This blog, run by @alethiosr, serves to provide information and updates about the Fellowship of Pullmetic Faith and Restoration of Truth. This account serves to give out information about the order, some public updates(though the majority will be at https://fpfrt.blogspot.com), and the main point of communication with the general public.

FPFRT is a quasi-occult, partially religious group with heavy inspiration from Phillip Pullman’s works, His Dark Materials and The Book of Dust, along with inspiration from Gnosticism and Western Esoterica. It was envisioned a year ago now, originally called The Alethia Society with both the Alethiometer in mind and to express FPFRT’s core values of truth. It has now been expanded and clarified, though it’ll still take time and many hands to refine FPFRT into what I imagine.

Asks will be open and will be responded to as often as possible, however this is not the primary source of information or contact from FPFRT. You can find the official website below as well as the official email address.

Today we welcome our first member!

After much trial and tribulation and many months of waiting, a new member has finally joined us! I, Alethios, wondered if this day would ever come at all. There is still much to do, but this is a victory worth celebration.

I feel incredibly blessed that @knifebearer decided to give the fellowship a chance. I hope that this marks the beginning of a wonderful friendship and more people to come in the future.

The Fellowship of Pullmetic Faith and Restoration of Truth is finally fully open to new members. The above poster will be spread around the Palo Alto area in California by Alethios R, the Scholar. Online applications are also open but the fellowship is focusing on gathering a group offline. Please refer to the website for more details.

is this a cult

First off, sorry for the incredibly late response. I, Alethios, am the only one currently running this blog and have been dealing with tons of personal struggles lately.

I want to answer this question as best and unbiased as possible, though as the person running this organization that’s very difficult. I wouldn’t consider the fellowship to be a cult in any way.

I do not ask to be worshipped, nor do I want anyone else to worship a figure against their will. That is entirely antithetical to the whole reason this fellowship exist. By some definitions, simply being strange would classify me as a cult leader and the fellowship as being a cult, but that’s too simple of an analysis. I directly oppose religious control and blind faith. I’d be hypocritical to do the same myself.

Anyone who joins the fellowship is allowed to express themselves freely. They can leave if they choose, though if involved in very internal affairs would need to promise secrecy. Members can engage with others how they please and practice the faiths and culture they choose.

Blind faith and surrendering to those who wish to control you is destruction of truth. You must not leave them just to fall into another trap. We’re here to uplift the people and clear the fog.
