“Well I can tell Edward isn’t your name. But if you prefer that then can accept that.” She said and smiled at his way. “Thank you. I actually miss France but I came here for a medical reason but now I can’t go home to France without someone with me.” She told him and then looked down. “Being blind is better then what I had. I had a face infection from when I was born and they finally were able to get rid of it but it cost me my sight. I am happier and in less pain.”

He chuckled again, he could go with his middle name, it would be interesting. “Medical? Is it about your eyes?” he frowned “someone is coming from France to get you..?” he was rather confused now. But he entered the café anyway and guided the girl to take a seat. Next, he sat just across the table. “Then you knew this would the the side effect?” he asked,finally looking straight at her. But she was so beautiful.... why sad things would happen to a person like that?

Harry was acrossing the streets when he bumped into someone “hey, watch out where you are going!” he said angry, not in the mood to face someone. It was just then when he realized that he had just bumped into someone with black glasses and white cannon. He immediatly tried to repair the situation. “oh- sorry- i didn’t mean to… it wasn’t really what I wanted to say, I’m not rude like this. I didn’t know that you were- I mean..” blind.

Aurora had been walking. It been a long time she had been with out her sight. She had got her infection taken care of only to lose her sight. She had heard him coming but could not tell which way. Before she could move out of the way she landed on the ground. “It’s okay….” she started to say but as she tried to get up she lost her cane. “It’s okay you can say it. I am blind.” She said with a smile.

He was so embarrassed it would be funny to see. But anyway he supported her to get up. And then to get her cane. “I didn’t mean to offend you or anything like that; I’m very, very sorry for this” Harry took her hand, placing the cane in it. “Just having an awkward day..”

“It’s quite alright. I am kinda still getting adjusted myself. I have been with out my sight for a little under three months. I have a hard time moving fast so it’s not your fault.” She said and smiled in his direction. “Thank you so much Monsieur. Would you help me figure which way is the cafe? Maybe you could join me and we can talk about what happened?” She offered him with a smiled.

He had shouted at her for no good reason and yet she was a sweet girl. It was impossible not to smile back at that. “yes, that would be a kind opportunity to redeem myself. “he said. And took her other hand, placing it on his arm so he could easily guide her around. Other thing he noticed– he was pretty happy because, since she couldn’t recognize him, her company would be genuine. “the closest is two blocks from here.

“That is fine. You are helping out a lot.” She said and smiled. “So can I ask what caused you so much pain to be run away so hard? Or may I know your name? Maybe I should introduce myself first. I am Aurora Destler of the Paris France Destler.” She said to him and smiled to him. She held his arm but let her cane guide her more to the ground. “I miss the world of colors but I have not let that get to me when people point it out.”

“I love you too.” She whispered baring her head into his chest. She slowly fell asleep in his arms. Though as she slept and midnight came around she began having nightmares again and woke in tears to find him still there. She tried to go back asleep but couldn’t. She feared he wasn’t really. She reach to touch his check but stopped. 

He was asleep, but woke up a the sound of his wife crying. “Hey…” he called her softly and hold her closer once again. “Shh..” comforted her, carressing her arm

She calmed down the minute he spoke. She could tell he was real. The nightmare had just freaked her out. “NIck…. It was awful… My nightmare.” She hugged him tightly.

Darren had let out a shaky breath as he felt he other caress his cheek and closed his eyes slowly relaxing feeling the other hug him close. He felt dizzy and weak as he slowly fell asleep against the other a small dull pain occurring in his neck. 

Fred didn’t actually sleep. Vampire had no need of sleeping. He just laid there, hearing to the human’s breathing. And when it was time, he left the room. Another slave came later bringing breakfast.

“Nick… I missed you. I really don’t want to fight. I wanted today to be good for us. Why did we end up fighting over my brother when we could have been sleeping in each other’s arms?” She asked and looked at him. She wished that she had keep her mouth shut. She want her husband to hold her. She hugged the same pillow she had hugged when he was away at war. She wanted comfort and safety it had give her when he was gone. But with him in front of her there was no comfort in the pillow nor the safety it once gave her. “Nick….please…..” She started to cry as she looked at him hoping he know just what to do like he had in the past.

It was heart wrecking to see his wife like that, so upset. That was the probably the only thing that would make him give in, since he was such a uneasy but sensible-only-with-his-wife-and-kid person. He sighed, uncomfortable “I’m sorry” he finally said, honest. And he got closer to her, laying down, and holding her very close to the warmth of their bodies would mix together and smell like home again– and words were not needed.

Aurora turn to him and buried her head into. She began to cry into him. Not so much in sadness but in the fact he did just what he always did to comfort her. His arms were her home. She held on to his arm and began to pull closer. “Nick….. Don’t leave ever again.” She begged softly. Her home was in his arms. She belonged there with him.

He said nothing; because what would he tell her if he was convoked again? both of them knew that they wouldn’t find a way out. “I love you” told her after a couple minutes, comforting her. Kissed the top of her head again and closed his eyes “sleep, I’ll be right here when you wake up, I promise”
