"Flosi, Rolfe is saying YOU had the turkey leg the last time. Is this true?"
"Of course it is."
"Then, wouldn't it be fair for him to have it this time?"
I'd rather be in outer space đ¸

*hugs Jargsa* I have to talk to you about something very important.
"You know you can speak to me about anything. What is it?"
"I remember that song. Mother hasn't sung that to any of us since Flosi was born."
"I know⌠Do you remember all of it? I canât remember half of the words from the endingâŚ"
"HÜr nu vargen yla, kallar pü sin sort Inget svar i vinden ges Hans släkte nu fÜrdrivits bort Livets trüd nu tvinnas Mü din väv bli seg och stark Ty hürda tider stundar Livets rÜtter kämpar i frusen mark"
Jargsa softly sings the last half of their mother's lullaby. She could still remember nights when she would wake from a bad dream and rush to her parents bed to snuggle in between them.
"I don't think I'll ever forget."

"He would do it. It was how he taught Hildy and I to share. If we didnât agree, the food became his." Jargsa sighed, "I could see if sheâs willing to let you have it this time. Of course, Flosi can be too strong-willed for persuasion."
"What if your argument was of something he couldnât eat- like a toy or a blanket?" Rolfe asked her curiously. "Of course she is! Its not fair if she has the last leg twice in a row! She needs to learn to share not I!"
"It would be his. I remember once, Hildy and I had a small toy bird we both wanted to play with, Father spent all day braiding a beard nest for it and kept it there for three days. It was very embarrassing." She shook her head. It was still very clear in her mind. "I'll speak with her but 'tis a good idea to find common ground with one another. Perhaps offer to trade her something for the last leg if there is to be no sharing?"
"If you two keep fighting over it, it will be Father devouring the last of the bird! If I were you, Iâd convince Flosi to share it with you. That way you both win.â
"She had it last time though! You donât think Father would actually do that? Iâve dreamt of it for a fortnight! You know how good our feasts are!â There was a minute pause. âPerhaps you would be able to convince her not to eat it?â
"He would do it. It was how he taught Hildy and I to share. If we didn't agree, the food became his." Jargsa sighed, "I could see if she's willing to let you have it this time. Of course, Flosi can be too strong-willed for persuasion."
"And where do you think youâre running off to that you canât even stop for a moment to say hello to your sister?"
"Honestly, do any of you ever slow down?"
"Tis only because Flosi thinks sheâll have the last turkey leg! I donât suppose youâdâd try to take it too!â
â.. My apologies, sister, greetings and good afternoon.â

"Honestly, Iâm quite amazed you noticed I was gone with how busy all my rambunctious siblings keep you." She teased.
She smiled. âI will always miss min blomst,â she said with a nod.
"I've missed you, as well, Mother." Jargsa closed the space between them and pulled her mother into a tight hug.
"Father....I...... I was unaware I was gone long enough for your appearance to change so..... dramatically."
"âŚJargsa? JARGSA! MY LITTLE GIRL!"
Her eyes when wide as her father barreled towards her. It was obvious there was strange magic afoot.
"WhatâŚ. what exactlyâŚ. happened?" In shock, she reached out to softly poke his face.
Volstagg sighed and hugged her anyway, âMagical-no-face-that-wears-Midgardian-glasses likes to torture me.â "Iâm am so glad to see you come home, daughter."
"I was homesick." Her voice was muffled in the hug. Her father seemed to be more massive than usual in this form. "How long will you be like this? I can't seem to quite get my arms around you.... not that I really could before but.... I'm sure I could adapt to this change at some point..."
"Mother, I wasnât gone nearly as long this time as I was before.â Jargsa sighed and tried to hide her smile, placing her hands on her hips. âIf you keep missing me like this, I fear what you might feel when I leave to start a family of my own someday.â
She smiled. âYou can hardly blame me for wanting to be with you while I still can, Jargsa.â
"Honestly, I'm quite amazed you noticed I was gone with how busy all my rambunctious siblings keep you." She teased.
