This page is mostly a vent blog for me (the host) but it's also a system blog so others can use it of they want so I'm making a post about everyone you could see on here. The body is 30 years old and there's 12 of us. There's 3 alters that you won't see anything about, simply for safety reason and/or because they don't have internet access: our two littles (a 6 year old girl and a 10 year old boy) and our fully animal alter (a two month old kitten named Coffee). these get reposted a whole lot from here to reddit to twitter to tiktok and on and on, and i don't personally care whether or not i'm credited. i made these for everyone to use, enjoy, and find meaning in them. i appreciate folks who do credit me, but if able, please at least link to the threadless shop in the previous post - folks can get an official shirt where 90% of earnings go to trans led orgs focused on mental health (which is an important matter in general, but very personal to me) and not from a scam bot site selling AI-churned maga garbage where you probably won't get one anyway. i also suggest downloading the files from my ko-fi - they are free/PWYW and you can use them to make your own shirt, patch, embroidery project, whatever. tips are always nice, cuz i do like a pizza now and then, but never required for download.
final thought - breaking the pride tradition and more than likely won't make a new piece. the top one from TDOV is all i'm making this year. i have my focus on other projects currently and i don't want to force a poster design. these came from a specific head space and my current head space is Very Tired lmao so i wanna work on other things. 👍
Maybe I'm mistaken but it feels like these days in the tumblr therian community its much more common to be 0% human.
Feel like a bit of an outsider now. Somecreature posted a more poetic version of this sentiment a few days ago: something like too beastly to be human, too human to be beast.
I think this is an issue of the communities trying to merge each experience, therianthropy and non humanity are not always experienced side by side, you can be therian or nonhuman without being the other.
I've seen this a lot with the physical nonhuman community, folks have tried to blend it in with other communities which in turn has led to folks trying to change the definition.
The main cause is how separate communities are seen as the same community when we aren't, nonhumans and therians aren't the same community, they tend to overlap but they still are separate communities.
There's also been a rise in the adoption of terms from the physical nonhuman community, and as a physical nonhuman, don't feel pressured into making your experience something that's not authentic to you.
My wife and I went on a hike today! I really wanted to run around the forest but I was too nervous to bring my mask and I'm too new at quadrobics to be good at running on all fours 😅
