And dancers promoting them! I get that it’s hard financially, but they’ve been having great seasons recently. It’s absolutely insane; every other major opera house in the WORLD is shut down. They put their audience (and their biggest donors!) at risk each moment they keep their doors open.

You know what bothers me about Meghan Markle?

That the whole black community supports her no matter what she does, calls everyone who makes a slightly negative comment about her a racist or a hater or worse, bullies anyone who criticizes her, and kisses her arse basically just because of the black representation she provides…

… even though she’s representing the most white privileged family in the world. The royal family has been built on the back of slavery and other tyranny. The diamond’s in the queen’s crown are a direct result of slave labour and the oppression of poc. It’s also the most sexist institute in the western world, which happens to be taxpayer funded, where women cannot inherit land nor titles if they have a older or younger brother and only carry the title duchess when they’re married to a duke. Even today, the royal family are still a representation of the English class system, which is still a problem in British society. They, in part, keep that problematic system intact. They are the face of the past, a past full of abuse, sexism, racism, colonisation and exploitation. Meghan’s wedding dress had the flowers of the commonwealth on it… as if the British royal family is still head of that nation the commonwealth countries actually like… newsflash: they don’t. And it was weird those flowers were on her dress.

Heck, they still hand out medals in name of the great British empire, a colonial empire that caused the death of millions. Get it? Meghan will be handing out medals that carry the name of a colonial racist superpower. And she’ll do it with a smile on her face.

If you’re talking black representation, you ought to dislike every member of that family. Certainly one who’s ignorant enough to give up her entire life for a man, calls herself a duchess of Sussex and still claim to be feminist. No matter if her mum is black.

Snapchat just told me that Emilia Clarke once told Glamour magazine what a game of thrones fanfiction written by her would look like.

I always do this game where I change sexes whenever I get the feeling someone said something slightly not okay, so imagine if Kit Harington said this:

“I want to see Jon and his three dragons share the throne. Eat goat they’ve barbecued. And bring back all the pretty girls, get them to take their dresses off, and be like, ‘I’m now the king of everything! I’d like close-ups of all the girls’ pussies, please.’”

And THAT, dear folks, is yet another example of why Emilia Clarke, and uncountable other privileged and talentless white feminists of Hollywood, are all a waste of human space.
