update
hi all! so, i have almost 20 drafts (and i think that’s not counting things i’ve missed). so i’m going to go through and drop some things. i’m hoping to cut my thread count to 12 or so. i’m having a hard time juggling this blog and jim’s, so i think i’m going to make some changes. once i finish drafts on jim, i’ll pop over here and sort some things out.
please consider me on hiatus until things are sorted thanks for your patience. i love you all <3
“CALL ME WHATEVER makes you feel comfortable,” Daisy answered, a soft smile on her face. She sat at the end of Jemma’s bed, keeping a significant distance from her; she allowed Jemma to control the situation, to choose whether or not she wanted Daisy close ( no matter how much she WANTED to pull that bundle of human and blanket into her arms ). “Just don’t tell Coulson I’m giving you a free pass. I’m giving him a hard time.”
“Your SECRET is safe with me” Jemma smiled softly, swallowing back what would’ve been a laugh. She wanted human contact, she wanted to curl up and let Skye Daisy hug her until Jemma felt alive again. Carefully, she nudged herself closer, getting enough confidence to let her skin touch her friend’s, a hand reaching out for one of Skye’s. “...everyone seems to have moved on... almost without me” she exhaled softly. “I don’t know if I belong HERE anymore.”
hi all -- i’ve been too busy to live, so this blog has kind of dwindled. i’m going to go through drafts and reply to some. the rest are going to be dropped. i need to start fresh... ish. sorry lovelies <3

“hey... is it daisy now, or... can i still call you skye?” jemma’s voice is hard, HEAVY, defeated in it’s own sense. nothing seems to make sense, even though this the place jemma left behind. at the moment, she’s curled up in about six blankets, peeking through with a small smile. it only lasts for a few moments. she doesn’t really know how to feel.

“Oh, ah… glad to help!”
Danielle laughed loudly as Jemma scurried off and began working on her computer. She was glad that she could help a fellow scientist out with the task at hand.
“I’ve got a meeting with Agent Coulson in a little while, so I’ll leave you to it, but maybe we could meet for lunch later in the week and discuss your progress?”
“wonderful -- just wonderful.”
jemma was beyond excited, typing at miles a second into her station. everything would be so much simpler now -- a few things to tweak, but nothing as much of an overhaul as she’d suspected.
she almost missed danielle’s announcement that she was leaving.
“oh -- i -- yes, definitely. or we could just meet just because. it’s too bad -- i was enjoying your company.”

He plans on doing that as quick as possible too, before he forgets. Not that he’d forget to come back - he’d just forget to bring clothes, then have to bum more, and then it’d just get ridiculous.

tony frowned a little at that, more inwardly than outwardly -- real life was still hard, living after dying and all. but the engineer smiled softly, guiding canuos out of the building. and he might be stalling a little. just a little.
i -- is that something you’d want? making it a date, i mean? because i wouldn’t be opposed to it.

keep it cool, this is less of a professional thin and more of a personal so be slow…don’ call it a date, whatever you do don’t call it a date that’ll just scare her of and right now you’re in that blissful place where she doesn’t know you and your crazy..
“Maybe someplace quieter?” she suggested “I did mention a bar like a speak easy, good drinks and a….cosier atmosphere.”

Ugly Love ~ Starter Sentences (Pt 2)
She was taken aback initially by the gravity of the words; she knew the blond to be all-but affectionate as he spoke, but this was something decidedly unexpected. She adored him like no other; and yet, to hear those words, she realised just how privileged she was to know that he thought like so. Her surprise faltered; her features softened and she felt her heart begin to thump erratically. All she could do was smile.

His occasional coyness aside, he exuded such a confident manner. Why it was that he seemingly found it difficult to express himself in the given instance was beyond Fleurette—perhaps she was just a little too blinkered to realise the absolute sincerity of his statement and just how much she may have meant to him. It evoked concern, if nothing else (asides from the thump, thump of her heart). She reached to gently grasp his forearm.
❝Steve… are you worried that something is going to go wrong ? I am fine, you know. I can take care of myself. So can you.❞
“i always worry something will go wrong. i just -- i know that people get stupid ideas, and since we’re public... someone might try something.”
steve wasn’t the best when it came to talking about how he feels -- at least, not when it matters as much as this does. one of his hands blanketed fleurette’s, fingers tightening around her hand softly. her hands were soft, warm to his touch, and it made his heart melt a little. she was the best part of his life, and he felt like he needed to keep her safe, even though she was strong as hell. fleurette could take care of herself, but he wanted to be there just to be sure.

Aria winced a bit “yes that…that was not a well made plan, and that was all Fury mind you. He had some ideas he needed to know of and figured that would be the best way.” she explained, “He was mostly right, we learned a lot from that encounter.”
tapping on her laptop and humming “any allergies to materials?” she asked “like wool or cashmere or something?”she asked, she didn’t want to get her something she wouldn’t like or would end up making things worse by giving her a rash or something. It was nice seeing the woman smile, and relax, it made Aria feel justified in her choice to just go in and ignore rules.
“learned a lot -- aka how to build a room that’ll be captain america proof. which is scary, if you think about it for more than five seconds.”
the words were a little bitter than she’d expected; the brunette just didn’t trust authority, even though she’d been a part of that authority for a while now. skye shook her head, curling up on the bed they’d given her; it didn’t dawn on her she was tired until she’d stopped worrying for five seconds.
“nah, not allergic to anything” she replied softly, brow creased a little as her thoughts wandered. typical, of course. “’s ironic that i feel claustrophobic in here when i worked in a freakin’ van.”

this, he gives a more genuine chuckle about. losing his fingers—definitely a risk, though, again, not nearly his biggest worry. thank God, or whatever, the health department isn’t legally allowed to do random spot checks, because the contents of the back room are more than unsanitary: they’re incriminating.
maybe not the best conversation to have with someone you’re trying to get to know in a sane, polite sort of manner. ned swallows, gulps down the saliva in his mouth nervously, then chases it down with a long sip of cold coffee.
“…no, no, go back. lab? like, medical? or, like, evil science lair or possibly dark magic and torture in a creepy dungeon, lab?”
“a -- creepy dungeon lab? oh no, no no.”
jemma shook her head, swallowing back a quiet whine. look what you’ve gotten yourself into -- good work. the scientist hummed softly, mind buzzing with how he could recover from this. jemma was the worst liar ever, so there’s little she could do to clean this up -- with a hum, she rocked on her feet, nibbling on her bottom lip.
“a sciency lab -- biochemistry -- very cool, actually. lots of things that explode and erode metals and do things you’d never even think of. lots of, erm, top secret things i’m -- well, it’s a long story. and you must have things to do.”

“oh, i’m glad to hear it.” he grinned, pressing a kiss to the tip of his omega’s nose as he grinned down at him. he loved lazy days like this, lazy days where it was just the two of them, being happy, being together. steve hummed softly, contently, when the other ran a hand over his skin, his eyes falling shut as he smiled.
“staying here sounds pretty good too.” he nodded, trying to be serious but he broke into a grin pretty quickly. he leaned into that kiss, a hand slipping to th small of steve’s back, to the curve of his ass, as his tongue slipped into steve’s mouth.
steve whimpered, the hand pressed against the small of his back made him squirm, and having a tongue slip into his mouth got him to outwardly moan. the omega didn’t realize just how needy he was until he felt his body against steve’s and how much getting some tender love and affection wouldn’t be a bad idea.
in fact, he liked the idea.
“mmm don’t stop.”

There’s a desperate look at the glass, Sarkis almost heartbroken because goddamn, he has to sit up to drink from the glass. It’s replaced pretty quickly by a look of stubbornness before he pushes himself upright on wobbly arms, tentatively taking the glass and bringing it shakily to his lips to nurse.
‘S fine, Len. After the water I’ll probably be good to go.
And the faster he gets rid of the fuss, the less embarrassed he’ll feel. It’s bad enough that he got himself dropped back in here.
‘s not a BIG deal, sarkis. i jus’ wanna make sure yer well enough t’be alone. you look pretty rough for wear.
leonard pulled over his chair, sighing softly as he sat for the first time that day. it’d been a long shift, and to be honest, he was happy he knew where sarkis was. this kid had the habit of running around and getting himself hurt. at least, here, leo could keep an eye on him.
you’d be surprised, darlin. y’might need more time than you think.
the doctor didn’t realize darlin had slipped until he finished the thought, and his cheeks reddened almost immediately.
Rhee stuck her tongue out at him at the ‘maybe later’ comment.
“You think? All I ever find are skimpy things. It’s annoying. I already have plenty of lingerie. I want some damn footie pajamas now.” She realized something. “…I don’t have any feet for footie pajamas to go into…”
She smiled over at him beside her. This was one way to get him to rest.
“I dunno… I’m not good at naming things. And anything I’m liable to think of would be sexual.”
Tony giggled -- yes giggled -- and then it slowly drifted to more of a frown. He wiggled over just a bit closer, his hip bumping hers playfully. Even though it was by accident. But it looked like he meant to.
“Pepper could hem the pj’s to make some Rhee-sized leg-sleeves for the footie pajamas. That’s not too much of a problem”
He laughed a bit at that, shaking his head. “I’d make anything just as sexual, to be honest. But... hm. Is super legs too corny?”

Jim tilted his head, watching the prisoner for a second. Then he turned to his CMO, his expression all business again. He didn’t think this would be difficult anymore. The man seemed pretty subdued… That was the nice thing about having a doctor to help you torture people.
“Give us… ten minutes. I won’t need more.” He nodded at Bones to leave.
“AYE sir. i’ll be outside if y’change yer mind.”
the doctor looked to their prisoner, giving him an all-business glare before he looked to the captain. leonard gave him a curt nod, turning on his heel and waiting outside the room; making sure he was just close enough to hear what was happening. waiting until he may be needed.

Danielle exhaled a slow breath that jostled a few strands of hair draped across her forehead.
“I’ll give the soup a try. Worst comes to worst, I’ll stick to tea.”
She retracted one of her hands to trace the line of his jaw with her thumb, smiling still.
“You should be studying, too. Or doing homework or something. I don’t want your grades to suffer because I’m a poor patient.”
“soup it is” he murmured softly, kissing danielle’s cheek before he got to his feet, a smile still on his lips. even when she was sick, danielle seemed to brighten his day with just her presence. it reminded him of how he used to be with jocelyn... and either that was a great thing or completely terrible.
“danielle, don’t worry -- i’ll be fine. just’ worry about feelin’ better, okay? i’ll manage well enough. rest up, i’ll be back with soup in no time.”
he flashed danielle a soft smile, making quick time to the kitchen. they had soup, and really it was just warming it up he needed to do. so he emptied the little pouch (because it was actually better than the stuff in the can) into a saucepan, putting it on medium heat.
steve hadnt expected anything like this at first; he had been so scared to touch the young omega, just in case he didn’t want it. he had been so careful not to hurt or upset him, because he wanted him to be his own person. he didn’t want him to just go from one alpha to the other. but from what he could see, steve actually enjoyed it. he wanted to be with the alpha. and steve truly couldn’t have been happier.
“i don’t think so.” he murmured, looking down at steve. “and anyone who does, well… i’ll give ‘em a piece of my mind.” or his fists. Whichever came first, really.
“...i’m just scared” he murmured, biting on his lip before he hugged steve tighter. the blond knew that things could go from bad to worse without a single thought. life had a way of doing that to him, and steve knew it could happen to him too -- and the last thing he wanted was to lose steve.
“things have been so good so far, and the last thing i want is to lose you. and y’know, all of these wonderful things. you -- you don’t deserve for things to go to hell ‘cause of me.”

Rhee giggled as Steve scooped her up and set her into the chair.
“Can I sit on your lap, Daddy?” she asked, looking up at him. She liked calling him Daddy. It felt right.
“Yes, please!” she said to the offer for him to cute her pancakes up, but first, she drowned them in syrup.
Steve just chuckled, watching the pancakes get inundated in syrup. He sighed softly, grinning as he picked the young one up and set her on his knees. The plate came with them, and he started cutting up her breakfast, kissing the top of her head softly.
“That’s a lot of syrup, you goof” he told her with a laugh, no malice in his tone whatsoever.
