Mun Update (yes I'm alive)

Hello friends! I know it's been a while. Life has been ridiculous. Here's a few updates:

- I've been abroad (Finally). My school agreed to pay for me to go to London. It was one of the best trips of my life.

- I Graduated (Manga Cum Laude!) My senior thesis took up all of my time last year and I really didn't have time for LIVING much less RP.

- I'm going to Graduate School in the fall. As such I need somewhere to de-stress.

- As much as it may seem, I haven't abandoned this blog and I would like to pick up with any of you that are still around. I still have drafts for @dukeofwiltshire, @duchessofwiltshire, @unfadiism, @lordofelves, @blueeyedslytherin, @girlwhatsbornforhangin-archive,

I would be happy to continue our old drafts or to start new ones. I'm so sorry I've been gone so long. I didn't drop your replies I promise. However, if you don't want to start in the middle of something (or re start at all) I totally understand.

Tldr; if you are still interested in RPing in any capacity, let me know!

“Cissa!! Hey!” Andy wiped the way so now off her cheek ans grinned. She scooped her own snowball out if a nearby drift. “Hope you didn’t think I’d just let that go!” She called as she lobbed a snowball back at her sister.

Andromeda was ready. She ducked the snowball and then tossed two quickly, one in each direction section hoping to catch Cissa if she ran. “Ha! Gotta try better than that Cissa!!! Honestly, I think a muggle could beat you!”

“A MUGGLE?!” Narcissa gasped in shock. “I am so in-SUL-ted!” the younger sister shouted as she threw another ball. Without warning, the pack of ice that Andromeda had thrown prior had hit her square on her blonde head. She screamed at the cold feeling, shaking her head furiously. The feeling wasn’t so cold as to have slid to the inside of her clothes, but the knowledge that she’d just lost this snowball fight caught her by surprise and disdain.

Andromeda let out a shriek of laughter and she fell back into snowdrift giggling madly. "I BEAT you!! I told you! You think I'm not a proper slytherin but I AM Cissa. And I LOVE winning!!"

About the Mun

1. BASICS

NAME: Keira PRONOUNS: she/her SEXUALITY: het TAKEN OR SINGLE: single THREE FACTS: 1. My family collects cats ( I wish I was kidding there's seven of them now) 2. I've played piano since I was two and it is one of the few things that makes me truly happy. 3. I have a delightful obsession with the Navy and the Age of Sail.

2. EXPERIENCE

HOW LONG (MONTHS / YEARS?): Oh, for at least six or seven years now? Probably only three years on tumblr, but I'm enjoying it so far! PLATFORMS YOU’VE USED: texting, instant messaging, stand-alone blogs, and probably facebook. Tumblr is the newest! BEST EXPERIENCE: I really love private rping with friends and such, but some of my greatest experiences and my greatest friends have been made on tumblr. (@duchessofwiltshire + @lordofelves lookin' at you) plus I got to interact with some of the writers I admire the most. Everyone has always been very kind and helpful and just delightful to write with. I couldn't ask for better partners!

3. MUSE PREFERENCES

FEMALE OR MALE: I don't think i have a preference. My only tumblr muse is a woman right now, but I've written men in the past and I enjoy that too. MULTI OR SINGLE: single. I feel like if I made a multi-muse blog I would get SUPER stressed/confused/forgetful :(

4. WRITING PREFERENCES

FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT: I love ANGST SO MUCH OMG. Especially with Andromeda. I mean. Her family just BEGS for angst. Plus her romantic interests are so much better if they're a little angsty. BUT of course I love fluff. PLOTS OR MEMES: I love them both equally! Sometimes if I'm too tired to plot I'd rather do a meme. Okay I REALLY love memes, but I like plotting too! Whatever works for my partner (BUT SERIOUSLY GUYS SEND ALL THE MEMES) LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: This really depends on how tired I am honestly. I'll do both, but sometimes the longer ones will get put off. Other times I write like a freaking masters thesis on accident like??? BEST TIME TO WRITE: When I'm NOT tired (which is never) so usually late at night. ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S): I'm not sure. I think there are some things about me and Andy that are similar. Physically I don't think we're much alike (unfortunately) but there are parts of her personality (like her sense of humor) that I feel are similar to mine. There are lots of qualities that Andy has that I WISH I had. Does that count?

“I dont think of me as being brave…I am not like one of those Gryffindors.” Amara said, weakly, before glancing at her aunt. Amara squeeze tightly. “Thank you…I know that you and Mother don’t talk any more and seeing me…it must be hard.”

Andromeda felt her eyes grow damp. "It's not hard...it makes me happy. You remind me of your mother a great deal. It makes the distance feel smaller."

She smiled a little "Gryffindor doesn't always mean brave. Everyone has each of the qualities. Don't sell yourself short, love."

There was always a far-off gaze in her eyes when it came to him. Narcissa wished that Lucius wouldn’t plague her heart so much, but he did. Andromeda and Bellatrix knew how much he meant to her–but she couldn’t tell if she meant a single thing to him.

“Why do you say that?” she asked her sister, denying the pain of her unrequited love. She wore her heart on her sleeve, and so often it had given her trouble.

Andromeda looked up from her book. Her knuckles turning white were they only signs of her distress. Pain lanced from the empty space Lucius used to fill in her heart all the way down to her toes. “I think love…is when you want someone more than anyone else in the world and you’d do anything to be with them. So, if Lucius really loved you, then he would give up all of those other girls to be with you. Loving is about giving. He’d be giving away his “manly freedom” to have your love…and I do think he’s capable of that, if you give him the chance?“

She breathed deeply, hesitant to answer her sister’s section question. "I….did love him once. But we are too different, Cissa. We….weren’t meant for eachother. It was like amortentia. It seemed real, until the first few doses wore off….then we both let eachother go.” You mean you dumped him because you caught him with a group casting Crucio, the nasty little voice in her head reminded.

Her eyes searched for any other reassuring answer in Andromeda’s expression. Silence pervaded the air as Narcissa mused over what her sister had said.

“So,” she started, when she could finally find her voice once more, “there will be a point where we just fall out of love with each other. I expected as such,” she shrugged, her spirit crestfallen and in despair. Perhaps she would be a better match for him if she joined the Death Eaters? It was something that was always in the back of Narcissa’s mind. Bellatrix being a part of it had made their parents proud, so why discourage their youngest from doing the same?

These thoughts, of course, she did not voice aloud to her sister for fear of judgment. Andromeda would influence her away from such things, but if Narcissa was to be less simpering and more assertive of herself, she might just have joined them. “If I changed myself, do you think he’ll pay attention to me?” were the words that came from her mouth next.

Andromeda gasped. "NO! Cissa, no! That's not what I said. Me and Lucius....we're not suited. but you two ARE he won't fall out of love with you. How could he? But if you change yourself for him - you won't be able to keep up a façade forever. If he marries a fake woman he won't know who he loves when you can't pretend anymore!"

"Spill it, " Andromeda whispered. "If He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named told you to kill me....would you?" (For Lucius)

Lucius stared at her long and hard. He shut his eyes tight and slowly shook his head. “No.” His voice went low. “I wouldn’t. …I can’t. I can’t kill anyone.” He dug his fingers into his robes. “I don’t want to, I’m not that kind of person, much less kill someone one who is family. If I could, don’t you think I would have done in your maniac sister eons ago? I don’t have the most remote of desires to see your rotten sister take another insane breath, but I still can’t bring myself to do it. Regardless of what I won’t do, that doesn’t mean he will hold back any. There is nothing but twisted hate and incredible power in him- the combination is truly terrifying.” His voice was wavering now as his eyes darted around the room out of pure fear before they fell back on her. “You’re a brilliant woman, Andromeda. You need to run, go and get out of here. These people are insane. …I’ve made a terrible mistake in joining them. I should have listened to my father, I was a fool.”

Andromeda watched him and she almost laughed. Even she had considered killing Bellatrix once or twice. Instead she made a choked sound. Something between a laugh and a sob.

"Come with me," she whispered. "Come with me and forget everything. Lucius, if I can hide you can hide - we know enough magic between the two of us. You don't have to stay."

She took a step toward him, carefully. "You were a fool. Always. But leave it behind, Lucius!"

How could I be?” He fiddled with his pen- a muggle click pen his last partner left him- and sat it down before he clicked it too many times. He cleared his throat, the words coming out ragged regardless. “I don’t want to hold her back if… if she has found someone. It’s not fair for us both to be miserable. We made terrible mistakes together, but I won’t… I won’t keep her unhappy. I also know it’s not fair to put you in this position and I won’t drag your name into it.”

Andromeda closed her eyes for a moment. This was the last place she wanted to be. She knew everything. Cissa hadn't tried to be discreet. But no matter what he'd done in the past, Lucius didn't deserve this pain. The pain of loss, of broken trust.

She took a deep breath and focused on his hands - on the pen he set on his desk. "Yes..." It came out like a breath of air. So soft, she almost hadn't said it. She hated it. She hated that it was true. The pain in his voice nearly floored her. He suffered. But he deserved to know...

"Y-yes...Lucius...I'm sorry..." her voice caught in her throat, unable to continue.
