My Roman Empire is the fact that Riker was abandoned at 15 years old and when he is rightfully pissed off, he basically gets told to get over it. His trauma gets brushed off because his Dad also went through some shit. That bitch Kyle should have thought about that before made a baby. You don’t just get to have a kid and then leave it when shit gets inconvenient!

And the worst part is, he doesn’t even apologize. He just gets to say “I love you Son” one time and everything is suddenly fine.

Riker had every right to fist fight his dad. Both Pulaski and Troi failed him in this one and I stand by that.

T'rese is a Vulcan that has bouts of emotion due to her passion for music and childcare, who later goes on to become a Medical Officer that specializes in maternal care. Jwlennon (dad chose the name lol, he said it was like Lxwana) is a Betazoid space hippy who's trying to bring back rock n' roll. His best friend was Bajoran, died, and he wears his earring to honor him, and to remind him why he's still writing music. He goes on to be a music history teacher on Enterprise D alongside T'rese. They also frequently perform mini concerts for the Enterprise D crew.

It's so funny bc they're literally just my parents but I have so much lore for them that they're becoming part of the intense hyperfixation gnawing at me, I love their dynamic so much. He's the only person in the universe she doesn't have to explain herself to, because he can feel what she feels. Ugh.

I'll have to make a post about my self-insert, their daughter who is half betazoid half vulcan, aka the autism creature, I think I'm naming her Se'lina. If y'all have any Vulcan/betazoid mixed name recs PLEASE let me know because I'm having trouble
