Part 2 - Yeri, one of the sailors, and Isle, the other pirate.

I was working on this Pirate!AU comic. I had this very rough idea in my head, and I'm pretty sure I won't ever work on it officially, but I did wanna do the character profiles and stats.

I wanted to make the pirate crew like a found family kinda situation. I had in mind three girls as the major members of the crew. The "story" would start with a group of sailors that prolly get stranded out at sea and happen across these buccaneers. I had three different characters in mind for the sailors as well. I also imagined a dancer at a tavern as a different character... maybe when the gang goes to an island or a port or something.

I don't know, really. As you can tell, I haven't really thought it out in too much detail.😅

Yet, character profiles are always fun to do, so here I am, with Part 1!

Part 1 - Mel, the captain, and Ruth, her first mate.

(P.S. For Part 2, I'll probably make one of the sailors and the other pirate. We'll see! 😁✨) (Also, no judgements, please, it's a very poor attempt 😅🥺)

Zeus, Hades and Poseidon.

The mini comic is set with this plotline: it's about a few centuries ago, when Zeus was "together" with Hera, but Hera ultimately caught him engaged in some, ahem, *activities* with a nymph and she's pissed, but Zeus is as much of a dumbass as ever.

Hence, smug Zeus and angry Hera. Poseidon and Hades are scared for Zeus' life (although several parts of them believe he deserves it). Demeter and Hestia know Zeus is done for. Chaos ensues.

Hera and Demeter.

Athena, Apollo and Artemis. (I feel like I messed up Apollo though😭)

Aphrodite.

AHHHHH, MY HEARTTTT!!! I THINK SHE CAME OUT THE BESTTTT 😍😍 (so proud of myself, hehe)

Goddess of Love and Beauty really fits, doesn't it?

Also, most stories seem to imagine Aphrodite as a woman representing a lot of toxic-femininity, a seeker for male attention, all-in-all vengeful, and whatnot, and while that's probably more true to the actual Greek myths, I like to picture her as the "nicest mean girl" kind, and that she can appreciate anybody's best, most beautiful features/attributes.

The only downside I would like to keep to her would be that she's a little shallow, or that she's manipulative.

I guess I'm just way too proud of how she turned out to actually consider that she might not be the best person by book.

Ares, Hermes and Hephaestus.

Picture this...

Hermes: Cool mask, Heph! Ya definitely have to make one for me sometime! Hephaestus: As long as you promise to not mess around with the bronze bull. Hermes: Hehe ;) Hermes: Ya want one, Ares? Ares: Not if he made them. Hephaestus: I made your armor, Pretty Boy. Ares: ... exceptions can be made.

I feel like the rivalry between Ares and Hephaestus over the Aphrodite thing has a lot of potential... like, an unlikely friends troupe of sorts.

Oh, I believe Dionysus is absolutely fine, Hermes.

Hecate.

WAHHH, I'M SORRYYY 😭😭😭 I HAD ZERO IDEAS ON HOW TO DRAW DIONYSUS, AND EVERY INSPIRATION I COLLECTED DIDN'T FIT WITH THE HORRIBLY UNCLEAR MENTAL IMAGE I HAD I gave up.

If anyone asks, Dionysus got too drunk so Hecate took over. (plus, she IS a lot cooler)
