There’s Nothing Wrong With You Book

There's Nothing Wrong With You is a children’s picture book geared towards children of the progressive parent.

It’s 2016 now, and gender identity and sexual orientation aren’t taboo subjects anymore. They’ve been brought out of the closet, if you’ll pardon my pun, and parents have begun wanting their child to know they’ll be loved no matter who they love or who they are from a young age.

Often it’s a hard topic to bring up, though - how do you bring up such a complicated concept like that that adults have trouble grasping in a way where it’s simple and engaging enough for children to understand?

Enter There's Nothing Wrong With You. It’s a book about a young boy named Alex, who likes dresses, trucks, dolls, dinosaurs, and boys. His story of being accepted by his Grandma is told in such a way that any child who has their own inner turmoil over being weird or different from others will be able to relate, and feel not so alone. It’s our sincere hope that There's Nothing Wrong With You can help stop self-hatred in LGBT children before it starts, much less before it become deeply rooted, as it shows them love before the world ever shows them hate. Even children not on the LGBT spectrum will love this book for it’s simple message : be who you are, and how it shows them to be more accepting towards the other children in their life.
