We used to be so fascinated by elders when we saw their college notes . We would be so fascinated when somebody from neighborhood would dress well and show for a job. I always thought it was so cool to be so smart to get a degree and then go out and get a job!! When you were a kid, going to a foreign country felt like going to a different planet.IT WAS THAT COOOL.Mom said only smart people can go abroad , are we smart ? Well idk bout you , but I do think I AM . Everybody had this big dream of moving out from your own state, country or city and then settling somewhere else far from your family. And if you end up managing to a totally different place, you were a blessed kid because only rich kids could do that. Either rich or smart kids had the privilege of moving out.

I always was so unserious about life. All I cared was going to school, getting good grades, coming home, demanding some good food, going out to play till mom called up every neighbor to search me and then return and sleep ,or watch TV till dad returned. This reader tells me that your life as a kid, which means my life is much more interesting and fun than yours!!. Now I don't know if I should be happy or sad about it????. Do you still believe in fairies? Because I still think it's true. Maybe fairies are true, maybe barbies are true, maybe there is another universe where we actually do have barbies, and the castle, the mermaids, and the jungle book characters too!!!!!!!. Also, have you found anyone yet??? I just can't get old fairy tales. They're so dreamy, they're so nice!!!!!. Have you found Prince Charming? Do you have palace, did you get a tiara? Do you have a gown? Does he love you??. I hope he truly does. This lady right here tells me that me and you are totally different people. I don't think that's true. She doesn't tell me, but I know that what she means is fairy tales are not true, and that it doesn't work how I think it does, such a meanin OUFFFFF. Maybe not entirely, but at least some of it might be true, right?

This lady tells me that all I have is genuine smile and am full of life, while , you just put up a smile to make others feel better. She tells me that the people you trust end up creating the most chaos in your life, and that I dream a lot and you don't at all. I just hope it's all a lie, and if it's the truth, I just hope no matter how you're living, you're happy, content, and joyful. I hate how everyone thinks I'm just stupid,!or too kiddish!, or I live in my own world.! Mind you: I daydream a lot. But they just cannot see what I can seeeeeeee. They just don't get me ATA LLLLLBut I know one thing for sure, that it's only you who'll understand me.

This girl kept telling something about anxiety. Now I don't know what it is, but it doesn't really sound like a witch's tea ??. This girl says that you are one of the most dreamiest girls out there. She says that you are one of the most calmest person someone who has to guard their heart. She says that your heart is like a castle and that you must protect it. Is your heart as pretty as the castles of the fairies and princessss ? Nevertheless, please protect it.

There is something about a lot of trauma, disappointment, and people belittling you or just talking you down. This pile gave me energy of someone who had a really sad teenage. Maybe you were a very hopeful child and were forced to grow up and take the burden of other's expectations. You are a very sensitive person so people's words affect you a lot. 𝓽hings 𝓲 wish i knew before 𝓲 𝓼hifted (as a girl who shifts on command)

as a girl who’s shifted so many times she learned how to do it on command, i can say with confidence that there’s many things i wish i was told beforehand that neither shifttok or shiftblr talk about (warning, it’s a lot).

CUTE DISCLAIMER : these are things I wish I was told . If you do not agree, THATS FINE . this is just what i wish i was exposed too before my first shift that i think will help others like me . When i use “you” “you’re” pronouns, im talking to my pre-shift self in second person. i just feel like this can support others .

001. i would never look at life the same again .

imagine how it feels bringing your subconscious to another place for the first time and realizing you are infinite . everything everyone said was true . it was never just an ongoing tiktok joke, it was real . shit was hard to come to terms with . very hard .

of course, shifting for the first time was awesome, but coming back was… interesting . i looked at everything differently . i feel like shifters talk about what shifting for the first time was like and forget to include the “coming back confusion”

002. after getting used to it, the “spark” kinda goes away .

now i know what the rest of shiftblr is gonna say . “shifting is real!!! don’t romanticize it!!!!” and i completely agree, for this reason . before i shifted for the first time, ngl, i did lowk think in the back of my mind it was gonna be sunshine and rainbows . obviously, i was wrong .

it’s just like any other life on any other day on any other planet . unless you’re shifting to mars or some shit .

It’ll get boring . it’ll get sad . It’ll get irritating . and trust, shit will get real . but that’s just how life is . after i realized thats how life is, i kinda got like . huh .

it’s kinda like how it felt when you realized Santa wasn’t real . if that makes sense .

003. the real world is harsh .

as a girl who was never an actress, singer, dancer, model, guitarist, and songwriter in this reality, imagine my surprise when i saw that people would hate my acting/singing there ??? i scripted i was literally awesome ???? my discography is heavenly????? what ???? they aren’t even nice about it either .

004. you’re gonna start wanting to shift to a lot more “niche” drs after that .

soooo, you know how you’re shifting to be a student in hogwarts rn? well, you’re still gonna do that, but you might wanna be a lawyer in another dr now too . or maybe an alien from Saturn . or maybe a scientist who knows the secrets of the universe . or something .

after realizing you can explore every single reality out there, you start to want to experience new things in a more uncommon way . a way that other people probably won’t also be shifting there .

i mean . . . unless you have niche drs already . then like, fuck it, we ball .

005. you will have so many different relationships and dynamics and vibes with people you won’t know what to do .

after shifting, literally everything will remind you of either your cr, or your dr . you’ll remember an inside joke from your dr friend from a few years ago, and then in the same day cry about something your cr friend said while you’re in your dr .

it’s slightly almost kinda sorta maybe a little overwhelming at first, but you begin to get the hang of it as your dr is already something you’ve always known .

it’s fun, too . sometimes I’ll be out and see cute keychains and I’ll be like,”oh, (dr best friend) would’ve loved that.” you get a little homesick no matter where you are, but it’s almost comfortable, it that makes sense . because you know you’re gonna see them again, you already are .

𝓶y biggest 𝓽ips for those who haven’t shifted yet ✮ part one .

just some random tips i think all shifters, whether shifted or not really, could benefit from !

001). TAKE BREAKS. i don’t care if it’s a day, i don’t care if it’s ten years . take a break and come back to it later when you feel stuck . i promiseeeeee it will benefit you in more ways than one .

002). try to write down your feelings on paper . no, do not go ahead and type out on your notes app . actually grab a pen and paper, and WRITE .

003). meditate more often . i think many people (me included) are very opposed to meditating because we think it’s “boring”, but there’s a bunch of ways to enhance your meditation experience without making it feel like a drag !

004). stop following the crowd . make your own method , take your own time , etc . don’t completely depend on others to give you the support you need . you are the only person who knows what they need .

005). Protect your peace . don’t let everyone know what you’re doing, where you’re shifting, etc . keep some things to yourself, let your life be private .

006). if you’re just getting started, i recommend trying to manifest things for yourself in your cr . once you realize you can control the reality you’re already in, it’ll be easier to control your subconscious to believe it can do it somewhere else, too .

007). try not to let shifting consume you . it’s just another reality . just another place that you can go too whenever you want . don’t let it gain a hold on you so much you can’t think of anything else .

008). create a schedule that works best for you . maybe scripting at 6:00, taking care of stuff in your cr after, and winding down and getting ready to shift by like 8:00-9:00? just throwing numbers out there, but an organized schedule will keep you refreshed and motivated .

009). try different things! if you aren’t seeing much progress with the method or technique your working on, try another! there’s thousands of different methods!

010). don’t stress yourself out during “unsuccessful” days . you still have tomorrow, remember? it’ll be okay, and you will shift eventually . every flower blooms at a different pace .

Just to talk about this concept that you need to be stress free or in a quiet environment to shift:

Y’all, if you shift to a version of you in another reality and you’re dissatisfied with that reality, nothing is stopping you from shifting back to your CR

That’s because that reality doesn’t trap you, and you don’t need to be satisfied with the reality you’re in before shifting out. You already believe that to be true. I think it’s pretty rare to find someone that still thinks you can struggle to shift back out of a reality

Not only that but you’d be able to shift back to this CR no matter where in your DR you were. On a noisy train? Your bedroom? Doesn’t matter, you could shift back here easy. Your surroundings or satisfaction with the environment don’t change your ability to shift out

So why the fuck do you think you need to have everything perfect and stress free here? How does anything in your current environment impact your ability to shift? You wouldn’t think that about any other reality!!!!! Stop worrying about any of it, it’s all a distraction

You don’t need to love this reality either, you don’t need to be amazingly grateful for everything. This reality doesn’t affect any other reality

It’s hard to for me too, to ignore the constant sound of my family or the “Stand clear of the closing doors, please!” every morning on my commute, and I do worry about my responsibilities here. But honestly the stress is distracting from the fact that we can shift no matter what’s going on around us. I once minishifted BORED and sleepy as hell listening to MCR. Many others have shifted on nights they wanted to cry themselves to sleep

When you shift, THAT reality becomes your current reality for the time being, so if you can shift out of other “current” realities, shift out of this one

Reality can be your bitch if you let it be, too. its all about what you decide to hold close to you because you are the centre. thats it, thats all ! at the beginning of my journey i feel like i gave myself less credit than i genuinely deserved at times, telling myself "I didn't manifest xyz, it was a coincidence," or "this just happened. it wasn't me." and here's when we stop. it wasn't a coincidence. it's your power to change your life as an individual, stop identifying with a person who's not in touch with their power/won't accept their power. Maybe it's out of fear or self sabotage (speaking from experience) but sometimes you have to take that leap, so take it. Accept that everything, everywhere, is you. the stars in the sky? you made that shit appear.
