just wanna say i adore the way you draw faces. how do you make characters look so androgynous??

hello!! finally have the time to answer yay thank u sm im glad you love it cuz im always trying to put a lot of effort into them😭 btw it's not the characters that look androgynous in my art style but... just Shadow Milk, because yk it's SHADOW MILK and he is hella androgynous (at least in my view), but anyway THANK U for pointing that out cuz im always a lil bit scared that im not good at making her (yea i usually draw his genderbend ver) to look like this!!! i'll take that as a sign that im doing fine im not sure i can tell HOW im doing this mostly im just trying to make her look mature and yk adult... but i think her wide shoulders are helping too (my two days off are over, and I'm going to spend a week on an internship again✌️so here is a quick sketch of my fem smc)

This drawing is a bit special because my bestie was the one who largely guided me and suggested details for both the background and the color palette, so I’ll definitely consider this drawing a kind of collage between the two of us! 💕💕

Additionally, I was inspired by comcomblue’s art style. I absolutely love their illustrations!
