in my head andrew and neil don't do like. classic date nights out and couply shit like that no their couples' shit is much weirder. like one time they spent 3 days doing a bit where they talked to each other exclusively doing bad brooklyn accents and impressions of movie mob guys. they will periodically send each other pictures of rocks and the other will name the rock. they go on walks together and rate birds on arbitrary scales. like just *neil points at pigeon* "six out of eight. couldn't carry a coconut across the atlantic if it had to." neil gets injured and is off court for three weeks so andrew puts up a basketball hoop on the back of their bedroom door so he feels like he's practicing his aim. their basketball game has been going for 4 years now and there is a very long points tally going on a whiteboard in the kitchen. will both start drumming out a beat on one of the cats and coordinate perfectly whilst saying nothing. they're strange. the old lady who lives across the hall absolutely adores them both.

tasks like doing the dishes or something he'll make repetitive ticking/clicking sounds but they must be made at the same pitch, speed, volume, and tone. he will repeatedly stop and test out different clicks until he gets this right

repeats words he likes the sound of from other languages to test his pronunciation and also because they're good to say. for example quando, danke, ciotola (cioooootola), esgrime, etc etc

hums guitar riffs from songs note-perfect and refuses to sing a single word

if there's tennis on tv for whatever reason, he'll echo the sounds tennis players make when they hit the ball

sleep echoer rather than a sleep talker, anything you say to him he will probably say back but it'll sound like he's mocking you

(he also sometimes does this when he's awake)

echoes news broadcasts and mimicks phrases from them like "we will keep you updated as this story progresses"

able to perfectly execute the wilhelm scream, has only ever done it once.

under his helmet he'll make the same sound as the game buzzer when it goes off in exy games and nobody will ever know because nobody's ever been close enough to hear him do it

kitchen alarm goes off. says "beep beep" in time with it until it is turned off

conversations with birds

occasionally meows back at the cats

horrifically bad at doing accents, fantastic at doing impressions of other people. has been known to say kevin's own pre-game speeches back at him just to fuck with him

hi I’m possibly about to offend some people here so if you have a problem then maybe skip bc I’m discussing thea and roland.

I’ve seen people who talk negatively about kevin and thea’s relationship because of the age gap (which yes, same for me as well). BUT some of those people don’t have that same energy towards andrew and roland

andrew and roland are so much worse than kevthea. andrew was 17 when they began hooking up, had to tie his hands so he wouldn’t push against his boundaries. thea was (presumably) the same age as roland (22-23). so the age gap is bigger AND we have confirmation that roland wasn’t respecting andrew’s boundaries??? and yet there are people who are against kevthea but not the other?

idk. maybe it’s me projecting how much I personally hate roland here but if you condemn kevthea but not andrew/roland that’s a big yikes to me
