockinâ or anythinâ. Letâs say you killed all the Domans,â she waved her head slightly as if to gesture to all around them. âDid you ever plan on what you wanted after? Go back to Garlemald, live a fancy life? Iâve heard so many people go on âbout conquerinâ these folk or murderinâ this lad, and I canât help but think itâs just this all-consuminâ, like... one track sorta fate. Like when you won, you wouldnât know what the bloody hell to do with yourself. âCept die, I guess, but then what was the point if you canât gloat after?â
investiigatorâ:
â
He never understood why places only had one bathroom. While it was true that this bar wasnât all that big, it wasnât the smallest either. In front of him, there were three people already and whoever was currently occupying the bathroom was taking quite a while. Jun-ho glanced to the window. Yep, still raining buckets, so the thought of dashing out there to the nearest place with a free bathroom wasnât exactly in his plans tonight.
As someone else joined the queue â they could start a congo line at this rate â Jun-ho looked at them, then did a double-take. Ah, it was the Chiefâs daughter! Grinning, Jun-ho nodded when she met his gaze.
âMiss Wu, hey, itâs good to see you.â Although, what a strange way for them to meet again. He gestured to the line ahead.
âYeah, I donât think this line is going anywhere.â Whoever was in the bathroom must have been going through it. Poor dude. âIâm debating whether to make a run for it outside.â
Kimmy had retreated to the bathroom for Lady Purposes, and nearly bumped into who was waiting there because she was staring intently at her phone game. She had forgotten to check in and grab all her daily items! What a total newbie mistake! But concern for free diamonds and brand new cute seasonal outfits packs went flying out the window when she realized who was standing there. Talking to her.
IT WAS SUPER ULTIMATE HOTTIE DETECTIVE HWANG!
âOh my gosh -- I mean,â she started in English and quickly corrected herself in Korean. God! Bilingual problems! âHi! Hi, itâs nice to see you, too!â
Well, at least she looked cute today. She put in extra outfit around her friends from work; they were always super put together and she didnât want to look like a weird creep fungus next to them!
Realizing he had been indicating the line, she looked ahead at the door just as a groan emitted from it. It was deep and miserable and it almost gave her a stomach ache just from hearing it.
âOh wow,â she commented, eyes wide as she lowered her phone. âUmmm...â
A glance towards the front door, which was open to the street -- the muddy, miserable street.
âYouâre...isnât peeing in public against the law, Detective Hwang?â NO! NO, WAIT, WHY DID SHE SAY THAT? SHE THOUGHT THAT WAS A JOKE? THAT WAS NOT A FUNNY JOKE.
@starrymused sending filth again
"Calm down, sweet boy. You get so jealous when there's no need. You get so worked up..." That usually meant that he needed to be fucked; it was like an outlet for all those envious feelings. He parted his darling's legs and lifted him against the hotel wall with one monster arm, keeping him there. "There, there, my love. Let me remind you how much I deeply care for you..."Â
He slid himself inside his gorgeous lover, burying himself in that heat he craved. There was something about Emi that awakened the monster. It was like there was this animalistic desire to breed him, which was quite the amusing thought. Ui-Myeong smirked and licked a line up Emiyo's cheek as his monster limb began to guide him over his cock.Â
"Such a good boy..." He'd pound him back into his submissive state, marking him over again and again.
âUmi--â A gasp wracked his form as he sank down, his moan caught in his throat. He couldnât breathe. He couldnât breathe, but that wasnât Ui-Myeongâs fault -- it was his own. It was right to say he was getting worked up; it was hard to get out of his own head when a thought settled there until he spiraled.
It wasnât all bad thoughts, though. Like right now, the only thoughts in his head were of his lover and nothing else. It felt almost frantic, almost desperate -- which was why he started hyperventilating until Ui-Myeong pressed his lips to his.
He didnât even flinch at the inhuman limb anymore. After all, it was only dangerous to everyone else. And knowing that Ui-Myeong didnât need him, didnât have to protect him. Emiyo was nothing to him in comparison, and yet he treated him so gently, and took care of him --
And sure, Emiyo was jealous. That was natural. Ui-Myeong was his world and he HATED when other people looked at him like they were the same. They werenât the same. They WERENâT. Ui-Myeong was special, and they belonged to each other and no one else.
Ui-Myeong didnât mind his jealousy so much (obviously), so what did it matter? So long as he kept reacting like this, Emiyo had no reason to stop--
psychctiicâ:
âYeah.â She wasnât leaving and, in a way, that made him feel pretty good, but he also had to wonder if she was here as a lead-up to a prank. Everyone knew that girls like her didnât talk to guys like him. Anyway, apparently she was set to be engaged to someone once high school was over, so it didnât really matter in the end.
âIâm coding it in Python.â But he really wasnât sure how interesting this would be. It was one of those things that others didnât tend to ask about. Or if they did, it was only to laugh about while mocking him for being a ânerd.â What did that even mean? That title? Just because you liked to do things that used a bit more brainpower, you were considered someone who was less than others? No, he knew that wasnât the only reason. There were more factors to it and he was very well aware of what they were.
âI can show you it once itâs done.â âŚWhy did he offer that? Ugh. Stupid.
âYeah?â Python. Sheâd heard of that one. Thank god he hadnât said Unity or one of those other shitty programs that came with premade assets. âIâd like that. I bet I could solve your little puzzle no problem.â
At least he was talking, despite his discomfort. Honestly, it was a pity the numbers of life hadnât been kinder to him. If his parents had been rich, heâd have confidence, and then he wouldnât be such an easy target for others. He didnât have a bad look to him; he just kept is face covered and his head down, which made him look like prey.
Maybe when he got out of high school heâd pull himself together. A lot of people did.
âHow far away is it from being done?â They only had a few months left in their final year here. Heâd have to hurry it up.
Continued from here. - @psychctiicâ
Not finished yet, huh? Too bad. That meant she couldnât solve it. Still, Tsunade didnât leave him be. Why should she? Even if he was CLEARLY hoping she would, judging by his body language. Heâd just have to suffer through her being there a little more.
And besides, people were starting to stare -- likely because according to hormonal teenage social hiearchy, girls like her didnât talk to guys like him with genuine interest. That only egged her on to talk to him more. Teenagers were so fucking stupid (excluding herself).
âLike a video game?â She really was interested, though. Not all video games appealed to her (some were really stupid), but she could appreciate what it took to make it -- specifically, the programming part. She might have aspired to become one if financials didnt work out; she just loved statistics so much more. âWhat are you making it in?â
God if he was one of those types that just took snippets of othersâ code and didnât actually do anything himself she might toss his desk out the window.
