This has been my battle song for the longest time. With God nothing is impossible. No matter what you are going through, no matter how impossible it may seem (Cancer, Terminal illness, Bankruptcy, Failed Grades, Failed marriage etc), we have a God who parted the Red Sea, brought down the walls of Jericho, Brought Lazarus back to life and walked on water. He has done it before, He will do it again.

I just posted youtube videos of a 6 weeks series on Love, Sex & Marriage by Pastor Jeremy Foster. This has hands down been the best messages I have listened to on dating relationships and marriage and I highly recommend you find time to listen to all of them (part 6 was my favorite). I never really take notes when I listen to messages ( I know I know thats not good) but after this series, I sat down and made a list of things I learnt and decided to share with you guys; 

Love is a choice not an emotion. God commanded us to love and you cannot command an emotion.

A good marriage is spelt W-O-R-K

You bring to marriage all your baggage and most times will blame your spouse for it. So work on fixing all your baggage before marriage

Counseling is a good idea

If you have problems in your marriage; examine yourself and fix your issues; examine your relationship with God and fix the issues

The concept of THE ONE is a lie put forward by fairy tales, movies and our culture

If you get a man with your body you will have to keep him with your body and that gets hard after 20yrs due to gravity

The type of man you get will depend on the pool you are fishing from; if you fish in the club you'll get a club guy

It easier for you to be pulled down from the level you are in your relationship with God than for you to pull someone you're in a relationship with up

You need to find your identity in Christ and become a whole person before you go into a relationship
