I don’t watch Overwatch League for representation, I watch it to watch the best players in the world compete. I watch it to watch the best of the best push each other to be better. Sure, it’d be nice if there were more women, but I don’t want the quality of the games to go down because people want representation. When a female Overwatch player qualifies on a skill based level for Overwatch League, then they deserve to be there. I say this as a female who identifies as a woman. A spot among the best should not be given, it should be earned. A spot given and not earned is shameful and not deserved.
