Dear Readers,
As of late, we've been in a transitional period and have been too busy to really give this blog the attention that it deserves. The two of us have been very busy with other ventures, and as a result, the Profound Programmer has taken a back seat. While we may be sporadically posting new content, we have discontinued our print orders until further notice.
Anyone who has already placed an order is going to be processed, and order support will be offered until all existing orders are completed.
We apologize for any inconvenience in the interim.

favorite part of CSS? hmm that’s a tough one but it would have to be that it makes me want to be dead
Whats…. whats your least favourite part?

FOAAS (Fuck Off As A Service) provides a modern, RESTful, scalable solution to the common problem of telling people to fuck off.
A woman tells her programmer husband to go to the store for some milk and while he’s there, get some eggs. He takes egg carton after egg carton, until there are none left. He reaches for empty space. The ground splits beneath his feet. The universe trembles and collapses.
This is how the world ends. Not with a bang but with a Null Pointer Exception.
Attention Readers Outside of the US
We've finally been able to reduce costs and lower the international shipping rates. We thank you for your patience and continued interest!

Today, CSS is the worst possible way to describe the layout of a page.
Tomorrow, CSS will have been the worst possible way to describe the layout of a page for another 24 hours.
This trend will continue until the Sun expands, laying total and steady waste to the planets of our solar system. Mercury, Venus, Earth - the destruction of our planet is nothing but 3/8 on a progress bar watching us end.
And that progress bar will be described with CSS, and CSS will have been the worst possible way to describe the layout of a page for billions of years.
When our Sun ("our" being only a laughable, convenient possessive at this point in time) finishes its expansion and goes supernova with enough force to disturb time itself, it will begin to collapse upon itself and become a black hole.
When future extraterrestrial civilizations scan this destroyed system with their Hyper Eyes and record their findings for their master’s theses, they will host their findings on their personal website on the school’s network, where the layout of the page will be described with CSS. At this time, CSS will have been the worst way to describe the layout of a page for quadrillions of years. This is an estimate, because their sun is larger than ours, and our concept of a “year" ended with our sudden Lack of Existence.
This is not to say that designing web pages has not changed over time, however. The methods and best practices are unrecognizable now. Web developers project their thoughts between a pair of Dark Spires and form their designs on an ethereal Mind-Canvas. The standards of the web have not changed, though, and Mind-Canvas compiles to CSS via Node (which has yet to reach a full major version at this point in time).
In a cave on a mountaintop outside the city, a child is being born. When the newborn ceases to cry and is at peace with the world outside the womb, it is dipped gently in a shallow mountain pond, rippling the surface outward to its edges. With the spell completed, the ripples rebound from the edges of the pool and between each other in what seems like chaos to the untrained eye, but the Seer knows to look deeper. Reading between the crests of each wave, a pattern forms, and She can see beyond now into what will come.
The future is brighter than anyone could have reasonably hoped for. The towers that touch the sky today will go beyond it tomorrow. Treatment of the ill and infirm will be solved, and the young and healthy will live that way longer and stronger than before. The national boundaries that divide us will blur, and holding hands will give us a combined reach that extends beyond the furthest metaphorical stars. And CSS will have been the worst way to describe the layout of a page for -NaN years.

Welcome to Classics Week! We took a look back at some of our more popular posts, and we're bringing them up to HD and making them available in our store.
In addition to that, what would you like to see on a shirt? We're in the process of making several of our posters available in a more minimalist design for shirts, and we'd love to hear what you want to see.
