Ok hi, have gay Impera ghouls ! I meant to post this in June for pride month but that didnāt happen but hey, it never stops being pride š³ļøāš :D
Also this gave me a chance to make some ghoul designs so I did have a lot of fun with that.

Swiss (I love the color in his hair though I do want to shake up his design a little more, how though Iām not 100% sure.)
Cumulus (sheās simple but I am so happy with the gradient of her hair and the cloud like horns.)
Aurora (Iām so happy with her design oh my gosh, though I want to find a way to make her look more alien.)
Aether (No notes I love that man) and Phantom (I love his split tail) on his shoulders
Rain (Rainās design I changed a little because I didnāt realize just how close my design was to @charlies-a-thief design so I switched it up a little, focusing more so on the element of water rather than a specific aquatic species like I did last time and I am very happy with it.)
Mountain (he was the second biggest change in character design as he is now green- well partly. I still wanted to keep a deer-ish design, but instead I tried to focus on wood and the moss that grows on it.)
Dewdrop (His design changed a little too, I turned him into a koi fish, and his horns and tail are supposed to be bone. Also when I kept looking up references of the ghouls together to get their heights, I thought it would be really funny if mountain got too excited and dew got lifted up.)
Sunshine (I had no design for her so it was fun to come up with one and I really do love what I did, mainly her horns to mimic that of the sun. For her face markings I was inspired by ahsoka tanoāe design from starwars)
Cirrus (Sheās red! Probably an unpopular choice but I came across a video on Instagram where a person has black a red pain on and it just gave cirrus vibes idk why. I gave her elements of a cardinal, mainly her tail and the darkened part of her face. I also did the blue just cause it looked nice.)
Anywho Iām gonna go back to the void now but you guys have a good rest of your day and have a good pride, all year, every year!

Ghultynzh: Language of Ghouls
Diabolus Ghulus, aka the Nameless Ghoul, is a particular species of demon native to the pits of Hell. Over the course of human history, these particular demons came into contact with human sinners of every nationality, across centuries of history. First, these demons developed a kind of pidgin language, watching human souls communicate through speech instead of body language when humans and ghouls first made contact. Slowly, these ghouls began to develop a language of their own from the pidgin theyād picked up across many other human languages, one theyāve dubbed Ghultynzh (meaning ghoul-tongue).
Ghultynzh is a suffixing, agglutinative conlang with verb-final sentence structure. Rather than using prepositions as separate words such as āto,ā āwith,ā āof,ā āinside,ā āwithout,ā etc, Ghultynzh uses suffixes to append those meanings onto the end of roots. For example:
āHantymāsa Svysāta lezhy.ā
Phantom(subject) Swiss(object) see.ā
Phantom sees Swiss.
These suffixes at the end of root words can be used to append all kinds of meanings onto them. Generally speaking, Ghultynzhās sentences follow this structure:
Phantom(subj.) last night(time) garden(place) Swiss(obj.) Terzo(with) see(past).
Phantom saw Swiss with Terzo last night in the garden.
Ghultynzh features 5 vowel sounds and 19 consonants, with two common writing styles. In the modern age, especially on the surface with things like keyboards, using romanized characters is easiest, so ghouls tend to romanize their alphabet for convenience and legibility to humans sometimes. Major religious texts and formal documents, however, are written entirely in Old Ghultynzh script, a vertical, angular style of writing developed by dragging sharp claws or stones over rock walls.
And just as a little introductory post to this conlang Iāve been developing, I decided to translate the first verse of āYear Zeroā into Ghultynzh. Enjoy!

so me and my friend @cactiisconfused have an au, and since ive recently watched phm i got back into the space jam and decided to make some designs for some of the āalienā species!
specifically the earth ghouls, since i had an idea for them in my head already.
they dont have a scientific name yet, or a common one, but the moons/planets they live on are usually very heavily forested (minus cowbell because he lives on the main trading planet)

above ^ mountain, pebble
all the earth ghoul alien species have this sort of ācrestā on their head thats like an outer skull?? (exoskeleton??) sort of. each crest is different, and can have different patterns/textures such as
wood ( mountain)
stone (pebble, earth/crust, cowbell(ish))
leaf (ivy)
and other things like gems and other earth elements.
the crests as well, usually have horns atop the head that resemble a ungulate (praying i spelled that right and thats correct) such as:
caribou/deer (mountain)
ram/sheep (pebble, ivy)
bull (cowbell)
antelope (earth/crust)
each crest has a gem/stone in the middle thats usually referred to as an āeyeā, but the earth ghouls are completely utterly blind. these gems/stones usually reflect the personality of the ghoul, for example:
mountain, aquamarine, calm personality(still a wip)
pebble, citrine, energetic and excited personality
earth/crust, pyrite, bold or grounded personality (also a wip)
ivy, pearl(technically not a gem or stone?? i dont know) another calmer personality
cowbell, amythest and obsidian, another calm personality plus slight unpredictability and closed off personality
the earth ghouls āseeā through vibrations in the earth (kind of like toph in avatar: the last airbender)(or like many sightless animals) and use that to move around, as well as using a form of echolocation, a sort of āsound languageā to āseeā anything that they might not be able to directly feel

earth ghouls lack vision, and they also lack very basic body organs. they are more related to plants, and are usually seen sitting or standing in areas where the sun can hit their bodies. their bodies are very similar to plants, and while their bodies are not made from chlorophyll (which makes up plants, helps them photosynthesize, and gives them their green color) they have a very similar cell organelle in their āskinā that help them transfer the sunlight into food/energy.
the skin of the earth ghouls is usually relating to their element, or their biome. (for example, mountain is relating to a caribou, for he lives in a colder forested climate/planet) but can also relate to their crest (ivy having a leaf crest, looking like leaf veines, and a mossy, plant body). their skin is very rough, and sort of like an exoskeleton to protect them from any harm. it also allows a good place for things like mosses to grow on the body, crest, or horns of the crest.
while they do not move much, their bodies allow for multiple forms of movement, as most the ghouls do and is (sort of) relating to some far off common ancestor they all had before they went off to live and evolve on other planets.

their front legs are very long, yet their bodies mainly function for biped movement. their necks though, are able to bend comfortably at a certain angle to keep their heads straight while they are walking on all fours. they cannot however, look up at all, as that would injure the neck.
I had made this for @beetlesintrees and they gave me the go ahead to post. I drew their favorite ghouls including Vessel from Sleep Token and their own oc Sos.
I also made some designs for Phantom, Swiss and Mountain and a slight redesign for Rain which I like a lot more than my last one.
ā¢ Dark skin color: from gray to black. Shades of red, purple, pink, white
ā¢ Each quintessence ghoul has white/silver hair
ā¢ There is a quintessence mark on the body; it can appear anywhere
ā¢ Patterns on the body appear due to magic ā the stronger the magic, the brighter and more intricate the patterns. Magic is also divided into black and white. Mostly intertwined; the color depends on intent
ā¢ When using magic, an aura appears that only the ghoul using it can see. To others, it is invisible
Phantom
ā¢ Like all ghouls of this element, he has white/silver hair, but constantly dyes it dark
ā¢ He also always has a messy hairstyle because he cuts his own hair, and it reaches the point of absurd: "I didn't like how this strand lay, so I cut it off"
ā¢ His eyes are gray with a white iris; this doesn't affect his vision in any way ā it's just a feature of quintessence, like the white hair
ā¢ He has bat-like features (ears)
ā¢ Slim build. lt looks feminine...
also, sometimes I draw ghouls with paws, it doesn't apply to anything :)
he has a ācoreā of sorts. Its located near his chest/heart (i tried to draw it accurately on the headshot and tried to show it) where most of his energy comes from
vent shafts are farther away from the core
smoke emits from the blue vents when hes angry/upset (addition to the ghoul biology i wrote about fire ghouls)
general headcanons (also shared with my friend @cactiisconfused)
has a lot more āfireā/energy than other fire ghouls, hence the blue in the little bits of coloring
his body runs a lot hotter than other fire ghouls which causes him to have some difficulty with water (it starts to put out his fire in a sense?? if it gets into the vent shafts and inside his body its kind of suffocating)
>> this means he cant really cry (the tears evaporate quickly) and he takes very hot quick showers
his summoning was fucked because alpha was not sent back. this caused him to be in limbo for a prolonged period of time and he doesnāt remember almost anything from the pits, but he did have a family in the pits (his father Adulin and little brother Emb)(who both belong to @cactiisconfused)

he likes to have his hair long and just ties the loose strands into a bun
he does have a broken horn from Sister Imperator and the part of his horn that was broken off is now rings that Special had made (since it was the least he could do (with what he knows about modern ghoul culture) for getting Ifrit into the situation that broke said horn)
he burns things A LOT. hes the reason why the ministry has put so much into fixing up the ministry multiple times, BUT is also the reason that fire ghouls have better living quarters. who knows how they got the fireproof wood from hell and many other things of the such, nobody will ever know
