It's not very often that you think of
being in the same sentence, but we are proud to put the two together in this months Please Star Rating.
We traveled to the quaint little town of Seaview, WA during the April 2014 clamming season with some of The Please Line family and friends. We were greeted in the most polite fashion at the main Lodge, which is the Bed & Breakfast, Grocery Store, and evening gathering place for live music on the weekends.
We were truly in aawhh of the ambiance the owners and staff had created.
We stayed in one of their many Vintage Travel Trailers, which was one of the best experiences ever. Each trailer themed and decorated to the tilt with the smallest of details taken care of. They were perfect for each family to stay in, giving us each our space after a day of clamming. All the trailers were fully heated, included full bathrooms and full kitchens, all of which were well kept and maintained. Again, they didn't miss any detail and always made sure to include the politest of gestures in all of their notes to their guests. They also had other areas for guest to stay, such as the Cabins and the RV/Camping area where guest could bring their own travel trailers or tents to stay on the grounds.
As part of the little community they have created within their facility they have turned one of the travel trailers in a "thrift shop" for guest to look through, created a community outdoor kitchen, they provide bikes for any of the guest to use, and much more. It's truly a very special place.
The beach is less than five minutes walk and the clamming was fabulous. Mind you the wind and rain was a little daunting, but all the more reason we loved our travel trailer where it was warm and cozy when we returned.
On the weekends they have live music and many different events on their calendar for the whole family to participate in.
If you live in the Northwest or have plans to travel to the area, we would highly recommend the Sou'wester for couples or a family trip.
It is our pleasure to give the Sou'wester a FIVE STAR Please Rating and we look forward to returning again next year for another wonderful experience.
