‘The Outsiders’ Movie Things™
k so in honor of watching the outsiders not once, not twice, but thrice today here are things i took note of:
~Matt Dillon being the first listed in the opening credits scene
~Dally checking that girl out in the first scene (also: the way he walks away from her? e x t r a)
~The pack of cigarettes in Pony’s pants
~Two-Bit’s laugh after asking some girl in a car if she wants to ‘see what’s hangin’”
~Really just Two-Bit’s laugh
~The way Ponyboy’s voice rises when he says “I’ve got a brother named Sodapop”
~Pony’s lil wink to Cherry, Johnny, Two-Bit, and Marcia
~Two-Bit telling Pony to get Johnny cokes + popcorn too
~Cherry rolling her eyes as she says she’ll fall in love with Dally if she sees him again
~Anyone know what that thing on Pony’s neck is??? No??? Cool
~Pony resting his head on Johnny’s shoulder in the lot
~Darry and Soda are basically wearing the same thing and I love that
~The camera cutting back and forth between Bob’s rings and Johnny’s expression
~You can see Bob breathing after Johnny ‘kills’ him
~The way the scene changes after Pony throws that log in the pond @ the church
~Ponyboy smoking after almost dying in a fire
~Dally threatening to kill Pony after dying in a fire
~I would probably cry during the Curtis brother reunion in there wasn’t children-running-through-a-prairie music playing in the background gosh
~Steve trying to feed Sodapop chocolate cake
~”Yeah Two-Bit, lay off!!!111!!1″
~Two-Bit sitting like a four year old in front of the t.v.
~Two-Bit flipping the car off
~Pony’s slicked back blond hair
~Two-Bit’s worried expression when he asks if Johnny’s okay
~C. Thomas Howell’s amazing acting when he replies with “I don’t know”
~Dally saying it’s good to see Two-Bit and Pony
~Two-Bit feeling Pony’s forehead + his hand on his back as they get on the bus
~Steve putting his hand on Soda’s shoulder after winning the rumble
~Dally asks for Pony when he dies GOD
