Hidden Sins
In a narration from Sahih al-Bukhari, the Prophet ﷺ said:
“Everyone from my Ummah will be forgiven except those who openly expose [their sins].”
Haifz Ibn Hajar (may Allah have mercy on him) commented:
“Allah concealing [any sin] is a prerequisite for the believer concealing themselves. Thus, he who intends to disclose and expose a sin will incur the wrath of his Lord and, as such, Allah will not conceal him. However, he who intends to cover [his sin] due to shame and shyness from his Lord and other people, Allah will graciously conceal it for him.”
[Fath al-Bari, 10/488]
Al-Hasan al-Basri, may Allah be pleased with him, said,
“Love of the worldly life is the head of every sin.”

Righteous wife
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said:
A righteous wife will be with her righteous husband for many years, She may offer the love and compassion that Allaah speaks of in His Book, and the pain of separation may be harder for her than death in some cases, and harder than losing wealth or leaving one’s homeland, especially if one of them is fond of the other or they have children together who will be harmed by separation.
Majmoo’ al-Fataawa (35/299).

Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal رحمه الله said:

A’ishah رضي الله عنها said:
“The most beautiful characteristic is shyness.”
[الآداب الشريعة]
If a person wants to think about something and give it close consideration, he closes his eyes so that his sight does not steal the accuracy of his concentration. He is fearful for his thinking from his sight, so how about he who thinks about the Ummah while opening his sight to money or status?
Sheikh Abdul Aziz Tarifi
Shaykh ibn Uthaymīn رحمه الله:
It is upon a person to care for the hearts of people. If someone is heartbroken, then strive to relieve it in whatever way you can as this is a great deed. It is upon a person to care for the people the way he wants to be cared for.’
