HealerFount but when they meet again as Shadow Milk and Pure Vanilla they are surprised by the other's new self.

Pure Vanilla internally: That's my Fount? I mean I know that's my Fount but... wow he looks so different now. When did he get that neck scar and all those eyes? I missed his stary hair. Oh, he's more built now. Oh, he's more built now, and when did he get claws? Wait... right he's... he's a beast now. He isn't like the Fount I remember, he changed. Does he still like me? I has been a long time... maybe he hates me. He hates everything about his past self so I wouldn't be crazy if he hated me too. I hope he doesn't. I hope he still likes me. I hope he still love me like I still love him.

Shadow Milk internally: Sweat. Fucking. Witches. That's my healer? That's My Healer?? How does he look better then in my memories?! He's gorgeous! Wait... did healer take my soul jam to feel close to me again? Oh, that silly smitten lamb, He can keep it for all I care- wait. He can't be my Healer. Because I'm not Fount anymore. He loves Fount. He loved Fount. It's been ages. And I destroyed any record of the thing he loved. I destroyed the thing he loved will all his heart and soul. Why would he love me like that? Please love me like that.

It would not take long for them to realize that the other one knows who they are.

Pure Vanilla, still worried that he's changed too much to still be loved, watches Shadow Milk like a hawk during one of their dinners together.

Shadow Milk, still worried that he's changed too much, is working up the nerve to say something, anything to let his Healer know that he knows.

They both freeze and look at each other across the table.

The distance between them is suddenly too great. Pure Vanilla climbs across the table and Shadow Milk is just able to pull himself up onto it in time to catch him.

"M-My Fount!!" Pure Vanilla kisses him fiercely.

"Healer, o-ohhh, Healer!" Shadow Milk's claws dig into his robes to hold him closer.

They never showed this kind of affection towards each other before. Before with the weight of their respective titles and duties, even something as simple as a hand hold would've been seen as scandalous. But now, without those titles, they could touch each other.

And then had eons of touching to catch up on.
