Peace, a life practice

Psalm 34: 12-15 (TPT)

Do you want to live a long, good life, enjoying the beauty that fills each day? Then never speak a lie or allow wicked words to come from your mouth. Keep turning your back on every sin, and make 'peace' your life motto. Practice being at peace with everyone. The Lord sees all we do; He watches over his friends day and night. His godly ones receive the answers they seek whenever they cry out to him. 

What a beautiful verse to live each day by. You will no longer be so angry at something or someone when you make it a practice to pursue peace and be at peace with everyone. I believe that by doing this, you lift off a lot of heaviness and you can live freely and lightly, which is the life that God desires for you. I believe that this pursuit allows you to see the beauty in things because the scales of sin, bitterness, and depravity has fallen off your eyes and you see things the way God has intended for you to see. You see from a pure viewpoint. Pursuing peace allows you to understand  humanity and it's fragile nature instead of condemning it and its susceptibility to sin. It allows you to give grace the way that God gives you grace, and the way He shows you His mercy. And you will actually enjoy life as the revelation of its beauty unfolds before you.

Worship the Lord greatly. I am so blessed to see and hear the artistic testimony of those that have worshiped the Lord greatly, who have released from the depths of their hearts, what was birthed in them to use and to express. The gift of beauty is offered back to the One who made beauty and so it is that the sweet aroma of love is poured on the feet of the One who is Love and is all-together Lovely. A true worshiper praises Him greatly because they know that He is great and greatly to be praised.

A Dream Interpretation

Hi guys,

I thought I’d share my dream and how I believe God wants me to interpret it. It is Biblical that dreams are sometimes messages from the Lord, that He wants you to really seek out the meaning of, with the help of our teacher, Holy Spirit. The symbolism notes here are from Barbie Breathitt’s Dream Dictionary Book. If you don’t know her yet, she is an awesome minister on Dream Interpretation and also on the Seer realm. Another great teacher on dreams is the late John Paul Jackson, who has a lot of videos available on Youtube about dreams and dream interpretation. Anyways, here is my dream. 

Title: A Boarding School with Cats in the Basement

Dream:

I dreamed that I was in a boarding school, where my older sister had gone before, she was there to meet me. I was exploring the school and went to the lower level of the school, where I knew would contain some terrifying animals. As I opened the door, I went down this basement through a rectangular staircase. Down here were cats, trained to talk. The cats looked at me and were speaking. I forgot now what they have said but I knew they weren't very nice words.

 Symbolism:

Boarding school, tuition pays for food, educational supplies, and lodging, a select or chosen group of elite individuals who are pulled aside for a season to be trained and equipped with skills

Cats - independent thinking, unclean spirit, crafty, mischievous, treachery, deceit, pride, arrogance, unteachable; if a personal pet, someone or something dear to your heart.

Basement - the foundational issues, storage place, depression, to be abased (to bring down), humility, hidden secrets, carnal nature, shame, guilt, repression of traumatic life events

 Meaning:

God is paying for our tuition fees to be trained and equipped for a season, being hidden in Him, to form the skills that He wants us to have for a time in our lives. God is readying us for something great, as we are His chosen ones, set aside for His purposes. But God is also letting us deal with our foundational issues where there may be pride, arrogance, an unteachable spirit, craftiness, or the like, anything of the carnal nature in the depths of our souls, any traumatic event, shame or guilt that we may have been lurking around the inside of our beings. God is helping us deal with these things and we ask for Him to give us grace for abundant life and mercy in our time of need, that He may take these things out of us, go down to the very roots of them, and release these things from us, that we may be whole and renewed. We are being trained and being readied for His purposes. Hallelujah!

Jacob’s Ladder:

“He (Jacob) had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to Heaven and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it” ... Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, "Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it." He was afraid and said, "How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven." (Gen 28:12, 16-17)

“Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple of the Lord, in whom you are also being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.” (Paul’s letter to the Ephesians)

We, the Church, the redeemed, are the tabernacle of the Holy Spirit, the eternal dwelling place of God! We are living stones, according to First Peter 2:4-5, fitly framed together, building the eternal dwelling place of God. The House of God is Us! Jacob’s dream was not just about the Messiah but about you and me and every born-again believer throughout history. It is the heart of our very identity.

The House of God is the picture of God’s intention for your life and for everything you do. He wants a house where He will dwell, where angels ascend and descend on assignment and the Heavens are open over a people who abide in Him, meaning they stay connected in their affection and love for Him. God wants so much to invade this world with the reality of what was purchased on Calvary. But He waits for a people who will live the normal Christian life, putting themselves at risk, constantly tapping into the invisible resources of Heaven that have been standing idle. Speaking of 'revival', this clip is the prophetic stream from the Azusa Now gathering that took place on April 9th, where Shawn Bolz gave some prophecies, and words of knowledge over some people in the crowd. God bless the man who uploaded this on Youtube! It is simply one of the most awe-inspiring videos about God’s goodness and faithfulness to believers who have said yes to the special call of God on their lives. The gift of prophecy and words of knowledge are spiritual gifts that the Holy Spirit offers a believer. It is a powerful tool to use in order for people to realise how God is intimately involved in every area and tiny detail of their lives. Because, truly, He loves us all! He cares about the big and little things we care about. He loves it because we love it. And it is His desire for every believer to be empowered and receive His gifts and walk in them with love. Why does God not show Himself openly? Because He wants the worship that comes from the human will, not from the automatic response of His glory. When God shows just a portion of His glory, the worship is involuntary. It is how a person is wired, there is no option. They’re on their face in awe of the Almighty God.

But the Lord has worked to protect the human will, because out of the human will, we have another issue. Why does God allow evil in the world? The thought that is always promoted is that God is in control of everything, why does He allow evil, this corruption, whatever it might be, to happen? Disease, whatever. There’s a difference between control and authority. And one of the issues that we have to get fixed in our thinking as the people of God is that God is not in control. God has all authority, but He has left parameters in place for humanity to make their own decisions. God created an environment where the will of man plays a role in the outcome of matters. There’s a difference between being in control and being in authority. What’s vital for us to learn is the role that humanity has in bringing about the activity and the invasions of the sovereign God in the affairs of men. What the Lord has done is He has created a world where He has set the environment for the Bride to arise. And the bride has to come not through the involuntary process of worship, the involuntary process of obedience. But has to go through the navigation of life by yielding the will to the purposes of God so that Jesus ends up with the Bride in His own likeness. He can destroy evil in a moment but when He does so, He sacrifices the opportunity for His Son to have a Bride. It is essential that a company of people arise in the midst of options. There has to be two trees in the garden. And in navigating through that process of life, in giving God the worship that comes from the human will. ‘I have chosen, in the midst of difficulty and in the midst of blessing, to give God all the honour, all the praise, to not accuse Him, but to bless Him and honour Him for being good.' What happens in that moment? That is where the transformation of life takes place where there is a Bride, literally, being shaped and fashioned into the image of the Son. - Bill Johnson

A very precious video that the Lord directed me to watch. Liz Wright talks about her testimony which includes her wonderful encounters with Jesus, and how He set her free from a life of abuse and clinical depression, the lessons she has learned from Him, and the testimony of emotional healing that happened at a meeting when a prophetic word from God was spoken and people in the meeting were healed. She also explains the definition of Ekklesia and how we are called to live as the Bride of Christ. Please do watch it as there’s so much wisdom treasured in this one video, and I believe it will stir up many spirits in the knowledge of God’s fullness and God’s desire for His manifestation in and through His church.
