Do you know what pains me?

Sirius didn’t know that the Dursleys were abusive.

At the end of Prisoner of Azkaban, he automatically assumes that Harry would rather live with them than with him. In the Goblet of Fire, Harry writes to him about Dudley’s video games and diet habits but never explicitly mentions anything about being abused. Even when he gets to Grimmauld Place in the Order of the Phoenix, he expresses his anger at not receiving information and though we know that he was also emotionally exhausted from spending another summer at an abusive household, he never discloses it. In fact, seeing as how he protected Dudley, Sirius could just as well be under the impression that the two were very close.

And I hate this so much because Sirius Orion Black grew up in an abusive household and if he had known for a single second that his godson was facing the same thing that he had faced, he would have really blown up a street in an attempt to get to Privet Drive and rescue Harry.

And it also breaks my heart because you know that Harry knew this which meant that he was more worried about his godfather’s safety and freedom than he was his own health.

A question about sexualities

So I’ve heard people saying that bisexual isn’t necessarily the attraction to two genders, that it can be more than 2, but if that’s true then what’s the different between that and polysexual?

Poly could be a girl attracted to multiple genders but for example not guys. Whereas bisexuals are attracted to their gender and others, as in all others. I think that’s the difference. I don’t really see the difference between Pan and Bi though

Me: Decide what?

Sister: To like, talk about it.

Me: Talk about what?

Sister: you… liking… girls

Me: When I finally couldn’t deny it

Sister: And why’s that?

Me: Because I found a girl I loved, and I couldn’t pretend to be straight any more

Sister: That sucks dude

Me: What?

Sister: You said loved.

Me: So?

Sister: That means it’s over. Did she break your heart?

Me: Yeah, she did.

Sister: Well fuck her – you’ll find another girl

This made me really happy, because here I thought it was going to turn into a homophobic moment, but it didn’t.

It has recently been brought to my attention that I may have a learning difficulty. I’ve never done well on exams despite actually studying for them, I take longer than others to pick up new things, I am often clueless, and often have trouble staying focused. For a long time I thought I was simply stupid, which is what I have been told so many times for so long.

It’s not that I don’t listen, because I honestly do. People are often impatient with me even though I’m trying so hard. I just struggle to learn.

I’ve requested an appointment to get some answers. In a way I’m hoping I do have a learning difficulty, because it would explain so much and provide me and those around me with answers. Otherwise, maybe I am just stupid and that’s not something I want to be.
