On the bridge of tomorrow

With heavy steps, the pair walked across the icy cold path of the Gates of Judgement. Everything laid shattered and crumbled before them, L'tqia's heart just as well felt on the cusp of ruin.

L'tiqa looked at the Astrologian by his side. So beautiful and smart, they had endured a lot since those carefree days of helping people around Eorzea. They have stood against the Garleans, against the ancient Allagans, against the Primals again and again when they could only rely on each other.

He imagined them running again under the tunnels of Ul'dah. His raging emotions, the tears in his eyes as he started losing his friends one by one. All to protect them, should he have turned back too? Maybe Tart wouldn't have gotten separated then? Maybe Minfilla wouldn't be like this right now. Even if he was apart from Tea...

And then the pain, L'tiqa stared and pondered Tea. No, he cant lose her too not after all this. L'tiqa didnt want that. But everyone had made their own choices. And L'tiqa respected that. He had his own choices to make, the path for him take himself.

He thought of the words left unsaid that day, when he thought they may have to part ways.

"Yes?" Tea asked peering from her hat with a tilt.

"Your thighs look cold in that outfit." He chose to say instead. "Maybe i could warm them up for you?" He winked.

A pause from the Au Ra and "Is that so? And here i thought maybe you might say something else." and Tea turned back to what they faced, the shade of hate. "I'm sure dragonfire we'll keep us plenty warm soon enough."

"Only if they can catch us." He wasn't scared of this fight. On the contrary he needed this.

Both Nidhogg and L'tiqa couldnt let the past go. Would he end up like this at the end of the road? Let the dragonsong end here, along with this regret. They would save everyone they could. For those we could yet save.

I'm sorry Krile your really not a good judge of character, L'tiqa mused in his mind. He burned with the same desire as Alphinaud. That trip through Dravania, the five of them huddled around a campfire trying to nurture a faint hope.

L'tqia gave a bittersweet smile from the memories. When did that dragonslayer and witch become so dear to him huh?

Of course he'd look after Alphinaud, but Tea's gonna have to look after him because he'll drag Estienen out of there and only Hydaelyn knows how far L'tiqa will go to do it.

He felt his hope surge. The dream of a better day. He felt Hraesvelgr, his power, his hope, the boundless love he had for his partner within.

L'tiqa looked at his companion, and Tea looked at hers. They smiled, nodded and ran forward.

They'd put an end to this.

Okay but wtf is the Warriors of Darkness? Fallen Warriors of Light? Did they learn something horrible and have their world all eaten up?

Also the way the pope was looking at L'tiqa after we took him down....scary.

More on L'tiqa's personality

I would say hes pretty action hero coded at first glance. Hes bold, full of bravado and solves most issues by kicking the shit out of it if hes making the calls.

Hes more of a follower then a leader especially in the beginning. Hes kinda dumb so trusts others to figure out what needs to be done and then he'll go do that.

L'tiqa is an open secret softboy. He has a very good boy nature and gets attached to other people pretty fast. He's protective of his friends and inside he is sad about those he could not save. He values freedom and autonomy.

What else? He is in love with Tea Tala, my fiance's character. They have a bit of a golden retriever and black cat couple vibe. L'tiqa tries to only show his vulnerable side with her. He flirts with and teases her but can't handle any return fire. Trying to find the right moment to tell her hes in love with her but they have been rather busy lately... My power couple otp.

Completed main quest of Heavensward. I have a lot to think about actually but i can talk about that when not at work.

Im a ttrpg enthusiast and thats putting it lightly.

I mostly a dm and i enjoy that role. Watching what my friends do when i put something in front of them is always a good time.

I run a long term pirate campaign called The Heirs of Stormwing with a core group thats been running for 3 years but we've been playing together since 2019. We are nearing some pretty climatic stuff. I'm very excited for them.

I also run a Rime of the Frostmaiden on the side. I always tend to alter the modules greatly tho lol.

Player wise, im in a group thats been going for almost as long as my online friends. I play tabaxi paladin/bard and his name is Blind Trick and he is a chef and he smites things with a frying pan. He has died twice thus far. They are currently in the Nine Hells and narrowly escaped a tpk. SEND HELP.

Im also in a fledgling Curse of Strahd game. I play druid based on an npc from a previous campaign. Were in the Death House so uh ill tell you if we survive that.

I do tons of duets in all kinds of systems with my fiance. Its incredible, you should be jealous.

Ayo first post on the new blog? This my boy L'tiqa Bara. Theres a lore reason for the last name and definitely not cause i didnt know the naming convention when i first made him.

He might be a little dumb but he a good boy fr fr.

I'm playing through with my beautiful fiance whose ahead of me but im currently at Heavensward, have really enjoyed it thus far. Id say the story for me got going around postgame ARR.

I would say im a Red Mage main right now? Played mostly Dragoon in ARR tho. Red Mage for ARR Postgame and i switch between the two for Heavensward. Still trying out a lot of the jobs tho and learning to tank.

I've grown attached to him and my fiance's character so you may see a lot of posts about that.
