Resident Evil is back and so is Leon an everyone is like "Leon's bicep this, Leon's back that" (I mean I get that, the hype is real, the man is *delicious*) but but but, I wanna comfort-angst myself a bit, so hear me out:
*Leon who doesn't invite you to his house but comes to your place sometimes, often, feels like all the time
*Who brings your flowers, chocolates, these specific things you mentioned that you don't even remember mentioning
*Leon with scarred hands, palms full of blisters, wincing when his wrist turns the wrong way too quickly, but caresses your skin so delicately
*Who sometimes vanishes for hours, days, weeks, whose presence comes back to your life with a quick text in a random moment or the man reappears as if nothing happened
*The man who often "misses" the question, stays silent just to smile with an avoidant look in his eyes, and definitely lies
*It's the same man who sometimes reeks of alcohol or smells like a hospital bathroom
*The man who leaves at dawn
*And Leon who stays all night
*He may be 21, 27, 35, 49
*It's the Leon who says 'I love you' and shows it every time
*and also the man you know next to nothing about
it's him, it's all of him, the man that messes up with your head.
