This Is the Song Of Stalingrad whether it will work for the beginning i Don't know, just trying to collect our are material.
Well i was just on garage band and i thought i would try something out out with the introduction. Tell me what you think? just exploring possibilities :)
Im only using my voice as a tester and it's the only voice i had when creating this.

I have spoke to Erol and Tierney today at college about it but this is aimed mostly at Joe and Harriet. I want to just ask whether you could come up with an idea as to what sounds effects or ambient sounds you think your monologue would need. If we did this over the weekend i think it would be easier for us having one more thing ticked off and done.
Today i think that myself, Erol and T have done well thinking about an order of what scenes we want to record and edit and also what general sounds we want within the radio play.
We are not coming in tomorrow however i think its important we are all still on board with all this, working from home and keeping in contact. Hope everyone has a nice weekend and i'll see you all on Monday hopefully!
Changes to the Script.
Hi Joe, hope you’re okay mate. Today we have gone over the script you sent Erol and Tierney and we’ve made a couple of changes to the text made. Just bits of grammar that needs tightening up so that it’s fully complete and then allowing us to give a copy of the script to Denise. We don’t mean to be rude or discriminate your work however we thought that these changes need to be made.

Narrator introduction:
4th Line - Three Russian *Offerers – Three Russian *Officers

Chukov’s Monologue:
1st Line – It is not weapon – It Is not A weapon.
4th Line – Remove with the use of Mustard gas - CUT LINE.
7th Line – That is my job. – SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE ADDED ON BETWEEN THE ENDING OF THAT LINE AND THE BEGINNING OF THE NEXT.

Rupenski’s Monologue:
6th Line – even from an early age. – ADD THE FOLLOWING TO THE BEGINNING OF THE NEXT LINE ‘War is a part of me, I grew up in the war and it is where both my parents died…….’
6th Line – What was I supposed to do I had no parents – What was I supposed to do, I had no parents.
7th Line – When I was 8 – When I was young.
7th Line – Just like that, gone. – Just like that.
8th Line – No parents, no role models, and nowhere to go. – No parents, no one to look up too, and nowhere to go.
9th Line – a few years of hard work later and here I am – a few years of hard work and here I am
11th Line – I wanted get revenge – I wanted to get revenge.
13th Line – Chukov and Redenko are both my superior, they will run Stalingrad…… - Chukov and Redenko will run Stalingrad into the ground. CUT OUT ‘if they continue in charge’ FULL STOP AFTER ‘ground’.

Petrov’s monologue:
Tierney finds it quite ‘breathy’ and considering her age it might be an idea to take a few commas out and make it more childlike. There is no clear indication of why Petrov wants to be like her brother. Tierney will discuss this with you when you come back to college.
There is a possibility we might not be called in tomorrow, but we will let you know later, or someone will put something on this blog or the company site.

1st Draft of script is complete.
Good evening guys! Just to fill you in, we have a 1st draft of our script! All the new material is subject to change. Id like to sit with all of you and discuss you feel about what I has written. But I feel we are in a very strong position going into tomorrow. Remember to research what your role actually consists of and we need to come up with a way to present it tomorrow. But well done gang, we worked really hard today. See you tomorrow.

Chukov's Story.
Mustard Gas is a deadly substance. It is not a weapon, it is a method of torture. I sent an order to exterminate the 6th army of Germany from Northern Stalingrad, with the use of mustard gas. 60,000 German soldiers died under my orders. Something so simple as the dialling of a phone, and 60,000 dead people, their blood is on my hands. That is my job, that is what I was hired to do. I was the 8th of 12 children, and although I was surrounded by them, family was a luxury that I never had. At age 12 I packed my bags and and left. I worked for a while until I joined the army, and that’s where I met Redenko (laugh). Where we’re not only friends but fierce competitors, he brought out the best in me and I brought out the best in him. Now in Stalingrad joined by Repenski, it is our journey to save this city. Millions have died, and millions more will die. What is war but a battle of pride, glorified murder to the beat of a drum. I do not fear death, I welcome death as a friend.
Vasily Chuikov Timeline
I was born Vasily Chuikov on 12 of February 1900, into a poor family in a village of Serebryane prudy in the tulu region. South of Moscow. I’m the eighth of 12 children. I went to school and left at 12 to earn a living in a factory in st Petersburg turning out spurs for Calvary officers. During the Russian reveloution I became unemployed. I had no job for a few months until my brother arranged me to be recruited to the red guards then the next year I joined the red army. It was a proud moment, I saw service being sent to the southern front as a deputy commander to fight against the white army. It was a bloody fight but not the worst. Where I made good friends with Sergi Redenko but also good competitors.
Radio Play Introduction.
Intro
General Chukov, Major Redenko, Adjutant Repenski, Guriev and Petrov hold and enormous amount of responsibility in the Battle of Stalingrad. In a battle where millions of Lives where lost, these three Russian offerers along with Guriev and Petrov give the orders, make the decisions and destroy every enemy soldier in site. In a battle where many stories will never be heard, these stories must. We uncover truths and stories they have, where few live to tell the tale.
Rupenski's Story.
She was 13 and a half, 13 and a half years old and killed in cold blood by those Georgian bastards. She was just a little girl, a little girl sent to do a man’s job. I gave her that order, I’m the reason she went to the silo and I’m the reason she is dead. Death surrounds me, even from an early age. Both my parents died when I was 8. Just like that, gone. What was I supposed to do I had no parents, no role models, and nowhere to go. So I decided to join the army. A few years of hard work later and here I am. Working in the High Command. I wanted to make a difference, I wanted get revenge for the death of my parents. But Stalingrad is a place of emptiness, an empty place full of death. Chukov and Rudenko are both my superior, they will run Stalingrad into the ground if they continue in charge. Our own men are starting to help the Germans, who needs enemies when your own men are against you.
Petrov's Story
Dear Mama, It seems like so long ago since I left home for Stalingrad. It's cold here, so very cold. I'm working Under General Chukov in the Russian high command. They look after me, they keep me safe. I run messages for them and take orders, I am important mama. Guriev and I work together to get the job done. I don't know what I would do with out her, she is the sister I never had. It is horrible here, death and horror surrounds us like a straight jacket, there is no escaping it. I miss you, and Pa and Viktor every day. I want to be a hero, I want to be like Viktor, I want to make your proud. At least I have hope of seeing you again one day, I will never see Pa again. Ever since he died I have felt like part of me was missing, part of us was missing. I pray every night for yours and Viktor's safety, and I hope you are praying for mine. Your loving daughter, Petrov.

Adjutant Vladimir Rupenski Timeline
Born – 1912 Vladimir Rupenski
Was a young boy in the First World War, had a huge effect
Lost both parents very young, ambition to fight and take revenge
Went up the ranks in the army and became Adjutant, the battle of Stalingrad was brought in to serve under Rudenko and Chukov.
Because of his early life Rupenski cares for Guriev and the people of Stalingrad, and has a different approach to Rudenko and Chukov
Turns on them because of their calls of judgement. He feels that he could do a better job than Chukov in Charge.
Later dismissed by Rudenko from the army and started a career in barberry. Continued in this career till his death at the age of 72, where he passed his reigns to his son Andrei when he was 30. Andrei was born 1954 where Vladimir and his wife Careena had been married 4 years before Andrei’s birth.
Petrov's Time Line
Petrov lived a happy life with her mother, father and older brother in Stalingrad. Until one dreadful day at the age of 8 and a half when her father was killed in an explosion while trying to save other people who, were trapped due to the explosion. It was hard to cope through the loss and her family suffered for it. Her mother worked as a nurse but there was very little money coming in, her father’s job supported a lot of the family income but he was not there to support them any longer. Life became hard, there was hardly any food and they were on the verge of losing their house. So at the age of 10 with her brother who was 16 at the times, they joined work in the mines to help support their mother. Thought the conditions where horrible it meant that more money was coming in, and with the extra money they were able to keep their house and food was on their plates. In 1941 her brother joined the army and left for war, leaving her alone with her mum. Soon after a girl named Guriev joined the mine work, though Petrov was only half a year older that her she took her under her wing and taught her all she had learned while working in the mines. They soon became best friends and told each other everything, discovering they had a terrible thing in common that brought them closer, almost like sisters. They had both lost their father in that tragic explosion at the age of 8 and 8 and a half. One day she received a letter from her brother, he had been awarded the ‘Hero of the Soviet Union’ award for his bravery and heroicness during the war. He had saved an entire city when he discovered a German placing boom around the town. From the day on Petrov wanted to be a hero just like her brother and father, they had risked their lives to save others and that’s what she wanted. Life seemed to be lifing up for her, she had a mother, her brother and father to be proud of, and a best friend to call a sister. Everything seemed well, until the booms hit Stalingrad. It was on a day off when they hit, Petrov ran with her mother to try and find safety. When she did, she luckily found Guriev. Guriev had told Petrov she was joining the army, and there was no way Petrov was letting her go on her own. So hand in hand the two girls joined the army and where placed in the High Command. Every day she would write to her mother, saying how much she missed her but how proud she would be when she returned, she was going to become a hero. Since she joined she wanted to become a sniper. But she never returned , she was killed in cold blood. She never became the hero she wanted to be, never saw her mother or brother again. When her brother returned from the war, he married years later and was blessed with a girl… he named her Petrov because his sister was always a hero to him, she grew up too fast to support her family and took in a young girl who was felt lost in the mines. That was a hero to him.
