Tessa narrowed her eyes and smirked āReally is that your name?ā She walked up closer and looked her up and down. āMrs. Romanoff you can not lie to the Tesseract.āĀ
A sly smirk curled Natasha's lip, as she spoke. "That explains it. Thank you for telling me what I wanted to know."

Tessa looked at the woman who she slightly remembered āUm I do not know..ā She giggled āI am Tessaā she smiled and held out her hand to shake.
Natasha stared at the hand a moment, but for taking in a swift and bone-crushingly firm handshake. "Natalie Rushman."

"...Did I miss something?"
(bed time)
A little information gathering
āBullet holes?ā He said looking at her with a coy smile, He lifted up his arm and wiped the blood off. There were a few small cuts and some very nasty bruises where an open chest wound once was. āIāve had far worse for much less. So I think so.ā
She shrugged, unfazed by his rapid healing. "Close enough. I imagine your not the type of guy who just barges into randomĀ facilitiesĀ and takes what ever he fancy's, right? You were sent here. By who?" Red hair fell in her eyes as she cocked her head to the side.
A little information gathering
āI did.ā Gabe replied shortly.
"Was it worth the chase? The bullet holes?" She smiled. It was a smile that knew all secrets and knew all diversions. It was a smile that was very amused. "Meeting me?"
A little information gathering
āItās not, not for you. But if thatās how it has to beā¦ā He kept sounding cocky, but he just wanted to leave. If World War Thirteen couldnāt kill Gabriel, he doubted a random woman could. He holstered the pistols to his chest and pulled the chair from the door to face the woman. He had to give it to her, she was definitely determined. He unfastened his helmet and then clipped and locked it to his suit.
Gabriel pulled out a cigarette and lit it, taking a generous drag on it.
āI doubt this will go how you thinkā¦ā
Natasha smiled, appreciatively. "This will go exactly how I want to go. It's just how things work, sorry to say." She slipped her gun from her holster and leaned over to place it on the ground and slid it across the floor to his feet. She leaned up slowly, leveling her gaze on the newly revealed face.
"So, tell me, did you find what you where looking for?" The spider queried. "There's not much here so I can hardly imagine what you could have found."
A little information gathering
Gabriel had noticed everyone had given up the pursuit, not normal for a secured building. Before he approached the exit, he decided to unholser both of his pistols and began to walk. The Security cam feed on his HUD confirmed his suspicion.
He stood off from the exit, looking at the door with the chair and Black Widow to the side.
āSo⦠youāre not gonna just let this go are you? You couldnāt stop me if I gave you a clean shot on my faceā¦ā
Natasha smirked. He wanted to play, did he? She was up for a game.
"I'm not one for letting things go. And most certainly, never people." Natasha said, clearly and without uncertainty. "And quite honestly, I don't even need a clean shot to stop you. Or even a gun. I could have you with but words." A smirk curled her lips, as she uncrossed and recrossed her legs. "And maybe even less."Ā
"How about we do it like this?" She called to him. "You sit and we talk. At the end of our little discussion one of us winds up blissfully dead while the other walks free." Natasha paused. "The catch? You lose the helmet and I lose my gun. Does that sound fair?"
A little information gathering
How big is this damn place? How was he not out yet? Gabe pulled up the buildingās schematics on his HUD. It should be right aroun..
Damnitā¦
Gabe had been going the wrong way the whole time. He adjusted course toward the back exit, but it would take him through a few more offices. At least heād be avoiding the crazy chick.
Computer, hijack anything wirelessly transmitted. The security system, data, anything we can use. The quantum computer in his helmet whirred as it processed the new request almost immediately.
Security doors unlocked along the way, granting him passage to his new way out.
The moment Natasha realized she lost him, she simply stopped where she was and turned around and began to walk. It was obvious that he was doubling back for the back exit, taking the long way around, no less. It was easy enough to just let him go. Easy enough to tell her superiors she had lost the intruder. It was easy enough to go crying to the infirmary about her shoulder.Ā
But the Black Widow was never one for easy.
She reloaded her gun and slipped it into its holster. Grabbing two displaced chairs, she dragged them along behind her as her path deviated around another corner. There was a door there, with sign above it in bright red letter proclaiming EXIT. She placed one chair in front of the door and the other just a few feet away.Ā
Natasha sat. Crossed her legs. And waited.Ā
A little information gathering
The concrete of the wall cracked and crumbled as Gabriel slammed into it. This chick was serious. Noa would have been proud. He bent and arched his back sideways, trying to reset a rib. I t went back in with a sickening crunch. The blood flow of the multiple shots already started to staunch itself. He reached in with a finger and fished out of of the rounds that was shallower than the others.
āThat the best you got?ā He spat. āI havenāt even drawn a weapon yet.ā He then continued down the hallway, faster. His gait reaching close to 30 mph indoors. When he hit a dead end, Gabe bashed through a reinforced door with a shoulder charge like it was balsa, still looking for the exit. Signs were starting to point in the right direction.
"Think I'd waste my best on you? This is just child's play." Natasha sneered, as she took off after him. Human as she was, she was more then that still. The intruder's brutish and carelessĀ escape was easy to follow. The only good thing about this dammed building was that dead ends were a plenty and he'd was unfortunately, only heading deeper into the building. The Widow was only half registering her dislocated arm, and filed the pain away for later inspection.Ā
