sending my most loyal knight on increasingly dangerous missions because i want to see him crawling back bleeding out within an inch of his life or see him get possessed by the cursed blade as his morals start to crumble as he grows more bloodthirsty and ruthless but it turns out he's too good at his job so he just returns perfectly fine every time. what's even the fucking point

hey listen you leave my amulet out of this. just because it glows eerily and my eyes have taken on the same color as its gemstone doesn't mean that i have been influenced in any way by it. the fact that i want to see my loyal knight get gravely injured and/or corrupted sexy style has nothing to do with whether or not i have been corrupted by the amulet. which i definitely have not been.
