Organizing our new place and I’m finally tossing a bunch of stuff from PoPS production. Gotta Instagram some of it first though... So, what do hipster peasants like? #PoPS8
Before and after on the cracking coffins shot, explored in this week’s video:

For the conveyor system in the back, we actually hung Chris from that strap wearing different shirts in front of a green screen. The strap was attached to a hook that would move across the room, so the motion is real. It’s so uncomfortable to hang from under your arms by a strap that we could only keep him aloft for about 10 seconds at a time. I tried it too. It was awful, but it looks great.
Part of Craig’s intense expression probably has to do with the fact that there is a pretty heavy LED light hanging from his neck. It projected light from his back in a cool way, but it also quickly choked him the more he moved. Dude’s a pro.
Shocking.
Badass.
One last shot.
Virginia’s a badass.
By the time we shot this it was after 3 in the morning and we’d been shooting the fight in 90-degree heat for hours. One of the most exhausting shoots. But totally worth it.
My favorite VFX shot of the series.Â
I just love how it looks like I almost drop the table on Craig, how the table blast turned out, and our simultaneous flinch away.Â
Dude!
Active ingredient.
Brian's smooth exit as bullets rain into the living room always had a stylish Michael J. Fox level of panache to me.
For #NationalSuperheroDay, let’s recognize the guy who’s always trying his hardest: Donald Kincaid, aka Mr. Dr. Electricon.
