Thinking more about Mech dysphoria today.

Stepping out of your cockpit and stumbling because you don't have the right number of legs.

Blinking your eyes out of sync because you don't have the right number anymore, don't have access to on board cameras the way you're supposed to.

Struggling to grab and pick things up because you have the wrong number of fingers.

Failing to recognize your face in the mirror without layers of armor plating over it.

Feeling like a brain pulled from its body and forced to function independently.

Being overly precise and delicate with every movement. Not used to not having a 76 ton body that could crush and break everything if you aren't careful.

Wondering why the floor doesn't creak when you step on it like usual before remembering you are outside your real body.

Feeling exposed like your entire body is an open wound without cm of steel wrapping around you and protecting you. Flinching at a gust of wind because it had forgotten how it feels.

Missing a simple catch because you kept waiting for your neural interface to feed you ballistic information.

always trying to pull information from your proximity sensors so you can tell if you are about to crush some poor engineer thats standing too close but then you have to remember they are taller than you now.

Hyrule

His faerie tell is that his arms are too long, aside from everyone knowing about the curse and scorning him after his adventures is not only because of the curse but because everyone can tell he's not hyrulian (especially since this is an era where the Zora are monsters and every one else is corrupted by Ganon)

When Hyrule was a child and young teenager it was harder to tell cause kids grow weird, but now it's very apparent

Drew another Hylia eldtritch light bird! She's holding first in her hands but he got blurry after the edits lol

I wanted to experiment with a bird beak since she has so many feathers but I think I like the only eyes idea more

This time I tried to communicate the light gloop effect and glowing better

Sketch Dump

I'm playing around with making Time's armour a bit Roman - don't worry that is *not* the final design.

Twilight looks pretty typical far as redesigns go, gave him a broad sword and smaller Obi than typical

I wanted Hyrule to look scrubgly and odd, they have the pants and shoes of someone working in the fields, but the tunic is that of a heroes - the same one the last kid died in. I want them to look worn and taken care of, the tunic noticably magic and tragic

Haven't decided on Hyrules gender yet (Time isn't convinced gender exists) should they be nonbinary? She/her cause part faerie? Or he/him cause that's what hyrulians assigned to them when they first wondered over?

Hylia ref

I want Hylia to look like this *thing*, something not otherworldly but such a part of it she's too big to see with eyes alone

She's depicted with feathered and a human shape so I gave her that, but I want her features to be artistic interpretation because I want her to BE light. I want it to drip off her form and roil inside her like the sun

The feathers are constentrated at her scalp, ears, breast and pelvis. They move around with the light (like seaweed in the ocean current) and as she sheds feathers move around, hence the depiction of her hair being all feathers and her long gown

And bird claws cause sexy

hyper fixations are so embarrassing for me because I make every part of my life center around the thing I'm fixating on like I would get out of bed and serve myself a bowl of cereal and be like "just like my Best Friend Finn the Human would :)" and it's completely unironical
