Style Testing Post 4: Reiju

Style: Disney (Hercules 1997)

Here she is, I decided to use the style from Hercules because I thought it'd fit, Plus it's one of my favorite movies.

I'm fairly proud of how this came out, I chose to put her in Meg's outfit since I think it fit her well

Reiju is one of those characters where it's very fun to plot out how she interacts with a lot of the others since she's involved with quite a few groups in various ways.

Style Testing Post 3: Law

Style: Wolf Walkers (It's not perfect but I tried :') )

Here is Law! Shocked I got two posted so close together if I'm being totally honest but I can't complain, I like how Law came out but I feel like he's missing something, I doesn't quite look as whimsical as I would've liked but regardless here he be.

There is still a lot more stuff I have for Law I could've put on this sheet and I know I still have to explain the collars to people but I'll work on that as I work on the next Picture, perhaps a two part explanation comic about how my Modern Au works? The world isn't quite dystopian but it's still not an entirely perfect world, but it is where the AskTheMonkeyDads blog takes place and hopefully it'll help flesh out the world a bit better.

Law won the last character vote, I just spun the style wheel and this one is gonna be interesting because I didn't even see this style on the wheel (there's a lot of different styles on here and some are very specific to animation from certain movies)

For the following character vote I will also add the styles I spin on the wheel, whichever character would be best suited for the style I'll assign it to them in the options, that way everyone has more control over what's coming out.

Though for the Bio sheets I'll go with a different picture because I'm keeping them on file

Style Testing Post 1: Killer

Here's Killer! This was believe it or not my first time drawing him (I've drawn one of his sons a couple times before I ever did him), Most of the sketch was done from memory with some corrective adjustments before I started adding color.

I'll eventually make a short post about what the collar questions mean later, since they're only applicable to my Modern take on omegaverse stuff.

I am also open to answering some questions about specific characters for this au, since it's the universe @askthemonkeydads takes place in and can affect some of the things I add to bios in the future

I’ve decided to try and start drawing new characters I haven’t before as a challenge for myself to help me get back into the swing of keeping productive again while also testing out new ways to color things like painting/different styles.

If anyone has any suggestions for characters from one piece and a style idea let me know in the comments! I’ll also add my own head cannons when I post for those specific characters, maybe some information about the cannon divergent au and monkey family stuff (but you’d have to ask about what specifically cause it probably won’t be a lot)
