“So you think this is all for me dog?” he grinned, shifting his wait. “Actually, I’ve already pulled up three shelter websites on adopting dogs on your computer when you get home,” he chuckled, sending her a very innocent grin. “Since you brought the idea up and all.”
“Actually. I didn’t go all out for a dog. Actually, Tom gave me most of these ideas. I wanted to be more simple. You know, I like simple better then all this junk,” he chuckled. “It’ll all make sense if you follow me to the tree you almost died under,” he chuckled, extending his hands. “C’mon, one more stroll under the death tree to find out what’s in me pocket?” he said, waiting for her to take his hands with the brightest grin on his lips he had all night. His shoulders were more relaxed than ever. This felt more right than any crap he had set up.
