Charly & Margaux - Laced
Laced has finally arrived! Congratulations to Charly and Margaux for completing this stellar project. In the duo's own words, Laced embodies "post-classical melodic curlicues interwoven with trunk rattling beats." Icing on the cake: all that awesomeness is available as a free download.

Here's something short and sweet from two of our favorite ladies. Charly and Margaux recently announced that Laced - their one-of-a-kind string/producer creation that was funded by a bad ass Kickstarter campaign - will be available for download November 29. So, get your name on this mailing list in order to be one of the first with a copy of Laced.
"Stop It" is slated to appear on Dutch ReBelle's Married to the Music EP, which fittingly, has a release date of Valentine's Day 2012. Freeload: ZEEK - Good Intentions
Given our close ties to ZEEK, we're especially excited about his latest release, Good Intentions. ZEEK's sophomore project is a stellar progression in lyricism and ingenuity. While responsible for producing nearly the entire album, ZEEK still calls on fellow emcees Soupa, Primo, and K.I.T. to lend a few verses on featured tracks. On a slightly different note, ZEEK's official website is up and running. It's the latest project by way of our collaboration with SOS Boston - Graded Goods Co. You can view the site here.

“Darkside of The Room” is the second installment of The ILLZ‘s Let it Fall series. The music video-short film hybrids dip between the tangible and the surreal, all the while evoking a string of emotions on the part of the viewer. “Darkside” is poignantly darker than the series’ first chapter.
It is the nightmare, the beginning of the decent into madness. The ILLZ finds himself in a rotting facade of a house; the house he shared with her. Trapped in it, unable to escape, this is him coming to terms with her and how she changed. They have grown apart, and as he searches for her, he finds little mementos, and her revelation signals that what she became is not whom he had initially fallen in love with. But his desire to be with her is unwavering, and he will destroy anything in his way to get to her, to have her by his side.

A genre bender in the true sense of the word, Let It Fall is not quite a music video, nor is it a short film, but rather a mix of both. It's a surrealist, dreamlike experience. Chronicling the emotional journey as a couple deals with a breakup, the piece moves in and out of reality, meant to be experienced on an emotional and visual level. The whole piece is like a puzzle. Each chapter is a thematic sequel to the one before it, but the worlds in each video are very much their own.
