The Runeya Curse RPG

Ever wanted to see a town where all sorts of weird shit happens? Like everywhere you turn someone is doing something un-human like? People shift and change their physical features whenever they want. Howls are heard every full moon? Well that stuff is just all in a normal day in this small sleepy eyed town. For many years the town of Runeya, MN has been the home of many well known and unknown mystical beings. From witches, vampires, werewolves to demons, the town has lived in co-existence peacefully till the great massacre of August 1978. Now year’s later creatures have formed their own covens and enemies. Families force their children to stick with their own kinds but that doesn’t stop the teenagers from causing a little mayhem of their own. Every mystical being imaginable is now at each other’s throats on the brink of a world war. Runeya has a population of 2,0066 creatures of myth and folklore. The war has begun…which side are you on? TRC Is Closing down for a few months

Describe your character:

Impulsive In fact,  he is both impulsive and impatient, and hence many a times, the brilliant vampire will not consider minute aspect of the matters--he's more of a big picture type.  He does not care enough about life and death to really think through most situations before arriving at a decision. 

Adventurous Kevin is not one to shy away from taking risks, the vampire has more than once pushed his luck just for that adrenalin rush. 

Seeking The vampire has lost his way.  He has so long not fed from the vein that he has lost his direction.  The council sentenced him to a quarter century of existence from blood bags only.  It is foul.  With his sentence coming to an end, he will again be able to feed directly.  This may be the key for him.  Kevin needs a reason to keep going forward. For a thousand years, his own pleasure and delight from the luring of his meals into giving themselves to him.  

Self-indulgent His self-indulgent streak makes him borderline rude, and ignorant of others’ emotions. 

Undisciplined The vampire is very enthusiastic and active, but his energies are, more often than not, scattered in different directions.  He has left more projects undone, than he has seen through to completion.  He just doesn't give enough of a fuck to do most things.   After living or existing for so long, Kevin has seen so much and done just as much--as such, it can be difficult to hold the attention of the creature.  He has a thirst and need for excitement and novelty that has long gone unfulfilled.  

Charming He needs no vampiric special abilities to lure in his potential human companions.  If ever there was man that inspired the cliche of the silver tongue devil, it was surely Kevin Dash.  He is suave, smooth, and quite irresistible.  Arrogant Always cocky, ever arrogant--some wish they could hate him, but more often than not those that meet Kevin fall victim to that handsome face and his irresistible charisma.  Stubborn The fiery vampire has his fixed opinions and you will not be changing them. Their stubbornness can make him very difficult to deal with, for those who wish to change the millennium and a half old man.  Old dogs don't learn new tricks.

Confrontational Kevin Dash will not think twice before being confrontational and asking questions that may potentially harm the relationship. He does not worry about what others will think of him, because it doesn't matter.  He gives no fucks.

Second Character Choice: Dalton Bell

Describe your character: 

Steadfast  Dalton is dependable.  He can be counted on to never leave his charge.  He will not waver in his commitment to all witches, no matter how Arabella might test his will. She is the greatest challenge of his existence, but he holds hope that as such she too will be his greatest accomplishment.   Dutiful Though he would never admit it or say it aloud, Arabella has the potential to be the most talented witch he has ever encountered.  He seems in her the hope for the future. He cares a great deal for all his charges, but he has never crossed the line to more than a friend and teacher.   Confused Lust for a witch by a companion was always something he viewed as inappropriate, but the dreams that come to him while he sleeps of Maxwell and Arabella are the most vivid of fantasies.  He worries his attraction towards this sister will impact his ability to do his duty to them. Down to earth Dalton is a reliable and sensible soul that is very grounded.  Any success he has had does not cause him to be cocky.  Financially and emotionally, Dalton prefers to be independent and strong so that he doesn't need to look for support when life gets tough.  He gives support, not receives it. Patient Patience is a virtue and the companion posses it aplenty. He wholly believes in doing the job right rather than being the first one to do the job.  Arabella certainly pushes his patience to the limit though.  She is quite difficult to deal with.. Persistent This trait keeps him going, no matter how Arabella irritates or ignores him.  It leads itself to stubbornness at times, but the good outweighs the bad. He puts his whole self into everything he does.  No amount of failures and setbacks can permanently or significantly dampen his spirits.  Frugal Dalton is not materialistic and lives a non-indulgent life. He finds pleasure in simple beauty and the natural earth.

Describe your character: Casey is a very loyal person, almost to a fault. It's that that led him to discovering what was happening around town and realising about the abilities that people in town have. He's a smart guy and is aware of the dangers of the town, but more than anything, he's just ambitious. He wants to see things and to be involved in anything. He's not hugely big on the idea of it all though and often spends a lot of time just marvelling in the type of magic that came from the ocean and the sun and the sand. He's a nice person, though a little caught up the small tragedy of his life.
